Best tattoo artists in town, good atmosphere, very talented artists, super clean, my tattoo artist Shaun took the time to listen to my needs and my ideas and I love my tatto! I highly recommend they are all very talented!

I had the pleasure of working with Alex Koval for my entire leg sleeve, featuring stunning portraits of my wife and kids. His work is nothing short of extraordinary; I constantly receive compliments on my tattoo's. I've returned to him for additional pieces, confidently recommending him as the best tattoo artist in Calgary hands down.

Long time client of this shop and for good reason. The experience starts right when you walk in. The culture and atmosphere greet you right when you open the door. I had the honour of getting my tattoos done by Shaun, and he absolutely killed both pieces! I cannot recommend this shop enough! From the moment you step in and get greeted by the front staff to professionalism, attention to detail and unbelievable talent of the artists - the whole experience is absolutely incredible! Came in for a fade and a beard line up, Mercedes trimmed my hair and beard; it looks so crisp!

In the last 6 years in Calgary I have struggled with finding a reliable barber who consistently satisfies my expectations with the look. Mercedes has put that struggle to an end.

I have visited Mercedes 5 or 6 times already, and every time I have left more than impressed. The visits are always enjoyable, she’s kind and bubbly, and a truly brilliant barber.

If you’ve been having a similar struggle to mine, this is the move.

Experience from 2022 - Not a great experience, unfortunately not just once. Booked a tattoo appointment with Sky over a month in advance. Came from out of town over 5 hours each way and found out she was unable to do our tattoo’s less than 12 hours prior to our tattoo. Rescheduled for a week later, and drove down again. We show up early with other artists telling us she wasn’t there and that they hadn’t heard from her. After 45 minutes after our appointment was scheduled, between us and another artist (who was taken away from his client) we got ahold of her. Glad she was able to give us our deposits back, but felt forgotten especially since I drove twice for the tattoo and she mentioned not putting the appointment into her schedule the second time. Although she and other artists there are very talented, there was a lack of trying to make things right at the shop and other artists didn’t seem to want additional business by doing our tattoos on the day of or at a later date. We hoped for better from a shop that is supposed to have a great reputation. Won’t recommend going here sadly.

Always a great experience coming here! The artists are all talented, friendly and inviting. I haven't been to another shop because I know what to expect when I go to 3 Kings!

A great collective of talented tattoo artists in Calgary. I have been coming here for awhile now to see one specific artist, but I am always greeted kindly by the other artists, they stop in to check on the work being done, visit and chat with you, etc. A fun, positive environment to spend a day getting tattooed. Don't hesitate to check out one of the artists here as all styles are represented by professional, creative artists.

I received the most beautiful tattoo from OLEKSANDR. This artist was able to create a piece from very sparse information. I have little to no imagination and he was able to design a piece using all the elements I provided, and add his personal touch. I have never been more proud to showcase a tattoo as it is a contemporary look for a traditional piece. His talent for producing a realistic image on your skin is phenomenal. His professionalism and proper use of time made for a wonderful experience. The work he showcases on his Instagram Koval. Alex.tatoo is beyond exceptional. Shaun and his staff are amazing, I would recommend this shop to anyone that wants to get a tattoo or a haircut, the shop is very hygienic and clean and just a great place overall I was most impressed with their professionalism and how polite they are to their customers that's the biggest thing that stood out to me. I've had amazing experiences every time and would recommend this shop to anyone with 5/5 experience.

I got 3 of Lindsay’s flashes on monday and I have to say she did an incredible job, absolutely stunning work and is a genuinely kind person 12/10 recommend getting work done by her! I also got my hair done by amber today, fantastic designs on my undercut on my sides and great bangs, also super kind and would definitely recommend! Overall great shop, i’ll be back (:

My tattoo experience at 3 kings was a great! Its a very welcoming environment with nothing but amazing people in it. Shaun and his team have things very clean and organized, music was awesome, and it was most definitely something I would recommend especially if you’re looking to get a tattoo.

From the second my girlfriends and I walked into this place, we immediately fell in love with the employees and overall atmosphere.

Before even getting to Calgary for our girl's weekend trip, my best friend and I joked about getting matching tattoos/piercings. We were actually just at the Cactus Club Cafe right across from 3 Kings Collective to make some dinner reservations before we stumbled into the shop. We weren't sure if they did walk-ins but we thought it wouldn't hurt to check and ask. Luckily, their apprentice, Lindsay was willing to stick around. After we told her our ideas, she showed us some of her flash designs and then catering to each of our wants, she sketched up exactly what we were looking for.

And just like that, my best friend and I had our spontaneous tattoo dreams comes true! Shout out to Dani and Jesse for hanging around and being great company during the whole process.

Definitely coming back here whenever we're in Calgary to get another piece from Lindsay or any of the other team members. Already itching for another tattoo!

