This is an amazing event. The fact that I can bring my family and bond over some drinks and get everyone together was amazing. I had not only my family but my boyfriend and his friends attend as well as a couple co workers. Such a fun event and great way to get to know people and local beers/bars/restaurants in the city.
ABF events are the best! The community is great, there are endless things to see and do - so many great beers and other beverages to sample, and the food is amazing!
Lines were quick, abundant amount of craft brews and spirits to choose from. (Couldn't get to all hahaaa) met awesome people, new friends, music was lit and great time

Lots of fun for sure! Would go again but maybe not spend as much $$$$$. It is somewhat on the expensive side for tiny glasses of beer and small food portions. It seems like the vendor motivation is profits first and product promotion second.
Thank you ABF, thank you for bringing the world of craft beer to my doorstep. Just when you thought things couldn't get any better you seem to top yourselves.every year. Looking forward to the 2020 season and all the fantastic events you put together.
ABF runs Calgary Beerfest, The Mashing, and an Oktoberfest event here in Calgary, plus more beer related events outside of Calgary. The team are amazing, their events always a blast, and, beer is good.
Love ABF! They always put on the best festivals, with a wide assortment of vendors. They always provide you with the classics, as well as the new kids on the block. Purchasing tickets is very accessible and user-friendly, and the team at ABF cannot be beat!
I had been in the craft beer industry for about the last 20 years. I started brewing back in the 90, s when I was living in Houston Texas. The folks from ABF have been great to deal with.they put on very good shows that the public enjoys and the breweries enjoy working with them. Shows that I have be at apart of are the Calgary, Edmonton and Jasper show and have been to the mash in. There is always a educational part to the shows from food parings to talks from the brew masters for breweries at the shows. And you can taste cask beers made just for the show from different breweries. There can be special guests from the brewing industry. Like my person who I looked up to. Steve Dresler (retired now) who was at Sierra Nevada for many years. There can be people from malting company's or hop suppliers. So you get to see what it takes to make a beer. Out off all the shows in Alberta these are the best to go to. As a brewer you want to have a conversion with the people who are buying your beer we are very passionate about the beers we have created and want to share with the public. We do not want to be a show where the music is so loud we can not talk to the customers. When a customer talks to a brewer and the brewer talks about a beer that he created and how it was made there is a connection with them. They will always remember the time they talk to the brewer that makes there favourite beer. Hope you with check out a one of there shows. PLEASE DRINK Alberta CRAFT BEER. BREWSKI
The ABF team runs a variety of great events, from Jasper to Calgary. If you haven't been yet, and enjoy discovering awesome local breweries, I highly recommend!
Awesome events! Great selection of beer and spirits to sample and love supporting local. Their events in Banff and Jasper are great reasons to make the trip to the mountains and offer great fun in the evenings after a day of fun.
