A Mart

Prices are not very competitive with other Korean grocery stores. Very expensive and owner was not friendly when asking about products.

Update: They have improved immensely. I am glad this business reacts to reviews.

I called today to ask if they had stock of something. Called 4 times. First 3 times they just answered and hung up the phone on me. 4th call some guy answered and was very rude. I asked if they had stock he told me I need to call back next week and he is so busy with a customer. I said we'll I'm a customer as well what about me? He again was like well we so busy I can't help you. I asked is it because I'm not Korean? He mumbled something in Korean and hung up on me. I'm guessing was swear words or something. Terrible customer service. If your so busy hire more staff. Won't be back here ever again

The cashier was extremely rude and aggressive. I felt like I did something really bad, only what I did was asking a simple question. I'm not a person who expects cashiers to be kind nor friendly but she treated me like an ignorant person. I was stupid that I couldn't say anything at that moment, because I was really really embarrassed. She ruined my rest of the day to thinking of it.
Feel bad there's only one Korean mart in South, but there are better alternatives in Calgary and actually worth it to go further. And one more thing to add, last time I heard she was gossiping customers to other customer. I recommend that behave yourself at A mart, especially in front of the cashier.

Useful small shop for specialty items! Great for grabbing frozen fish ready for sashimi or sushi.

Glad to have A-mart in the south area. Lots of choice and price is reasonable. Like their sliced meat for hot pot with right price. Spend quite of bit money every time shop there but it worth for every penny. And the shop is CLEAN and well organized and easy to find what you want.

Mart products are okay. The staff is too strict about using the bathroom. Especially when people are from far away and try to use the bathroom before they hit the road. I understand the Corona situation but that's an excuse. They contact more people while they are moving around. I'm from out of town, so I spend hundreds of dollars each time I visit, but I don't think I'll go there again because of the poor management and service.

Good Korean/Japanese supermarket near heritage park. But, to be honest, emart near Westbrook area is just a little bit nicer to shop at since it's more organized and cleaner.

This place is amazing. So many options, a deli, beauty care section which I don't get to explore.

This food store not only selles food, but they share love, hope, and joy to the world (or should i say it shares these to people who knows it?)

Nice little place. Reasonable prices if you want to cook korean or japanese food. I get my beef marrow bones for bone broth and roasted bone marrow dish here. Quality meat cuts.

Brought back great memories of our time in Ulsan S Korea. Good selection of products and friendly staff. Definitely going back.

This is a small but solid Asian market in the SW. They carry mostly Korean and some Japanese groceries and you can get Asian greens and fruits here (i.e. Korean pears, grapes, sweet potatoes depending on season, bean sprouts, radishes, etc). For those who have never tried Korean sweet potatoes, try some as they sell roasted sweet potatoes right in the store, and oh boy they are super sweet and soft! Totally different from yams so trust me and give it a try. If you want to make your own Kimchi from scratch, they got everything you need here. Also sell some ready-made kimchi and other Korean side dishes in small quantities. It also has a separate butcher section and a Korean cosmetic corner, even carry some Korean bakery items and odd household items like small ramyun pots and metal chopsticks (love them!) Pretty convenient one-stop Asian grocery shop and the price is decent if you get stuff on discount. Definitely way cheaper to get seaweed and other Korean staples here than to order from Amazon or Walmart. Nice little gem

5 stars grocery store for authentic Korean cuisine ingredients, sauce, paste and snacks. Highly recommend their rice cake (on your way out), freshly made daily. One-day old will be on sale for 1.99, but it's hard for me to tell the difference.and I could hardly get those on sale day old rice cakes.

Great store for many Korean shopping needs like different kinds of sauces, noodles, rice cakes, veggies etc

A Mart satisfies my craving for all things Korean. I make it a point to check their flyers on their website every week. This week I decided to make some cold noodles and it was so delicious. You may want to watch some YouTube coming here so that you know what you're going to be cooking.

A Mart is a great store, very good prices on produce. The meat cuts are very good as well. Staff are very friendly here.

Loved it! First time there and felt like I was in Korea. Clean and neat place. Everything was named in English too. To top it off, I found vegan Kimchi!

This place is the BEST you can get kimbat for a very fair price and if you can't find instant noodles that are good this place has guaranteed satisfaction for food one tom my mom tree out a bag that I put my retainer I put in since I was eating but once we realized that it's in the trash we were already in the mountains my mom was very angry but she called the place and told them about it they knew it was very expensive so the head cashier went through the trash and found it this place is unlike any other if you go to Walmart or superstore they will never do that for you VERY SATISFIED

So unkind lady work there! I asked some stuffs, she doesn’t even know how to answer. Been there few times because that was the closest one from my place but always been unkind. I guess have to go NW one now.

This store is handy as hell for those of us who love Korean and Japanese foods and have a heck of a time finding tye ingredients to make them lol. Sometimes pricey and be careful of some of the icecream products as they may have thawed and refroze however overall we have gone dozens of times and it is great!

They have mostly Asian products in here.my go to whenever I don't wanna drive down to the north. Plus they have korean beauty products that were very affordable as well.

Excellent selection of Asian goodies from baked goods, to produce, fresh meat, snacks and even Korean beauty products! Very conveniently located off Macleod:). My family enjoys shopping here!
