Super happy with my experience. I had him recolour my 20+ year old figure skates. It was a ton of work and I am appreciative of the time, effort, and end result. He clearly takes pride in the quality of his work and his craft.

I brought in new shoes to have rubber soles applied to them. The service was great and I am really impressed with the finishing. Overall a wonderful experience!

I brought in a messy pair of roughed up work blundstones and I came out with a brand new shiney unrecognizable pair. This man is a magic maker! Amazed at the transformation and same day service too! I highly recommend this man for any of your repair and renu of your favourite footwear he even makes custom made belts too! Re did the toes, heels and freshened up my Granpas old Cowboy boots. Good as new and they are 40+ years old

I am utterly impressed with Ahmed’s skill set. We brought in three pairs of boots. All boots look amazing. He repaired the heel on one pair and they are now better than new. He totally restructured a pair of knee high leather boots that were way too big and it is totally unnoticeable that they were altered and they fit amazing. He is also very friendly and personable, and his prices are fair. Highly recommend!

Great service, super knowledgeable, and fair pricing. First time having some boots worked on and the staff were clearly experienced and helpful without being condescending. Very honest service, will be back if I need anything else worked on.

I brought my boots in here that I had for 10 years. Stitching deteriorating around the sole in several spots. They fixed them right up. They look amazing! No longer leak in any spot. The owner and Manager were very pleasant to deal with. I was definitely happy with the outcome and would highly recommend them!

If it could give zero or a minus I would. I spent $120 6 months ago to have an old favourite pair of shoes resoled. They told me when I took the shoes in no problem we can make them like new. 6 months later I take them in cause the sole is coming off and they say it’s not his work and I don’t remember properly. Shoes are old and are garbage now. I say why didn’t you tell me 6 months ago they were garbage before I put $120 into them, I would have bought a new pair then? They say get out of my store or I call security. I wasn't looking for confrontation and was looking for a resolution and was willing to pay for a repair. Essentially don’t waste your time with an exceptionally rude owner who just wants to rip you off.

I was VERY pleased with Khaled’s work. He re-soled my Red Wing boots and they look great. He also had to do some extra work on them, which he did at no extra cost to me. I very much recommend St. Albert Shoe Re-Nu.

Extremely happy with the service and craftsmanship. I have had my boots for 20 years and had them resoled before. Shoe Re-Nu is more expensive but you get what you pay for! Experience and quality is worth it!

I had two pairs of shoes repaired and they did an excellent job. They were very prompt and the shoes were ready for pick up at the quoted time. Will definitely avail of their services again.

I had new soles put on my boots, and a purse strap shortened. Excellent work in both cases, and very friendly service, with a smile:)

Was extremely pleased with my experience. My daughter needed new riding boots right before a horse show so no time to break them in. Took them on a Wednesday morning and they stretched them and had them ready Thursday morning. The stretching was not at all obvious and they still looked brand new.

I’ve heard nothing but great things about this shoe repair place. I had some blown out stitching on pair of my red wing boots and decided to try out this service. I could not ask for better service and craftsmanship! This place does nothing but quality work! He was also able to repair my boot on very short notice. The cherry on top he installed a brass rivet on the part of my boot that has blown out on previous red wing boots for extra durability. I will definitely be using this service again in the future. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to get quality work done on their boot a shoe needs!

I just brought a pair of high heeled shoes and asked if they could be made lower. Kal did them for me and they are perfect, he’s very friendly and great quality work done. Would highly recommend him and St. Albert Shoe Re-Nu!

I was greeted by Ahmad as I entered the shop. He was pleasant and able to offer me options to fix my favorite winter boots. I agreed to have him replace the zippers in both boots. The zippers are smooth and my boots look like new again. I would recommend this service! Thanks again Ahmad.

Got my birk boots resoled. They were almost toast. I was glad they could save them as they are my favorite boots. They all so had to reshape the foot sole. This was done for me for free.it was done supper fast and easy. I will be back forsure.i was glad to see they were open in this crazy time

Brought in a pair of winter boots to get calf adjusted. I was very skeptical about getting it altered. Boot was bought on line did not want to be bothered with the hassle of returning so I decided to gamble. I talk with shoe maker asking him if I would be happy with finish product he said definitely.

