We have had many home inspections over the years in different Canadian cities and Advantage Home Inspection (Kyle Goudie) is a notch above the rest. Kyle made room in his busy schedule and was available for us even though we had not secured the home until the last minute. He is professional, dynamic and interactive throughout the several hour inspection and in his notes and report. He knows the real estate business which also comes through in his assessment which we found invaluable. I recently purchased a house and Kyle was able to conduct the home inspection. He is certified to do a WETT inspection and also has the ability to do a sewer scope.

I was very pleased with how thorough Kyle was, and he was able to catch minor issues/concerns that are easily overlooked. He was happy to provide insight on how to fix/maintain things around the property, and also had recommendations for professionals if it's too big of a job for a layperson.

The report Kyle provided was very helpful as it had an index, it was colour coded to indicate the level of risk, included pictures, and highlighted things to maintain.

I'll definitely recommend him to others.

I’m a first time home buyer. Kyle was awesome. Kyle is very detailed and through with his work. He noticed the smallest details like a loose toilet and silicon where it was needed in the shower. Kyle went over regular maintenance things that I should do like changing the furnace filters 3-4 times a year, how to clean the air purifier system, turning off the garden hose water line in the fall. Very impressed with Kyles work highly recommended.

Kyle went above and beyond what I expected and ensured not only was I educated on the house but also maintenance and future upgrades.
