We called Dean on a snowy Sunday morning because our tenants called saying the furnace had broke.
Dean was super responsive, arrived at the property quickly and was able to give me an update with all my options in a very short time.
We did reach the conclusion that the furnace needed to be replaced and Dean offered to get that done for us on that same evening!
He was able to get the unit and his employee and get everything up and running that night and with a totally reasonable price.
I highly recommend using Dean services, I know I will whenever I need something in the future.

HORRIBLE Company, HORRIBLE Staff. Do not use this company!

We contracted AAA to install a new AC unit that we purchased through them. Started out well but problems started on installation day and did not stop for months. AC unit was installed on the wrong side of the house, which resulted in holes in our house which were never properly repaired, only covered up by vent covers. Used our bedsheets from the linen closet to clean up water in our Mechanical room and they just left them there on the floor. Ended up cleaning up after them everywhere they went.

AC unit quit working and needed parts immediately (1 month of use), despite being a new unit. Based on all previous problems, we were offered an upgrade to a "much better" unit. After accepting their offer to upgrade, we realized that the upgraded unit was the unit that they originally quote us on and were supposed to install in the first place. This means that they installed a lesser unit without making us aware of any changes or offering a price decrease. This could be considered by some to be CONSUMER FRAUD. In the end, we ended up with a better unit but this was after hours and hours of fighting back and forth.

Dean is a mess and his staff do not speak highly of him directly to the customer. To quote one of his staff "I would never hire Dean or AAA to work on my own house".

I have never had a worse consumer experience than AAA and I hope that they do not put anyone else through what we went through.

Call them for the first time because of hot water problem it took them the nxt day afternoon to arrive unannounced. When they take a look at the heater clear a plastic near the sensor said it plastic ok they make it work it took them less than 10mins and there gone thats 200$ for taking a plastic. Unfortunately a week later it happen again same error code when i called them again the guy will call me back in 5 mins waited for 30 mins no callback, called them again the same guy answered told me he's gonna call me back after a couple of min because he has an incoming call. NEVER heard from him again untill now.

Don't call this company there they charges so high and there gonna let you hanngin!

I called someone else they come in my house in a flash tell me the reason the error code happens and did not go untill everything is ok
. And he only charged me 120$ for everything.

Dean was so helpful fitting us in Sunday and helping us with our furnace issues.
He was professional and fair with his pricing. Highly recommend.

I called Dean about our hot water tank that was malfunctioning. Rather than take easy money for a service call, Dean gave me simple instructions to fix the system myself. It took all of 10 minutes. A BIG thank you to Dean for saving me $$ right before Christmas. It was unnecessary, but greatly appreciated!

Probably the worst company ever!
Even their experienced Employee do not know what they are doing. Hired them to diagnose a heating system. An employee name Dean, came to my house and unscrewed few bolts telling me from the top of his head that I have to changed the whole system with out a proper diagnose or check out. As I could see he was lost and did not know what was wrong with heating system. The Employee quoted me insane amount of money to replace the heating system which was double amount of other company quoted me. I did not listen to Dean and did my research, since it did not seem to be a big issue, I watched some YouTube videos and solve the problem myself. Thanks YouTube!

Again, to all the residents of Calgary and surrounding areas, stay away from this company. They do not know what they are doing.and do not waste your hard earned money.

I'm not one to write reviews, but Dean at AAA, went above and beyond, and truely deserves a shout out. We recently had our furnace cleaned by a different company. All seemed well, until it started getting colder, and the temperature in our house started to drop. Being away for work, we weren't aware of the issue until a Saturday evening. The other company was "unable to help" until Monday, if they could slot us in.

On a desperate whim, we called AAA. Dean answered the phone. Also unable to make it to our home that evening, he went the extra mile by kindly, simply (I know very little about furnaces) and efficiently talking me through how to troubleshoot, and 9 minutes later, fix the problem. I've never been given better customer service by an establishment of which I technically wasn't even a customer.

Thanks to the kind actions of Dean, our furnace works fine now, but you can be sure that the next time it needs servicing, cleaning, or inevitably, replacement, we'll be giving AAA a call to get the job done.

After being given the complete run around for 2 days by a company I have dealt with for 30 years I called Hot Water Tank Calgary to see if they could install on new water heater the same day. The fellow on the phone was so courteous and knowledgeable and promised his team would have a new one installed for me that day. Jason and his crew showed up as promised and quickly dismantled my old water heater, installed the new one, cleaned up extremely well and within 3 hours from start I had hot water again. I had complete confidence in the installation, they performed their safety checks and provided an explanation as they went. The customer service from this company was second to none. They deliver on their promises and do a superb job. I would highly recommend them and I will be using them for my heating and A/C needs as well.

