Albany Veterinary Clinic

Amazing experience this past week with on call vet. I had to get my dog checked due to a situation that happened with my dog. Had to have emergency surgery. Was done the next day after her vet visit.
She was shown loved when she was there. As everyone loved when she was there.

Being in a new city as someone with vet experience can make choosing a new clinic hard. Albany VC did an excellent job addressing all my concerns in a kind and patient manner!

One of the best Veterinary clinic, I have ever visit very supportive and friendly people. They moved to a new location which is more spacious and easy to access.

I will forever take my pets to Albany vet clinic. The Dr’s are all so helpful and really care about your pets. Great staff! Highly recommend

What a friendly atmosphere! I called to make an appointment for our fur baby to get his vaccinations. They were able to schedule us in the next day.
The veterinarian is very thorough and explained any concerns we had.

Recently switched to Albany as our dog was terrified of our previous vet (even though he was kind and patient) and it made for a stressful experience. Our dog seems to love Dr. Cecilia- I was so amazed when she went straight over to her, tail wagging and eagerly accepted treats at our last appointment. We have now been in for two different issues, in addition to annual check-up/vaccinations, and both times, Dr. Cecilia was helpful, & thorough, without trying to push any expensive tests/solutions. All of the clinic staff are so friendly and kind, and we received a follow-up call each time to see how our dog was doing with her medication. Thank you, Dr. Cecelia and team!

I have a senior dog. At his previous vet, we often left feeling unheard, and uncared for. Even though he's generally in good health, as he ages I do get worried. I was reluctant but I finally made the switch to a new vet closer to my home. From the moment I first called to see if they had any availability, I felt that I was being listened to and given compassion. We worry about our pets, we have to be their voice sometimes too. The reception, the vet techs, and the veterinarian all made me feel very confident that my old guy was getting the best care and attention. Everything was explained to me clearly and I never felt backed into a corner on making a decision for treatment.

I can’t recommend Albany enough. The support and care they provided with the sudden loss of one of our dogs was beyond our expectations. Thank you so much for all that you do to support our animals!

They managed to fit my dog in immediately when she was very sick and provided excellent treatment. Dr Cecilia always listens to my concerns and provides excellent care to my dogs. I’ve been going here for several years and all my interactions with the team here have been excellent. They are consistently friendly and professional.

Thank you Albany vet clinic for getting my Thomas the cat in so swiftly on a emerg visit. My clinic and many others were unable to see us. Albany vet clinic got us in quickly, all the staff were so friendly and beyond accommodating, they made our visit so easy. Communication was top notch. Think we found our new home for our pets needs. Thank you all so much again.

They take such great care of my dogs, with endless compassion. Glad we have such and excellent place to care for them.

So happy we found this clinic. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We switched to this clinic and our senior dog has been seeing Dr. Cecilia. She was very familiar with his type of medical conditions and treatment required. All options were throughly discussed with no sales pressure. Our dog had surgery for a lump removal. They did a great job and were very helpful during the healing process. I really felt that they went above and beyond.

It was the most compassionate veterinarian hospital I've ever gone to. From the vet right down to the reception. The fact that they came to my house when it was time to let my baby girl go was an amazing service they offer. My cats are patients there also. I'll never go to another vet.

Hi! We love Albany vet and all the staff. My cat chester had an eye/ear issue. The front desk ladies are super kind and get you in for a quick appointment, most the time for the day you call or after. Doctor Zandi (not sure how to spell) explains things very well and his directions are easy to follow. He gives many options not just medically but for prices as well. After my cats check ups and surgeries the front desk ladies always called to ask how Chester was doing. We recently came in for a small wound and Doctor Zandi remembered me and chester. I believe the prices are fair as the service is very high. If you want a vet who is knowledgeable, easy to work with and cares about your pet as much as you do Albany vet is an excellent choice.

Definitely can feel the love of the creatures they care for.

We've been active clients of Albany since basically their first day, when Dr. Cecilia came to an adoption our then-rescue was having and took us on a tour, and was so excited about this new chapter of her veterinarian journey.

Since then, Dr. C (as many of the CaliCan Alum have endearingly called her) continues that enthusiasm and drive.

She works knowing veterinary medicine is expensive, and most folks are honest, hard working, paycheck-to-paycheck pet lovers. And often, those smaller budget efforts work.

She and her team enjoy having their clients (hooman and animal alike) visit, and make an effort to know you.

She has cried with us when we've lost dogs over the Rainbow Bridge, cheered with us for treatments that worked, and has been immersed in the I going proactive work to keep pets healthy.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, the doctor's too are very informative and caring to our fur babies. They do follow up after procedure and making sure everything is alright. They are a gem in our community.

We spend a lot of time back and forth to the vet with 5 pets, and I have nothing but positive things to say about the Albany vet team. All of the staff are incredible, and have always gone above and beyond to give the best care to my fur babies. We have especially bonded with Chivonne who is so kind, bubbly, and welcoming. From simple check ups with my happy-go-lucky pup to the more advanced visits with my nervous pup, and the cats in between, we have always felt our animals get the best care in the city here.
