The work was subcontracted out to Sargeant's Roofing and it was completed quickly in one day but there was trim missing in several places so the plywood was exposed. I had to call Gil at Advanced Roofing a couple times to get Sargeant's back to the house to fix the trim. However, Sargeant's didn't bring enough trim so they took the trim from one part which was hard to see from the ground and then left that part uncovered. I called Gil to complain but he never returned my call. The experience was severely disappointing.

I contacted them due to the sun tunnel constantly leaking (they were the original installers for the roof and this sun tunnel according to the home builder documents) and they said it was moisture buildup and I needed more vents. Okay, I proceeded with their suggestion now it leaks much worse than it did before and they are basically pushing it back on to contact the original home builder as now they believe it’s the insulation in the attic. I believe they should’ve been honest from the beginning that it’s someone else instead of have me install vents to not help at all!

They did not clean after themselves very well and now we have black spots all over the concert on the deck and around the house, the eavestrough have black spots as well.

Requested an online quote on June 18th. Heard nothing from the company so I called back on June 20th. The receptionist said that she would have a manager call me back today. I still haven’t heard back from the company (July 06). Poor customer service. I finally received a call back today from Gill. He was extremely helpful and informative and took the time to explain his thoughts on my issue. He explained that I have a unique roof and what to look for (have a small leak in the garage). This happened when we had all of the rain and wind. He said it could have been just the way the wind was blowing the rain. Because of the call back I have updated the rating. If I do need a new roof in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to call Advanced Roofing now that I have spoken with someone.

Advance did a really great job on our roof. We are 100% satisfied with the work they did. We had a number of quotes from other reputable companies as well before deciding on Advance and the choice we made was well worth it.
