Seamus and his team are great. Been coming here for years and always trust my repairs will be done correct on my vehicle.

I am very picky with who works on my car, and I fully trust the guys at Adair Auto. The whole crew is honest and knows what they are doing. They aren’t the cheapest, but I’d say you get what you pay for. They are priced fairly for the quality of work and attention they bring. I will gladly bring my Acura TL-S here for anything it needs.

My suv broke down while I was driving to Calgary sunday night from out of town. Adair auto got me in first thing Monday morning and had my vehicle repaired ready for pick up Tuesday evening. Their service is truly exceptional and honest. While the broken belts were being repaired I had asked about transmission service that was suggested the last time I was at Mr lube. The tech assured me it was not necessary at the moment. The pricing for the unscheduledwork was more than fair. I will 100% use this shop in the future for regular service on my vehicles as finding honest and professional service and techs is challenging. Thank you again for the assistance and amazing service.

Recently had our Sonata inspected and repaired at Adair. Fantastic customer service, fairly priced with no upselling, did a great job and it was done quickly. Would definitely recommend them to friends/family.

No one was able to take my car in for the next 2-3 weeks except Adair! They had it in the shop Friday and fixed by Monday morning. Reeve was super friendly and knowledgeable and they have reasonable prices, I will definitely come back again.

Sean and Seumas of Adair Auto were recommended to us by family and we have no regrets. The best customer service we’ve ever experienced! Friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and much cheaper than dealership had quoted. Loved their use of before-and-after electronic photos of work – no other place we’ve taken our vehicles to have used this method of seeing for ourselves the work needed and then the completed work. Their website also says they offer a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty. We would highly recommend them and definitely give them 5 stars.

Love this place and highly recommend it to everyone. The customer service is amazing and having a electronic report was a nice feature and getting a complimentary car wash was divine. Never felt like I was push to execute unneeded services unlike other places. They were honest on what is critical and what can wait a bit more.

I brought my car in with 6 different things wrong. They were able to track down and repair the problems in an expedient manner and at a very reasonable price. Art this time they were able to supply me with a loaner vehicle which made the experience a pleasure to do business with them. Unless I'm not in the area no one else will be allowed to work on my vehicles

Fantastic shop, very honest people and they tell you everything they're doing without trying to confuse you while explaining. They won't try to hustle you or sell you on a service you don't need, or play up other minor problems that they find while they're fixing something up. First time going there. Staff were very pleasant. I thought it was rather expensive but I've not had that job done before so really have nothing to cost it too. My car seams to be behaving much better so hope it was worth it. Would I recommend them?

TL; Dr: texting me to make sure my car is running smooth makes the experience interpersonal and you feel like your more than just a customer.

I have my own mechanic that I've been going to ever since I my first car. But, he doesn't do AC. I went to these guys, to see what they could do. I could afford the fix, but I knew the estimate was honest because my mechanic told me how much it would cost on the worst case scenario. Well my AC problem is in the worst case scenario and not worth fixing. I just have to accept I've my suby is getting old. She still purs under the hood and that's all that matters. I opted out from going ahead with the fix and they did not push anything down my throat. Now I'm in Ottawa doing my masters and got this text, trying to figure out who this is and why they are texting me. When the lightbulbs went on (I just woke up) I texted back commending them on checking up on their customers like that. I still like my mechanic, but I also understand how busy we all are and never would expect a check up like this, especially since I ended up not getting the part replaced. Honestly, it's that small extra step easily overlooked, that restores a sense of community in this world of driven by cold and distant business is business. Business isn't just business it's also personal. When you take care of the small things, the big things will take care of themselves.

PS: don't tell my mechanic I cheated on him. It was an exceptional circumstance.

Sean and Seamus, as a customer without experience going to many other mechanics I was pleasantly surprised to receive a quote just a little more than half of what I was quoted at the dealership. I was told the work I needed done would take 1 and a half to 2 days. Work was completed on time in addition to a small issue that came up during the fix, still for the number of the original quote and my truck feels like new! Will be back with any other problems I have.

We have a 2006 Sprinter that needs some TLC every now and then (~250k Km’s). Seumas and the gang at Adair are great. They have always taken great care with the van and only do what needs to be done. They use top quality parts and my van has never run better. I would definitely recommend Adair Auto for any of your vehicles.

