Worst experience upon entering the restaurant. The servier was extremely rude and asked us to leave. I will never come again to this restaurant and never recommend to anyone.

I recently revisited this restaurant after a five-year absence, and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was not only incredibly delicious but also beautifully presented. The flavors were just as satisfying as I remembered. It was a delightful dining experience, and I can't wait to return.

I had a disappointing experience at Afghan Chopan Kebab today. The lady at the reception was incredibly rude and arrogant. She accused us of only wanting to use the restroom, which was not the case, and treated us with disrespect throughout our visit. It was evident that she was more interested in listening to music than attending to customers. Unfortunately, we were denied service, and we left feeling like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. This level of customer service is not what one expects when dining inn or take out, and it left a sour taste in our mouths.

I felt there was no credibility with customers.

The food was very expensive.

It was a bad experience.

I found a small hair in my food. And when i told him about the hair…he said it was from the Ac which makes no sense at all, they weren’t even on and said they had cameras in the kitchen.we knew he was lying because it was very clear it was a hair. I didnt want my meal for free i just hated how he lied about the situation. He tried to change the subject and make stupid jokes. And also our food was supposed to cost $50 for 2 plates! But he charged us $64 and said it was taxes. Which was another lie…Horrible experience unfortunately.

This is an update of my review. With much sadness, I must say, after coming here all these years, today I saw a different side of the owner. From the very beginning, he was very rude. His rudeness started when we did not order as he suggested. I have read some reviews about the owner's bad behavior. I was trying to overlook this, but today it was too much. I have a 3 months old with me. After placing the order, he told me I cannot have the stroller inside. When I asked him why, his reply was the stroller wheel is plastic made and it carries bacteria inside. When I said it's the same as my shoes he said "No, the shoes are different, " but the stroller goes to the same place where my shoes goes. He made up an excuse saying that it's the city bylaw (edmonton) to reduce the use of plastic, which is the most ridiculous thing I have heard in a long time. He was just discriminating for i dont know what good reason. I have called the city at 311 right away and asked them about the bylaw. They said they did not have any bylaw of such.the city bylaw is for reducing use of plastic plates, cups, bottles, and utensils.

I always try to support small businesses. It makes me sad to give this type of review.but when I pay a premium price, I expect a bare minimum service. I don't think it's fair.

Mostly arrogant and rude attitude. Against customer service ethics. Not welcoming behaviour. We were shocked and upset.

Food was not bad big portions but owner was rude.yelled at my kid for just touching his decor.not recommended.

Food was not good i ordered chopan kebab which was $35 and monto $19.99 kebab was born i said to him he said no its OK because he don't know what is kebab and he said he is not afghan i don't know he charge me $71

Owner was very polite and gave us some wisdom. Food was great and portioning was perfect. Would recommend.

This is one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! Had the chicken tandoori and it was amazing! The owner Mohammed was very kind and we had a great conversation with him. Will definitely be going back.

I ordered kabuli Palow, fries are cold. Rice is ok but meat smells. Service is not updated.

I had a very bad experience I ordered a dumplings was different from the one I usually order and test very bad, I called and they told me it's my business and yelled at me and they didn't want to return or even apologized, very bad service and worst customer service, food test horrible, I don't advise people to go there