I just had a new A/C unit installed. The guys were a pleasure to have around. Everything was left clean and looks clean after install. They weren't rushed and did a super job. Very pleased! Thanks again guys!

I have had a great experience with AAA heating and Plumbing, from start to finish it was red carpet treatment. I needed a high efficiency furnace and financing fast. Dean said he could get me both and I could choose my repayment terms very long or short if my credit was good. I was able to be approved for financing online the same day and booked the install for the following week. Dean said I would get great warranties and a new thermostat with my heater and a free humidifier as part of a promotion, wow. His Installment team were on time, professional, very polite and they worked quickly to remove my old furnace and install the new without leaving a big mess and they made sure to protect my floor and stairs. The furnace decided to stop working on a cold day. They were able to have someone over to fix it within a couple of hours. Very professional and quick service. I will be using them again.

You guys saved us! We returned home last night and found our house to be an ice cube with a broken furnace. We called almost every company in Calgary and they were the only ones willing and able to help. They helped us troubleshoot issues over the phone, then got Dean out here first thing today with everything we needed. My furnace broke down in the middle of winter and I had to get it fixed right away. Dean was quick, and a couple hours after I phoned the furnace was back up and running. Despite being an emergency call after hours, it was cheaper than I expected. Thanks Dean!

My hot water tank stopped heating late one afternoon Luckily I found Dean, and in less than 14 hours he replaced the thermalcouple and I had hot water again.
He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
I will definitely use him in the future.

My furnace went out overnight. Dean was able to come to my house within the hour and identify the problem, replace the part, and quickly get the furnace running again. He was very professional and courteous and the fee for the emergency service call was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend this company!

Met the team at the home show and liked the little things that they did for their furnace installs: having a curve at the bottom of the air intake to direct air into the furnace, having the A/C coils up higher above the furnace to allow access to clean, etc. The equipment looked great too.

The install went well, they ordered the wrong part and came back the next day to finish up so it would be perfect.

They did have an issue reinstalling my humidifier but they came back to fix their error without complaining.

Our furnace went down in late October when the temperatures were dipping below zero. We had used Dean and his team years ago when we first moved into this house and had been more than pleased with his services. In fact, the week before, our daughter's furnace also needed replacing and recommended AAA Heating and Plumbing to her. She was very impressed with their service as well. It was the following Sunday when we had to call Dean for our own furnace trouble. Dean came out to our small town that very evening. He assessed the furnace and we
decided to go with a new one as the old one was very old indeed. Dean and his team came out 2 days later, early in the day, and installed the new furnace. It was up and running by noon. My family used this company to fix tripped furnace. Ended up with $1,700 bill - charged 600% mark up on parts and replaced perfectly working blower. Got offered $150 back to remove this review, I'd rather keep it.

Installed hot water tank. Very professional and efficient. Hot water is good exfoliates the skin and opens up your pores. Sometimes i shower with cold water but that isn't relevant to this review. You want to know speed? Does the hair beat the turtle or the snail beat the hare? Guess what.this man changed my hot water tank before the race began! Is that cheating? No, its speed my friend. And the whole time he's slapping magnets left and right while he tells me secret information from his mind palace, full of HVAC and Plumbing knowledge. Thanks for the great service will call you when I need to get more heat in my home.

Friday afternoon we discovered our hot water tank’s blower had died, leaving us without hot water. Of the 5 companies we called on a Friday afternoon, Dean was the only one who could get to us before the weekend, and gave us the full run down of our options in a clear no pressure manner.

Went with the repair route this time, but will definitely be in touch with Dean when it comes time to shop for a replacement tank.

In October 2020, after heavy snow, when our home heating furnace was not working, I called AAA heating for an emergency service. Mr. Dean Fleming responded my call and visited our home within one hour. After his diagnosis of our home heating furnace, he suggested followings two options.

1. Repair 13 years old heating furnace or
2. Install a new furnace with long warranty.

After discussion with Dean about price and future benefits, we decided to install a brand new heating furnace in our home. Mr. Dean and his team arranged temporary heating system at our home by providing couples of room heaters. One day later, they finished complete furnace installation including necessary ductwork. It was really hassle free one stop service!

During that time, I found Mr. Dean and his team was very professional, reliable and knowledgeable about installation of HVAC systems. I strongly recommend AAA heating and plumbing services for installation/repair of any HVAC and plumbing works in Calgary, Canada.

Our furnace had stopped functioning due to an electrical issue. AAA quickly identified and rectified the problem. At my request, AAA also did some preventative maintenance.

