Doug and his hardworking crew removed 17 sixty-foot poplars at the end of their life, bucked them up into firewood, chipped all the branches, and cleaned the whole jobsite like they were never here - all before lunch time! We couldn't believe our eyes! He replies quickly, practices good safety on the job and has a great team. We highly recommend Ace of Trees! Thanks Doug

Ace of Trees did an amazing job, they took out three large trees in less than an hour and the stumps were ground out in half an hour. The cleanup was so fast and efficient. They were a great team and I would recommend them to everyone, Oh and their pricing is terrific, I am so glad I made that cold call. Great job guys!

The crew cleaned up nicely afterwards and left with no debris laying around. Very satisfied and I will use this company again when the need arises.

We've used Ace of Trees multiple times over the past couple of years and every time Doig and his team have been super professional, super friendly and have done excellent work. Very happy with every experience and very highly recommend them for all your tree needs.

I am thoroughly disappointed in the professionalism of this company. I called for a quote and they advised they would be out in 2-5 business days to look at my trees. They are one of 4 companies I have contacted for tree removal, and they are the ONLY one that chose NOT to contact me in anyway prior to arriving for the quote - no call, email, or text to let me know. Instead, as I was not home at the time, they chose to enter my backyard without my knowledge or permission. Had they called, I would have told them that my dog was back there, and they could instead view the trees from the other side of the fence so my dog could not escape, or to come back at another time so I could secure my dog. Ultimately, they opened my back gate without my knowledge and allowed my pet to escape. Luckily, a friend who lives 10 houses away saw my dog running past her house with no leash and her husband was able to grab him. She called me immediately to let me know. She then called me two minutes later to advise me there was someone from this company in my backyard - I had NO idea. In this entire time, no one from this company phoned me to tell me my dog had escaped. I was driving at the time and could not safely look up their number, so I called when I was able to pull over and saw that they had ALREADY SENT ME A QUOTE - Before calling to let me know what happened. If entering properties without permission and sending quotes for service before informing me they'd lost my dog is the way they run business, it would be safe to bet I am far better off with any other company to take down my trees. Do Not Recommend.

I was all set to add another happy rating, but it didn’t turn out that way for me. People need to show up when they say they will. I was given a decent quote by ace of trees but my tree needed to be taken down before I could get them to come in, so we did it ourselves. I asked them for a modified quote to come in and remove the downed tree and stump. They kept saying they sent it to me by email but I never got one. We agreed to a price over the phone and they said they could do it two days later. We agreed. They then never showed up and didn’t bother to call me. Ok, I understand it was short notice and hard to fit in. But if you don’t think you can do it, don’t take the job. At the very least, give a person a call if you’re not going to show up. To make matters worse, we rescheduled them the next week to come in, confirmed the night before that they were coming, and they didn’t show up again. Nor did I receive a phone call again. Unbelievably unprofessional and now I’m way set back in time on getting this tree off my grass and killing my lawn. Really disappointed.

Since I cannot reply to the owners reply, I will simply say I have a history of accurate and honest reviews. If they never book by phone, they need to have a chat with their staff member who did it twice and even confirmed the night before that they were going to come the next day. Thankfully, the owner has deleted their diatribe response of pure misinformation they posted and put in something a little more respectful so I won’t bother with anything further.

Seems like a decent company but we had a quote done for our condo complex and it was so confusing and riddled with options that it was virtually impossible to understand. They seem to be about 20% higher in price than other companies which is not necessarily a bad thing, problem is, you don't really know what your getting and there are no recommendations that will help you understand if you need to contract for any of their optional items. All they need to do is to provide clear, concise and thoughtful quotes. Unfortunately for us that was not the case so we went with another company and are extremely pleased with the work they did
