Just had our vents cleaned and then carpets cleaned by Alberta furnace cleaning and it was a good experience. The staff was great. The vent guys were very helpful and I thought went above and beyond in educating me on my system, UV light replacement and humidifier unit and the upkeep of it. I really appreciated it and it certainly has made a big impact on the air we are breathing. The carpet cleaning tech.was extremely hard working, courteous, fast and did a great job. They also explain the pricing, over the phone, details to you so that there are no surprises and I was very clear on what I would be paying. Then both the vent guys and the carpet guy go over the prices before they start the work. So, not too sure about the comments in some of these other reviews. Very happy with the price as well. Better than most other prices in the area.

I believe deciding to use this firm to clean furnaces was wise.if your furnace hasn't been cleaned recently. After that, you might want to give your furnace a new inspection. Given the abundance of positive web evaluations for this business, it is highly recommended. It is extremely persuasive in my opinion. Their skill and depth of knowledge will wow you when you converse with them. You're not only a good business, either! Furnaces are something the squad is familiar with. Terrible customer service and an utter lack of follow-up. Staff lack passion and professionalism.

Alberta furnace cleaning missed our first scheduled appt due to the tech’s inability to use a door code and left the vacant home’s door unlocked on the completion of the re-scheduled appt; staff gave me attitude when I asked that they send the tech back to the home to lock it.

Inspection of the so-called completed furnace/vent cleaning revealed the fact that the company had not even bothered to change the original dirty filter w a new clean one.

Asked that a senior tech return to the home to ensure that the cleaning was actually completed; took them 2 days after their return visit to get back to me - and only after I had to chase them down yet again.

Nothing but excuses from this company; will not be using them again.

Seth and Kody (Service Techs) were amazing. They did a great job, did not over charge or try to oversell me anything. They patiently answered all my questions and even gave me a few tips to furnace and duct maintenance. I will use them again and I highly recommend them.

The team arrived 10 minutes early. Introduced themselves and got to work. Very professional. Setting up the appointment was easy and the office team offered great customer service. The price was discussed multiple times each time their quote was word for word. Excellent experience. I will use this company the next time the service is required.

Deana & David cleaned and disinfected the furnace and ducts including the dryer vent last fall in my home and were professional, incredibly proficient and personable. 11/10!

Was very pleased with the job done. They arrived on time and in uniform we did a walk through was explained to me what they where doing and a couple of options. Overall would highly recommend their service

Had them come at the beginning of February. They cancelled first thing in the morning because it was far too cold but did arrange to come the very next day. The guys were great and very personable. Unfortunately later that night my furnace quit working. Called and they sent a technician out and he blew off the flame sensor. Had the furnace working again but over the next weeks it would cut in and out. I called a Plumbing and Heating Company and it turned out that the furnace cleaners had left all (16) but 2 vents closed which ended up burning out the high limit sensor and flame roll out sensor. This cost me 800.00+. Not sure why they closed the vents. I would still recommend this company but check your vents to avoid a similar problem.

They broke my furnace.

During a regular ducts and vents cleaning this week my furnace completely broke. First the technician that was cleaning my furnace told me (post cleaning) that the fan sounded weird. It took him about an extra 45 minutes downstairs with the furnace to 'finish up'. I am convinced he attempted to put his mess back together. When I woke up to 12 degrees celsius in the morning, I called back saying something went awry during the cleaning service the day prior. The administrative lady got angry and told me the furnace was already broken and that I would need to pay for a technician to come see the issue ($150). I said that I WOULD NOT be paying again- and for them to send someone asap. When the repair technician got here- he did a few quick things and said the furnace door was not put back on correctly. No charge. I wake up again today. No heat.and I now need a new furnace as the repairs have been quoted to me for around $1200. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

These people were superb! They were professional, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. They were on time & respectful. This was our second time using them. The fellow in charge even noticed a $20 off coupon on our furnace from last time and applied it to our invoice! I would highly recommend. From the office staff to the techs they were all great!