He gave me his words on timing and cost ect. So I decided for him to proceed.

When I went to pick up finish product I was pretty satisfied, was professional done like new coming from factory.
He was very much with his words on timing and how he would make me happy.

Came in the get one of my favourite belts fixed and he did in record time and made it look brand new! Definitely the right place for the job!

I drove in from Andrew for errands and on a whim popped in to see if they could "save" my tired favourite leather boots. Not only are they able to, they explained what my options are and associated costs up front. Professional, charming and excellent workmanship. Hard to find these days but worth the drive when you do!

Hi went in to have a pair of winter boots re-laced. It was a complex ask as the laces are not your normal set up. He went above and beyond to find away to make it work.

I have been going here for years. I have never thought to write a review.
I simply needed an eyelet replaced on my boot. I asked if it could be done quickly. Even though he was busy, he readjusted and helped me out. I always find them very friendly and helpful. They are always honest about what can and possibly can't be done. The quality of the repair is better than new. The price reasonable for the work being done. I recommend them to everyone. Very professional service and always friendly.

I had a pair of 50 year old moccasins that needed special care and attention, they are very dear to me. Care was taken and a great result the outcome, thank you so much.

I have been taking Coats, Boat Covers and shoes/ boots to be fixed and repaired and/or stretched for many many years. Always awesome service and great attitude. Was always told up front what to expect in the repair and feel the the prices are very fare. I am not a throw it away type of person if I can find the right perfect place for repairs.

Took my cowboy boots in after scraping them on my bike. They brought them back to new and shine them up absolutely recommend!

Replaced heel tips on 2 pairs of shoes. Matched the colour perfectly. Very personable owner, responsive in terms of time lines.

I was very please with Kal's work on my shoes. I have one leg a bit shorter than the other and Kal added height to my two pairs of shoes. He was able to get the materials very quickly and had the shoes ready before my vacation.

This is one of numerous times over the past 10 plus years I have used this business. I have had shoes, purses and other bags repaired here. Most recently yesterday. The gentlemen was polite and explained to me exactly what he needed to do. I can sew but I never would tackle this as I attempted and made an area worse. He not only enforced the areas but fixed my error also.peace of mind for me. I am happy that they are still in business and will continue to use them. They know the prices of items and have been honest with me in the past if it wasn’t worth fixing, never any pressure. You may take it elsewhere but I really believe you wouldn’t get the same quality of workmanship and customer service. Bravo Shoe Renu!

I’m not usually one to leave a negative review at all, but my experience at this business has left me feeling harassed and nervous for any young woman that stops by this place.
I went in on a Saturday, the owner wasn’t wearing a mask. He looks at me smug and goes “I’m getting to see all the beautiful women today. ” I brought in boots that needed the zipper seam resewed. He wanted me to try them on and while I did he asked me how old I was, and that “my boyfriend must’ve been undoing the seams on my shoes” while his hands lingering on my ankles. He also tried to get me to take my face mask off to see how young I looked. When it came to the pricing he charged me twice as much as the other repair shop, and decided not to charge me tax because he “said so”.
A couple days later I did not feel comfortable coming back in to pick up my shoes so I sent my father, but unfortunately only the owners wife was working that day.

Great customer service. I wish I can give more than 5 stars for their service. I had a pair of cowboy boots and they were in a really bad shape, and I dropped them off and got them fixed within 2 days and they did an amazing job, they totally look brand new now.prices matches the great job they do.

Excellent workmanship at a reasonable price and my sandal strap was repaired while I waited. Received great advice regarding a Samsonite laptop bag on which on strap let go. We decided it was well worth repairing. I might add that the service was pleasant and courteous. I have lived in the area for 30 years and have always been satisfied with the various repairs I have had done at St. Albert Shoe Re-Nu.

Expensive and poor quality of work. Took my cowboy boots here to get the heel fixed. When I got them back the heel was an inch higher than the original and did not match whatsoever. It was like I was walking with moon shoes. Will never go here again.
