This dealership experience is outright completely different to anything I’ve experienced before. I recently purchased a 2014 Acura RLX from Giovanni and I cannot be happier. This was the cheapest car at their dealership by a wide margin, yet I still was treated with lots of respect. The price was objectively fair, there were no pushy sales tactics, and the showroom was just a car guy’s paradise. It feels like an experience tailored to automotive enthusiasts, and I appreciated how friendly Gio and Dylan were. I’ve been to several car dealerships in Calgary before, ranging from used car lots to luxury brand dealers, and I’ve never seen the same level of professionalism and care anywhere else. The cherry on top here is definitely the after-purchase customer care. This is outright mind blowing to me, because typically after the deal is done no other car dealer wants anything to do with you, they just go out to chase another commission. I needed to get some preventative maintenance done on the Acura and Giovanni scheduled me in at a great shop with good rates, and even specifically came by there to pick me up and drive me home because my car was going in for the whole day (!)

That just seals the deal for me that this is by far the most pleasant dealership experience I’ve ever had by a wide margin.

I felt like it was necessary to write a review on this business. I came into the dealership to take a look at a vehicle, unfortunately for me the car had been spoken for, just for that alone I had to put this out there. The vehicle was tentatively sold and I was ready to buy. Instead of selling it from under the potential client Giovani did not give me the vehicle. I have to say that shows what kind of organization you are dealing with. It is rare to find and honourable person in this industry. For that alone I would recommend this company. Giovanni was by far the most professional and respectful owner I have yet to come across. Even though I was not able to purchase from him I thought I should send this out to anyone who might be looking for a reputable person to do business with.

Super impressed, Giovanni and his team went above and beyond to make sure I was getting a great vehicle. Great to meet someone so honest and straightforward in the car sales market. 10/10 would recommend.

Hands down best car shopping experience I’ve had. Car shopping can be stressful but 409 Performance made it so easy and enjoyable. They were super accommodating. The car I purchased was a trade in for them and not their typical top tier luxury vehicle, however, I was treated with the same priority and respect as a customer. They even delivered my vehicle to my house. 1000% recommend buying your next vehicle from these guys.

Dealing with the people at 409 is what a car buying experience should be. Every dealership in Calgary should take a training class from Giovanni and his team. I would not buy any where else. A first class organization.

Govan and Dylan were both amazing to work with. Friendly, helpful, patient and fair to deal with. One of the best purchasing experiences I ever encountered. More of a cool car club vibe than a dealership, absolute awesome showroom. Govan went the extra mile for me and had the car PPF wrapped, chrome delete and debadged all before I took delivery. 10/10 would definitely recommend if you're looking for your next special vehicle to reach out and 409 Performance Cars.

Great service from start to finish.

Giovanni and Dylan are a breath of fresh air into the whole experience of buying a car from a dealer. No pushy tactics, very open, very fair pricing and great follow-up. Most dealers can’t wait to get you off the property once the deal is done but Giovanni is focused on overall level of service which makes it much more personable. He even followed up after to make sure everything was as expected! “Top Shelf” service, guys!

Can't say enough about what a great experience it has been dealing with Giovanni over the last few weeks. From my positive first impression when emails were returned promptly, to my shceduled show room visit where I found the car spotlessly detailed, fueled and ready to test drive, to negotiating a fair, no haggle trade in and purchase price on a new (to me) BMW. Everything was first rate!

To top off the experience, when an O2 sensor failed the day after took delivery of the car, Giovanni picked it up, had the repair completed at no charge and left me with a loaner while the work was being done. 5 stars for 409 Performance Cars! And I never give 5 stars.

Just bought an Audi Q7 from Giovanni. Right from the first time I walked in and himself and Dylan introduced themselves this was such a pleasurable buying experience. For me, having pushy salesman and “let me go and see my manager” game that we have to play at regular dealerships is very off putting. At 409 Performance Cars, it’s the exact opposite. Giovanni insisted I go home and sleep on it after taking the car for a test drive and we would talk numbers whenever I was ready. The deal was done the next day with zero pressure applied. Had some extra rims that I bought as a second set and the purchase and install was organized Giovanni. Great after sales service for some follow up questions. This place is a breath of fresh air for the used car industry!

As advertised and beyond! My buying experience with Govan was exceptional. He is honest, direct and genuine. When i flew in to test drive a car, he picked me up at the airport, drove me to the dealership and put me up in his AirBnB! He even offered to drive me to the airport in the morning. What a guy! Just a really genuine person and a true entrepreneur. In terms of the vehicle (2016 Porsche GT4), he took great care to ensure the car was well prepped and in excellent condition. Couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend Govan and 409 Performance Cars!

The experience of purchasing a car from 409 Performance cars was truly exceptional. To say that Giovanni and Dillon are two of the best people in the car industry that you will ever meet is doing them a disservice as they are two of the best people you will ever meet period. They were accommodating and generous with their time, upfront about the issues and truly a delight to deal with. My new-to-me BMW convertible is just that much more enjoyable because of the them. I would not hesitate for an instant to buy a car from them again.

Didn't purchase a vehicle but these guy's were incredible to deal with. Regardless of the fact I wasn't purchasing, they took the time to show us any vehicle we wanted, and answer any questions we had. My friend ended up buying a lexus and he said it was the best experience he had dealing with someone. Definitely the place to check out if your in the market for a high end vehicle.
