I came here to get my vacuum repaired and it was such a pleasant experience I had to post a review! They immediately diagnosed the problem, told me the price to repair (very reasonable) and told me it would be repaired in a day or two (which it was). They also told me why it broke in the first place and showed me how to properly use my vacuum to hopefully avoid a future repair. Extremely friendly service, highly recommend!

Maybe the best service I have ever had. I was looking for a vacuflo, carpet/hardwood cleaning head and wands. I looked on Amazon and the products were expensive, needed to be purchased from two manufacturers and I was not sure about the fit and quality. I dropped in to A Vacuum store at 130th in Calgary. They had exactly I needed, great quality, all the items fit well together and the pricing was well below Amazon. It is great to find a family run businesses that does everything right. Thank You. If I could give this family owned business more than 5 stars, I'd rate them a million stars. My boyfriend Brian is obsessed with our old Dyson and was upset when it stopped working. We called around to a few places and requested a quote and every place was charging way more than what this shop offered us. They had our vaccume for over a month but that was our fault for losing two pieces. The repairs were done but the vaccume wouldn't have been able to start without the two missing parts.
Instead of them telling us that we were hooped and to come pick up our vaccume and pay for the repairs that they did, Silvia and Vlad went above and beyond and found the exact parts for us so that our vaccume would work again. The vaccume is also so old that even Dyson stopped carrying the parts. Vlad also replaced some minor stuff and didn't even charge us for it. Both of them are very knowledgeable and honest and we will definately return should our Dyson break down on us again. We highly recommend coming here. The vaccume also looks brand new! We are so so happy and appreciative. We wish your business nothing but great success. Thank you both:)

Sorry for my procrastination, I’ve been meaning to do this for over a year now. I’m just not a big review person. I have a Dyson stick vac that was having issues with the brush staying on while vacuuming. I brought it into the store even though they don’t sell or typically service Dyson’s because they don’t have the parts to service that brand. The guy in the back who does the repairs looked at it and figured out what was wrong. He didn’t have the pieces to fix it but with his knowledge he was able to fix it anyways. It still works today over a year later. I wouldn’t recommend buying a Dyson stick vac, but I would recommend buying whatever these people sell because they know what they’re doing. The best part was, they didn’t charge me for the repairs, which I could not believe. I’m not saying they would do that for you, but they did it for me, probably because he was able to fix it without any parts required. Thanks again guys! I will be back. When is Dyson finally craps out for good. Steph

I can't say enough about how exceptional the service at A Vacuum Store is. They pride themselves on being a family business and they truly deliver in the quality of their customer service. I've had the pleasure of dealing with Sylvia both times I've had to go in for service and advice. She is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a great resource. I wish all businesses gave customer service of this caliber!

Had a obstructed intake port. They cleaned it out and got me back on track. Did not charge me anything.

Took a couple of my vacuums here as I had heard great things. Nice family run business that went above and beyond with my issues! Will be getting my other friends and family to bring their vacuum needs to this location!

Top notch customer service! We stopped by just after they closed. She noticed and came out to the parking lot to call us back, quickly got us what we needed.

I absolutely love this place. From the moment I walked in I had the most friendly and kindest lady greet me named Silvia. I honestly loved talking to her and found her extremely knowledgeable about everything vacuums and steam cleaners. My cleaner was broken and I brought it in for service. She was able to easily explain the issue and show me how it would be fixed. Because of the amazing service I came back when I needed a new vacuum cleaner for my new home and she was able to find me the perfect vacuum for all my needs I love it and so happy I didn’t just buy a dyson like I normally would have. They have amazing service and warranty on their work and products they sell. I recommend everyone to support this amazing family run business. They are so kind and honest.
