The A mart is amazing it has everything you need for making Korean food and Japanese food everybody is very Friendly

I love this A Mart - it has all the hard to get things from Korea, Taiwan, China, Philippines and Japan and fresh Asian style vegetables that you can't easily find in supermarkets. Getting there is easy as it is conveniently located and has a fairly large parking lot (well, not that large but you can find a space there with medium difficulty).

This is our go-to grocery store for Korean food and ingredients like meats, kimchi ready to cook Army stew, fresh produce, roasted sweet potatoes, frozen desserts, frozen Abalones, different varieties of ramen noodles, and many more! They also have kitchen stuff like clay pots, grills, induction stove, etc. A lot of Japanese items are available too like ponzu sauces, wasabi, noodles, nori, condiments, curry box and more! Parking space gets crowded on weekend, so better come on weekdays. There are a few Korean restaurants within the complex too!

It's pretty good to have this downtown. They have most of the Asian stuff you'll need, and more than just Korean groceries. Staff is very helpful if you're looking for stuff.
The produce is pretty good as well, I find most of the stuff I need.

Great place to find korean/asian ingredients and delicacies. They have some new deals every week and staff is helpful when needed. They have great prices on fruits and vegetables although variety may be a bit limited. I recommend trying any of the korean snacks when possible, some of their flavors are pretty unique.

Too excited. Forgot to take picture. My son just moved here for his first year uni. He is craving for Japanese natto. We found it from this Korean grocery store. For those home sick Asians, you can find the comfort food here. We bought 2 packs of natto at ca5.99 … and we also got a jar of Korean yuja-tea (mixing it with hot water). It’s very popular throughout Korea especially in winter. We are not Koreanbut love this drink. It will be great to have it for the winter in Calgary

My favorite Korean grocery store in Calgary! They are a franchise with several locations in the city. Additionally, they make many of their pre-made foods themselves, such as: kimchi, other preserved vegetables, Korean side dishes, pork bone soup, marinated meat, sliced pork hocks, etc. I highly recommend checking these items out! Their selection of Korean instant noodles, spices, sauces, frozen foods, an imported packaged foods is also excellent! Only complaint is that the store itself is relatively small, and thus cramped on the inside.

Went here with my gf to buy a few things for dinner. It's a nice korean market with great deals. You just have to look for them. Staff is friendly and helpful (obviously a plus if you can speak Korean) but they cater to all people equally.

Good selection of nice Asian snacks and grocery. It's too bad one of the cashier totally made the store unbearable. I didn't speak her language and she made it seem like I was stupid.cashier was not very helpful.

Great selection of ingredients, snacks and packaged meals for such a small store. It's a convenient location, decent parking and favorite place for me to shop.

This specialty Korean market has lots of goods that are hard to find elsewhere! Only just discovered this place, and will definitely start visiting regularly.

Not sure why there's an "A" mart, "E" mart and "H" mart all primarily selling Korean staples. Nothing wrong with A mart, but the other two had a better selection and seemed better maintained.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Overpriced grocery items, but what can you do. We don't have enough competition to create any kind of price war. They have you by the you know what. I try and go to T &T market, and whatever they don't have, I'll go to these Korean rip off stores.
I wish we have more affordable options here in Calgary when it come to Japanese ingredients!

Small Korean grocery chain inside the strip mall. It is great stop for any unique ingredients for Asian cooking. There is also a small cooking appliances section which is great for Korean cooking.

Great selection of different types of Korean ramen. Their homemade kimchi is delicious as well. I bought a small jar to try and came back to buy a bigger jar the next week. Friendly staff.

Nice little Korean Market. They have the best quality beef and pork, they also have pre marinated BBQ Pork and other dishes. A go to place for me when I am looking for Korean or Japanese cooking supplies.

Cute little shop and has its character.parking can be an issue so don’t come here on weekends or rush hours.a little pricey but hey it’s downtown

Such a cost effective place for groceries. You might not find your standard stuff but they have a quality selection on mushrooms.

A specialty grocery store in Korean and Japanese cuisine though leaning towards Korean. They also offer in-house meals and side dishes that are take-it-home-and-cook types as well has housewares to add to your Korean and Japanese pantry items. Well connected as they also provide smaller mom-and-pop businesses that fulfill orders like rice cakes and street food items in their store.

It looks like this store has been transferred to Amart I think that's how they call this store. They always have fresh products, welcoming and kind staff. You ask anything they will be happy answer your questions unlike Emart. Highly recommended Korean mart

You hear a lot about stores being xenophobic, but this store is very accepting! I went here with my Aunt (who is a regular shopper) with her daughter, and it was a very enjoyable experience! I'm coming back soon!

But I've only been there once, so it may just be me.but I seriously think it's great. In fact; it's one of the best Asian stores I've went to!

Get greeted when entering the store. Workers are nice.

Wish there more parking spot tho

I came here to pickup the 2x spicy noodles. I am Caucasian and I have never been in an ethnic store like this so it was interesting to see the selection. I wish I could cook Korean food well. I will stop here again when I have a recipie. A little expensive though I find.