Update September 8,2021: I just had my 28 point furnace tune up. The price was the advertised 129.99 and then with an additional 19.95 "eco fee" (just be aware of this). Which on my official bill charged for "Shop Materials & Travel/Disposal Charge - HVAC". The visit went as scheduled, they phoned early in the day, about a half hour before arrival. The service person (David) was very nice. When done, I didn't realize my thermostat had been reset. Then noticed that the furnace wouldn't shut off even when I turned it to the off position, and that the temperature kept rising. I phoned back Alberta Home Services who sent David back. He had forgotten to connect a wire, which made the furnace continually run. So something for homeowners to ensure they do right after the tune up (set the thermostat settings again and ensure that it's working properly). David was very nice upon return and apologized for forgetting this step.

I had the dryer vent cleaned out and AB Furnace cleaning were quick, professional and knew their job. I would recommend them.

The staffs were approachable, provided great service and insight. Went beyond their jobs to ensure I had a great experience and ensured all my questions were answered.

Very bad customer service, the lady at the phone is very rude, she was impatient and even said "Jesus Christ on the call.

Techs were good to deal with however disappointed that wall corner protection wasn't used and as a result we have touch ups in our newly built home. These marks were caused from the air pressure hose used to blow into the vents throughout the house. Feel the A/C bypass charge is gouge. Total bill came to $762.00 mostly due to the charge of $9.95 per vent

I had service done to clean my furnace and all went well. After, I was quoted from the technician a promotion. Carpet cleaning for 3 bedrooms would cost $99 plus $2.50 a stair. After booking and confirming the quoted price, on the day of cleaning I was invoiced a different price. After talking with the manager, this business would not do the service for the ORIGINAL quote. What a waste of time. They were 3 hours late anyway. I declined service based on ethics. Go with another business that have integrity.

Yes, you do go over pricing before service at my front door. This is where the error in price quoting happened. And after an hour of speaking to 2 employees and your manager trying to duck the convo, this is where I made the decision to no longer use your services.

Your manager blamed me that there was no proof of quoted price ("my employees word vs your word"). Thats on your company. You should have a system to record the quoted prices.

Nevertheless, the price difference was only 30 dollars, which I am happy to pay to another company with integrity (already have).

Just hade my ducts cleaned out by Scott and Chennielle. They were thorough and professional.
They answered my questions and provided exceptional feedback.

I called ACC to clean the stains our pet left behind, as well as a recent toilet overflow which had our whole upper floor smelling so gross. I had a younger guy come in and right from the start he was so friendly and professional. He explained what he needed to do, and even chatted Pokémon with my 4 year old son and calmed down my puppy! He was so quick, and efficient - and even better the smell and ALL the stains are gone. The company is very informative even from the first call where I got my quote. The receptionist was so kind and helpful. Highly highly recommend. I don’t know the name of the guy who did our service but whoever you are, you’re amazing!

Amazing that the service tec would blow out for the entire neighborhood to hear that we have the dirtiest dryer vent and name names and he. Will give us twenty dollars off next time. No thank you. How about a little discretion even if it were true!

Our recent carpet cleaning was totally unsatisfactory. The representative lost interest in our needs when we declined his offer of additional services - deodorizing, sanitizing, protection - all of which would increase our cost; we simply wanted our carpet cleaned and he required payment even before he brought in his equipment. We noted there were coffee spots and some stains we were unable to identify. We were informed the coffee was no problem but the other stains could not be addressed if we didn't specifically point them out and if we didn't know what they were. After the carpet dried, it looked no different than before he started. Even the coffee spots are still there. TV advertising shows carpeting nicely groomed with vacuum lines indicating all areas were cleaned. This did not happen with our carpet and leads me to wonder what he did for two hours! Upon calling the company, it was suggested I could speak to a manager who, I suspect, would offer to redo the service. Why would we spend another day in the basement while the upstairs was cleaned if their representative couldn't do an acceptable job the first time? We will not use this service again and certainly will not recommend them.

The gentleman that came in where very polite, were wearing their masks the whole time, and correctly as well! Showed me before and after photos, answered questions I had and were super helpful! Highly recommended!