My hot water tank needed replacing so I called AAA Heating and Plumbing @ 10am and a new hot water tank was installed by 3: 30pm the same day. The service was fast and Dean was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone requiring a new water heater. During the recent heat wave my 8 months old boy struggled a lot to stay inside the home. I was referred to this company through my friend and I ended up installing 14 Seer AC upon Dean's recommendation. Their workmanship was great and I was thankful for their great work ethics to get the job done right rather than finishing the job quickly for the next one. Lance was a great engineer who helped install this massive condenser outside seamlessly. Thank you all very much for your effort during that hot day!

Had the AAA Team come over to the house following our Hot Water Tank on the verge of not working. As Hot Water is a necessity, AAA scheduled us in ASAP. Within 2 hours of being on site, they removed the old tank, installed the new one and now we can get hot water without me having to go and do it manually each morning and throughout the day. They did a great job and customer service was fantastic.

Dean and Vaughn replaced my leaky hot water tank with a much more up to date unit. They were easy to talk to and were dog friendly. The price of the installation was made clear before any work was done, they answered all of my questions, and included maintenance advice. The work was done in the space of an hour.
Friendly cool guys who were happy to make conversation.
They will be back next week to replace my broken humidifier.

We have used Dean several times before. For everything from emergency repairs to lately a hot water tank and furnace replacement. Dean and his crew are always responsive and easy to work with.

Dean has come to us twice for issues related to our hot water tank. He came once on his day off, making an exception for us. He came another time on the same day that we called him, even though his schedule was already totally full that day, he fit us in and came to help. He did a great job, was very nice and knowledgeable, and definitely one of the hardest working people I know!

We found AAA Heating and Cooling a fantastic company. They did everything they said they would, all the guys worked so well together. There was laughing and joking and it made you feel they were having fun not working. There was no yelling, arguing or swearing. Everyone was really pleasant and did not mind answering questions. Vaughn is a very likeable and nice man. He’s also very knowledgeable and gave us a real sense of comfort in the fact he knew what he was doing. Dean and Vaughn are a great team. There were no unexpected costs which almost always happens. We had one small problem after they installed the 2 furnaces, hot water tank and humidifier and they came our right away to fix it. They are honest and hard working bunch of guys. Jen in the office is very easy to deal with and a bit of a character in all the good ways. Thanks to all of you for making this big thing a very pleasant experience.

My furnace died on me during the cold snap in February. Dean provided me with much needed heaters until they were able to replace the old furnace. Great service and installers were friendly and I believe did a great job. Unfortunately, since the furnace was installed, follow-up service is non-existent. I have called Dean several times in order to complete the service with the inspection of the new furnace and have not heard back from him. Very unhappy with the lack of completing the service.

After confronting them about their estimates for parts being too high, the contractor assured me that these are the fairest prices and I would have a lot more problems if these parts aren't "official". After showing him links to same parts for cheaper, he assured me again that I can try that but it won't work and I'll waste my money. Our furnace needed urgent repairs as the house was freezing.

After everything was settled, we asked them to leave behind the packaging for the parts. We looked up the same parts with the same serial number and these parts and turns out they upsold us roughly 400-700% on these parts.

I understand that this is a business, but charging us $150 for a $25 part is just ridiculous. When we approached them with this issue, they offered us a $150 discount, on an almost $1600 service. The discount barely covered ONE of the overinflated parts. I would give 0 stars if I could, will NOT be using these guys again.

Update - After conversations with the city we finally found an individual that understood the severity of AAA Plumbing & Heating not pulling a gas permit. This would now be the fifth time the company was contacted by the city and we believe, in a forceable manner to resolve this problem. The permit has been issued which would never have happened without the caring individual that works for the City of Calgary.this took a lot of time and effort on our part so please, do not allow companies to do this to you. The cost would have been between $500 - $2,000 to have an outside company inspect and pull the permit. Do not use this company because it drastically lacks ethics, safety but has a endless supply of lies.

Company did not provide gas permit as per City of Calgary by-law.

AAA Heating and Plumbing supplied and installed a new furnace for us on March 29,2021. Any company that does the installing is required to pull a gas permit.

We were advised this was done and the city would be sending an inspector out. After three weeks of not hearing from anyone, we contacted the city and were advised that NO permit had been pulled.

We reached out to Dean, the owner, 7 times through April 22,2021 to May 27,2021, with no response other than ‘I will send you the permit number’ which has never happened. It has taken days and sometimes weeks to receive any reply from him and all he states is that he will send the permit number.

A company that has no care or concern for the safety of their clients should not be in business. This can be very dangerous and could cause injury or worse - death.

This company also operates under ‘AAA Heating and Cooling’ and ‘Climate Change’. Companies should be transparent and respect the well-being of their customers and AAA Heating and Plumbing has shown they don’t care about customer service or customer safety once they have been paid.