Amber is the first barber who's taken the time to be patient and figure out an optimal hairstyle for my stubborn hair. She now knows what I exactly want for my haircut and she always does a great job!

Amber is a great barber and always goes above and beyond to make sure every cut/trim is on point. If you’re looking for a new barber I would highly recommend her.

Amazing experience! The staff is very welcoming and warm. Haircuts are top notch and the tattoos are on another level. Almost completed my leg sleeve there and can’t wait to be back in the shop.

Hands down the best barbershop I’ve been to in the city! Wouldn’t go anywhere else to get fresh. Highly recommend. The service has always been 5 star in my time going here!

Unfortunately, I have nothing but negative things to say. My tattoo appointment with Silvia was supposed to be tomorrow (June 11th) and this was booked many months ago. When I booked with her, she gave me a quote for around $500, then I sent a $50 deposit to save my spot which would then go toward the price of the tattoo. Fast forward to tonight (the night before the tattoo appointment), I messaged her confirming everything including price and then she tells me the its actually going to be $750 because she feels slower since returning to work after lock down (I have the text messages). So, its a good thing I asked because what if i went in to get the tattoo done expecting to pay $500 like she quoted me, and then just because she feels slower, shes going to upcharge me $250 extra? And, the fact that she didn't inform me at all that this was happening is extremely unprofessional. Save your time AND money, find somewhere else! Many other people have come forward to me with incredibly terrible experiences with 3 Kings Collective. I'm not impressed at all, and I wont be returning.

Amazing experience at this shop! Extremely talented artists, clean and friendly. Had my tattoo done by Steve Lyseng and eye brows microbladed by Anjelika Roberts. Recommend both, incredible work and extremely professional! Very happy and will be coming back for years to come!

Anjelika did powder brows on me and I’m so happy with them. She’s very attentive and kept checking in on me to make sure I was comfortable with the pain and with the shape she had created. She explained things like colour matching + fading, and healing so I knew exactly what to expect so I was able to trust the healing process which is super intense and crusty. I am very impressed with her shading ability and I think that Anjelika is a very talented and gentle artist.

I was recently tattooed here by Zach Roberts and I cant rave enough about him. This tattoo was the longest I had to sit for and by far my best tattoo experience. Zach and the rest of the team cheered me on through the painful parts and just made me feel so comfortable hangin out for the afternoon. BEST PIECE OF ARTWORK I HAVE ON MY BODY HANDSDOWN. I would recommend Zach and their team all day, everyday. So friendly, so courteous. Thank you Zach for giving me my forever favorite piece.

I live about 45 min north of Calgary and will not hesitate to visit this shop whether it be for a haircut or a tattoo. Everyone is beyond professional. The barbers are next level and the artists are amazing. I would 100% reccomend this shop to anyone.

Mark was very professional and the cut was amazing. This was my first visit to Three Kings as I live across the city, but I will be making the journey for every cut I need from here on out.

Mark also took the extra time to show me how to keep it looking fresh as the hair starts to grow back in something that no other barber at other shops has done for me.

Been going to see the same artist, Zach A. K. A. Trailmix Tattoos (straight 10 outta 10, would recommend), for a couple years now, and he just recently moved to 3 Kings Collective, and this was my first time coming into the shop. The vibe is super chill and inviting, and it was honestly one of the most enjoyable tattoo experiences I've had so far. Lots of great choice in style as far as artists go as well, so that's always great.

(Jay KARASTAS) I made the jump to this place a year ago, connor and Zach (tattoos) are amazing, well all staff are amazing here. They are always early and connor will communicate ideas and plans throughout the days leading upto your appointment. The shop is the cleanest tattoo shop I have ever been in, this place has an overall welcoming feeling forsure! I love to swing by and chat with the guys cause they are very personable! I recommend everyone to stop by this place and see for yourself! 5 stars is not enough to represent the amazing work that this place turns out! I look forward to my next appointment! I have only chatted with the barbers, they are very personable aswell! I would recommend my family to come here most definitely!

Don't bother making an appointment, I guess.

I was already looking for a new place for hair cuts in the area, and was delighted when I saw the promotion for free cuts till the end of June. Figured it was a great sign and perhaps I’ve found the place!

However, I made an appointment and when I arrived there was someone already in the chair and a bunch of people waiting, but when he asked if I had an appointment I figured I would just be slotted in after the current cut which was fine. After 15 mins the current cut was completed but then he took another walk-in ahead of me. I understand that it’s obviously going to be busy when they are offering free cuts for the rest of the month, but if appointments aren’t being honoured then they should be accepting them to begin with and therefore wasting people’s time. I’m sure they do great work, but if you value your time I’d recommend you look elsewhere.

Added after reply: I arrived 5 mins early (11: 40) and when I looked at the time after getting into the car it was almost noon. And also, nit-picking over the exact amount of time I was in there disregards the fact that I left work to drive there and back in the heavy rain, when a simple note upon booking could have saved me the time and effort.
