Affordable Elegance Wedding & Event Rentals

Charged 33$ for a day late in delivering back chair covers. They close at 4 and arent open in weekends. Cashier lady would not waive off the penalty.

For a 188$ 1 day rental, the late fee is crazy high.

Would not recommend to others or do future business at this place. The lady who I spoke with initially when paying for the rental was nice.

Mel and her staff Are an absolute lifesaver when it comes to event planning and getting rentals etc. This is the only company that gets my business for personal events, company events, volunteer events etc. Customer service and pricing is great and beyond expectations every time.

Great experience dealing with Melanie. She was very patient with us to find a replacement piece, calling suppliers and trying to get us the product we were looking for. I would definitely recommend chatting with her for your event needs!

They were the perfect local suppliers for my wedding in 2016, and not only that, EXTREMELY helpful and patient in helping me locate a replacement champagne flute from our wedding that I accidentally broke. Cannot recommend Affordable Elegance enough!

We paid in full befor the virus and the owner agreed to full refund and then a email showed up saying that we would only get 20 ish % back.so ya not to happy with this place and would not recommend them.pretty low of them

Put a deposit down for event rentals prior to COVID, but once COVID hit my event, which was a baby shower, was cancelled. I returned to get rentals for the rescheduled event, which changed dramatically due to the baby being born and the social gathering rules so needed much less for rentals. Was told the balance between my new rentals and my previous deposit would not be refunded. I haven't run into this issue with absolutely any other companies, including the "non-refundable" deposit I put down for the venue which was absolutely returned in these extraordinary times. Feeling as though AE is taking advantage of the COVID situation and refusing anyone refunds, only allowing those with deposits down to have a credit, which I was told was their contribution since even that is against their contract. Am willing to change my review if owner Melanie agrees to refund the balance of my deposit and will have some integrity in this situation.

We rented some stuff from these guys for our wedding and I Will not be recommending them anymore sadly. Everyone we had helping me for our wedding that had to deal with them were upset because of how rude they were.not one person (there was three or four) who went there said the staff was very rude and unfriendly.

The booking was easy and the arch was beautiful, but days before our wedding they told me the arch was damaged (leaves were ripped off) but they never gave us a discount and we added our own flowers.

Sadly disappointed, my initial experience was great but then my (now) husband showed up at the hall with totes of cream coloured table cloths that were definitely not the white we had ordered. Minor detail the show must go on, I then find out the arch way we rented was broken and barely patched.still paid full price for our experience though, a full week in advance like they require, which was ample time for them to tell me I would not be receiving the white I requested. How do I know this wasn't just their version of white you may ask, simply because I had received three crisp white glaringly different table cloths in the lot. My husband and his father practically begged not to go back there after being treated so poorly. It really was a disappointment.
