Pleasant administrator, polite and neat students. And to be honest, for the first time in my life I didn’t have my hair pulled out. I was satisfied.

My barber, Laurie is not only skilled but also takes time to understand what I want. Her attention to detail is truely amazing. My haircut is really beyound my expectation. Highly recommend!

The setting was very friendly & welcoming. My hairdresser Allyanna did an amazing job, she had creative control with the cut today. 10/10 experience, I loved the atmosphere.

Great service. I showed up at opening without an appointment. Normally a cut takes 15 min and this requires an hour. The student asks several times for the instructor to ensure all goes well and the instructor does some minor adjustments. In fact i asked for a very short cut and the instructor and student advised against it several times. Glad i listened as it looks much better than my way from other experiences. A clean spacious low key place. Completely FREE.although if you are happy please TIP. Note limited street parking.

Very happy with the cuts on my curly boys hair. They do a better job than the quick cut type places for sure.

I took all three terms back to back over the winter. The bookwork is split up really nicely so it doesn't get too overwhelming, and practical learning is gradually added in later on. The instructors were amazing at making sure everyone was learning what they needed to and adapting to peoples different learning styles. Everyone there was super supportive in helping find a shop to work at afterwards as well. Highly recommended checking them out!

NOT GOOD. I came in for buzz cut make it all the same length easy you would think, but.over 90 minutes later and after both student and teacher where cutting my hair at the same time.after all that I had to pay another shop to fix what was done by the "Alberta Barber Academy ". I would not suggest anyone get a hair cut here.

Got a haircut today by a student barber. It was much better than I expected. He did his job very carefully and made sure he's doing exactly what I want. Nice environment, amazing staffs and cheap haircut.

Really disappointed with this place, previous experience was great, waited a bit but expected that, service was awesome. Shave was fantastic etc.

Fast forward to Thursday am when I came back for a second time, several students and the Master Barber were all busy working, was told it wouldn't be too long for a shave.

One student (Female blonde hair) finished with her client (been waiting for approx 10 - 12 mins by this point, was watching a Netflix movie which is why I know how long I waited).
She comes up to me and says I've already done two shaves, so I want to do a hair cut instead, so I'm going to take this person first (who showed up several mind after I arrived).

Not going to lie this annoyed me but I figured ok shouldn't be much longer, fast forward another 20 minutes (thankfully for Netflix time passed easier). Still no one finished.

Sorry but first impressions count every single time. And when you make an impression like that, now you've lost additional business and referrals as well. Your loss I guess