Staff at Adair Auto Repair have worked on my elderly truck on several occasions. They explain their diagnosis and details of work required with respect to cost and time. Each time I have had repair work done, details are reviewed with me before I pay the bill. They are professional and make an effort to ensure I am comfortable and understanding all details.

I found Adair's Auto Repair over 10 years ago and have been taking our family's vehicles to them ever since. These guys are the best! They are professional, personable and honest. The quality of work is excellent and Seamus, Sean, BJ and Bryce (when he was there) always take the time to fully explain all the work they do and most importantly why it needs to be done. I appreciate this because in my experiences with dealerships, nobody would explain the mechanics and workings of my vehicles and used my lack of knowledge to do work that wasn't necessary. The guys have also gone above and beyond in helping my family and I with vehicle emergencies and purchases. Adair's is my #1 stop for all things auto!

I would definitely recommend them for brakes and think they were fair and trustworthy. - Edit: Since my initial review I saw that Adair auto has quoted me some very expensive numbers on replacing a water pump on my car (much higher than the Lexus dealership). I have since changed my review to reflect that experience.

Edit: I was quoted $1,400 by Adair, $1,200 by the Lexus dealership. I ended up getting the work done for $700 at Convenient Auto Services. I wont be using Adair ever again because their prices are ridiculous and the location is inconvenient.

I live in BC and am looking at purchasing a truck so sent one there for a prepurchase inspection and their customer service was good but when it came to the results of the inspection, not only was I disappointed in how they relayed the information to me but I felt they were looking to swindle business.
The truck I sent in was a F350 Diesel that had just had a service done a week before, in preparation for the sale (I did not relay this information to the shop) and on Adair's inspection they recommended a full service because the oil was "dirty/dark" and said the same about the other fluids. They also told me the pinion seal "may" also have a leak and it was suggested that it be cleaned and monitored, there were another few small defects expected from a vehicle that's almost 6 years old, all major components passed with flying colors.

I listened attentively and before the conversation ended I was told that I had not been billed yet because they were wondering if I wanted them to price out parts to fix the defects (couple light bulbs, window motor, brakes along with a full service). I declined explaining that this was a prepurchase and as long as nothing on the vehicle is damaged to to point where it's unsafe to drive then I would work something out with the current owner.

I promptly sent the inspection to my neighbor who is a mechanic specializing in diesel vehicles and he was perplexed by how exactly they could tell if the oil and fluids were dirty if the motor oil is black and brake fluid is dark as well. There were a few other red flags he brought up that were definitely signs that the shop was taking advantage of the fact that I am a woman and I don't know much about vehicles.

The service was great but I feel this shop was trying to drum up business by making things seem much worse than they were and by promptly trying to take advantage of my hesitation by saying don't worry, we can get pricing on all of this stuff and have it all fixed. I bet you can. Thank you but no thank you.

I would not send a vehicle there again.

The guys are friendly, knowledgeable, and provide us with a fast service. We took our Ford F-150 to swap our tires and to get wheel alignment done. We are very pleased with the service. Highly recommend them!

I have been a customer at Adair Auto for over four years and their service and workmanship has been phenomenal. The service has been professional from the service advisors at the front desk, followed by the technicians doing the diagnostic and following up with completing the work. I have had three vehicles that work was completed and i have never had to return the vehicle once the work was completed. The communicating between the service advisors and customer while the work is in progress is updated throughout the duration off the job. The technicians are knowledgeable and up to date on current technologies. I took my vehicle in to Adair Auto for the very first time because they were close by and i thought i needed new brakes for my 2008 Lexus. After the vehicle was in i was called and they said i did not need brakes after all, rather there had been an accumulation of rust that merely needed to be cleaned out and removed. Must say i was pleasantly surprised at their honesty as they could have easily sold me new brakes and made much more off of me that day, but they did not. Thanks for your honesty guys and will definitely be coming back to this place now with both of my vehicles and would for sure recommend anyone to do business with Adair Auto:)

The backup camera and trunk lid button of our 2008 Infinity G35X stopped working. Adair Auto Repair checked the car over, diagnosed the problem and provided options to repair it. The work was done on time while the costs were as we expected and a small fraction of what the dealer repairs would have been. Thanks for a job very well done!
