Accel Physical Therapy and Massage

I had major shoulder and bicep surgery done. Through the team at Accel with their work, encouragement (and disappointment if you don't follow through on your own at home work) my arm is as good as can be considering the surgery.

First I can never give 5 star review because their is always room to improve. However if you want a place that is friendly and is dedicated to your recovery this place I highly recommend. Tegan Rose is an exceptional at what she does. She is truly invested in your recovery, and is compassionate, personable and knowledgeable. If you need any type of rehab I would look Tegan Rose up without question. Her continued pursue of knowledge and certifications to broaden her scope of expertise tells me she has a strive for excellence. While taking your Rehab to the next level.

I've been to multiple other places in town and have never been treated like I was here. First visit was nearly 2 hours and not because I had to wait, but because of a proper assessment along with great treatment. Ashleigh was knowledgeable about my condition and knew exactly what was needed to help me. I suffer with constant back pain and left feeling better than I have in years.

Best physio practice I’ve been. Being a veteran I’ve been to many physio offices during my time during and and after my career. Being undersized but strong I would regularly be chosen for positions normally saved for much bigger soldiers. All that eventually came crashing down. I had developed severe c-spine nerve impingement that was causing a lot of pain & weakness in my shoulder for years, other places simply just treated the shoulder and gave me exercises to do, which made it worse. Once meeting Ashleigh he sent me to get a nerve conduction test to subsequently get the ball rolling on surgery, successfully repairing my neck and allowing me to be able to lift, paint, play sports etc to basically get my life back again. The whole team is amazing and would highly recommend them to anyone that can’t seem to get a handle on what is wrong with themselves or better yet make it your first choice to find out. Great place to go for your physical therapy needs! They do a lot more than just heat and those electrodes on your injury. You get real therapy that really helps!

The great folks at Accel have been putting me back together for years, after several sports injuries and a few accidents, I've been able to heal completely and continue pushing forward in life pain free!

I have been coming to Ashleigh for a year and a half. My back has been hurting for 5 years, and I had surgery last summer. I have been dealing with ongoing back pain for 5 years straight. I have been to many physio therapists that had no relief, but when I came to Ashleigh my back is starting to feel better and I hardly have any back pain. He is absolutely amazing! He truly cares about his patients and gives everyone the best care. You always feel like you are heard, cared and treated with the best care and treatments. I highly recommend him to anyone! The other staff are all so friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for an amazing physio place I highly recommend accel physio therapy.

Always have a Great experience at Accel! Ashley Whiffen had fixed me up after a whiplash injury, as well on-going care from a physical job. Very knowledgeable, and really cares that the patient gets better!

The atmosphere at Accel is always so friendly and welcoming, it's a pleasure just walking in the door. Ashleigh is such a nice person, I can tell that he truly wants to help me and fix my issues. After seeing him today the back pain I went in with is completely gone, I'm excited to continue with treatment.

I found out about this place two years ago through a friend that highly recommended Accel. Customer service is the best and have always left relieved of pain. Wont go anywhere else and I have to mention Ashleigh and his knowledge. Walked in recently on short notice because I tweaked my back so bad i couldn't breath right. I have booked an appointment for today Jan 27 at 5 pm for Physio. I got a call around 1: 54 pm saying that my appointment has been canceled. I got surprise because I had planned and scheduled my work and meetings for this. They should have called me earlier at least. Disappointed.

Ben is the best massage therapist I have ever experienced, he has the perfect blend of strength and technical aptitude. I am a bigger guy who does physical labour and have been getting massages for over 20 years.

I was recommended Accel by several people. I've gone a few times in the past month, for a couple different issues I've had for a long time. I've learned a lot about causes and treatments for things I would have just assumed were normal, and continued to go untreated. Very happy with service I've received so far and recommend Accel to you.

Accel Physical Therapy and Massage gets me lifted. After rehabbing 2 significant injuries here, I feel like an Olympic ‍️ Gymnast, and the best part about this is that I never was an Olympic ‍️ Gymnast. Thanks APT&M! Anyways, I’m gonna go pommel horse the pommel horse now.

Worst all around Customer Experience from front desk to management. I went in to have a massage done. The front desk lady quickly got my benefits information and loudly announced that I had to give her my second benefits - when I had a question about what the process was. She was snappy, snarky, and impolite. I brushed it aside. I had my massage with a gentleman, which was great - no complaints. Booked a second appointment. I left after they said everything went through.

I have received 4 different calls, voicemails, and now a fifth contact, (4 months later), an email by Amanda Croucher, their assistant manager advising me that the information never got processed correctly and that my benefits paid me out directly. I have an inkling that the front desk personnel never processed my information correctly. Either way, I mentioned that I did not want to deal with them again, and I had cancelled my second massage follow-up appointment due to their unprofessionalism. I called my benefits provider who reassured me that they never processed the claim and that it was never paid out to me.

Their organization is unprofessional with greeting, processing claims, and now the fix-up. Receiving phone calls at work months later on an issue that was theirs to begin with is terrible to deal with. I've received no sorrys, no apologies even after letting them know about their front desk /office issue.

Avoid the hassle and avoid Accel Physical Therapy.or it will 'accelerate' you into an unnecessary headache.

PS. I answered the phone calls each time minus once where they left a voicemail - with the exact same answer that I never received money from my insurance. Don't believe the response they responded with - Amanda and the team at Accel are just blatantly lying now. Learn when to stop harassing. Own up to your mistakes which are definitely human error.

Heard about this place via word of mouth and can't recommend it enough. Friendly environment with excellent care and attention to detail.

I have had so many issues due to bursitis in my hips. After receiving treatment from Yvonne Sanche the tingling in my leg stopped. Highly recommend.

They know what they are doing here. They have solved several sports injuries for me. However, it is a business so sometimes you may not feel like you are these n focus because they treat multiple patients at once.

I had a great experience with the massage therapist, Benjamin Williams. Ben is very knowledgeable, passionate about work and always go an extra mile to help - he certainly wont waste your time. If anyone is looking for RMT, consider him before moving to anyone else. The only down side is that it is not easy to get his appointment.

Angie Martin did miracle on my jaw that was cracking for over than 10 years. Very professionnal and honest people that will tell you what they can really do for you or not. Would recommand this place to anybody

Been seeing Rob macswain. All I can say is simply amazing! Switched to Accel when I was not happy with some of the other results I was getting from another physio place in Edmonton. I fractured my ankle and needed Orif surgery and required couple of pins and a plate. I was worried about returning back to running and strenthing it. I would get a dull shoot pain around the ankle when I did single calf raises or tried to run. With his knowledge and experience I was able to make a full recovery in a very short time. It's not just some normal physio. It's someone who has a great knowledge of what they are doing to help you rebuild yourself. I don't really do much of these reviews but I was so impressed with results. Thank you Rob and Accel physio! I will recommend Accel to anyone now. If I could give 10 stars I would.

If you are injured whether it be sports related or anyting else. Go here first. Do not waste your time any where else. Matt and Justin are the ones I've went thru during my injury. I have no complaints.

They take the time to talk with you, they keep the place light with lots of banter, with so many people there recovering from painful injuries and treatment it is nice that they distract with the banter but still offer professional treatment, Patch Adams of Physio.

So happy to find a place where the whole staff acting in a professional manner, excellent service, and physiotherapists with highlight Knowledge in their profession.
I had years with neck and shoulders pain, and in this place I finally I found relief for it.

Julia is incredible, my rotator cuff felt so much better after just one session. All the staff at the front desk are super sweet and helpful. Wish I had come sooner! Highly recommend.