Did a very poor job, vents were still very dirt when done, left a mess in the house. More dirt in the house when they were done. Spoke to the manager he didn't see to care. Very unprofessional. Cost 404 dollars for a half duplex, dont waste your money with these guys

The carpet is scheduled to be picked up and recleaned this week. I'm grateful for this response. I will adjust the review again, once the recleaned carpet is returned and I am happy with it. (this review was posted originally on 2021-01-31) I am very disappointed in the quality of the cleaning of an area rug (still shedding copious amounts of dust/dirt) and customer service. Because I was in the middle of remodelling and left the carpet in the plastic bag until the area was clean I didn't notice the dirty condition until past the 30-day warranty - which was not made clear in any communication and is nowhere in writing on the contract I was given. I am incensed that their Commitment to "TOTAL SERVICE GUARANTEE" is overridden by their invisible 30-day warranty, and that they have refused to make any concession in this case. I would not recommend them to anyone.

We had two Persian rugs cleaned here. Great service, really. I ask to speak with someone to give more info on these rugs and advice on how to care for the and they were very helpful and informative.

I had Scott and Deanna. Showed up on time they where very friendly and professional also very knowledgeable would highly recommend to anyone wanting this type of service you will not be disappointed.

Scott and Justin were very professional and explained any issues and resolutions. These could be either done at time of service or advised a window when they may need attention. I will definitely use their service again.

Somewhat disappointed with our experience with their company. I wasn't home for the cleaning but for the next week after I've been finding dust bunnies around the house and in random spots. We have a 1 year old who eats anything she finds so this has been concerning.

It also costed more than expected. We chose them because of the sale which was about $180 for the furnace and duct cleaning. We asked them do the do the dryer which was an extra $60, which is fine, but when said and done our bill was $330. All that was left was a very hard to reach carbin copy of an invoice. We have a small town house so this was a surprise.

They did an okay job (I think), and customer service was great over the phone, but we will be shopping around come next time.

Mike did a great job with our carpet cleaning needs today and he was very helpful in making sure we understood the services to be provided and the costs associated before engaging his services. Over the past several years we’ve become reliant on Alberta Home Services for several of our domestic cleaning and maintenance requirements (carpets, area carpets and furnace/ducts, etc.) and we are happy with all their service representatives. We believe customer satisfaction is very much a priority for Alberta Home Services.

We attempted to have an area rug cleaned here. After dropping our rug off we were told that it had been looked at right away, that there were only a couple of rugs ahead of us, that it would be done within 2 weeks and were provided with a cost estimate. Two weeks later we had not heard back from anyone, and decided to call to check on the status of our rug. When we called, we were told that they had not started cleaning our rug, that someone would look into it and get back to us, and that our rug would be put at the top of the list to be cleaned. A day and a half later we had again not heard back from anyone and decided to call again at which point we were told they could not clean our rug. Very disappointing experience overall. I would not recommend getting an area rug cleaned here.

The gentleman at Alberta Carpet Cleaning were amazing. Not only are they hilarious but they did an amazing job on our office carpets. I had bone marrow stained on my carpet from the office dog. They warned me that it might not come out, or that it would “wick up” but it didn’t! It came perfectly clean. Thank you so much for your work.

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that a couple small stains did not come out, although it was stated that it was not a guarantee stains would be removed. The other day Bobby came to clean my carpets. He did a very good job, was on time, easy to talk to, and made everything look fresh and feeling great. Great! They had to change my appt from morning to afternoon due to staffing issues. Technician was right on time for when they said he would be there. Bobby was very thorough and efficient. I had my carpets cleaned by Toni Chan. Toni was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He first inspected all carpets and pretreated the high traffic areas. I did not think he would get my carpets clean (Kids and dogs make a big mess), but he did! He went out of his way to ensure I was happy with the cleaning. We also just had our hardwood floors refinished (great job by Beaver Hardwood if anyone needs a hardwood refinisher) and our whole house repainted. I was concerned that the hoses may cause damage to the walls. Toni was very careful not to cause any damage to the new floors and walls. Not only did he lay down blankets on the hardwood, but he also ensured to put guards on all of the corners of the walls so the hoses did not rub or damage the paint. I would highly recommend Toni and Alberta Carpet Cleaning to anyone.

Alberta Carpet Cleaning did an excellent job of cleaning my carpets (there were a few large stains as well). My service man, Salim, was on time, very professional and respectful of my home. The edges of my walls were protected from the cleaning hose and blankets were used on my hardwood. Highly recommend this company, I was very pleased.

Alberta Carpet Cleaning was the perfect choice for cleaning our carpets & furniture.
In past we have used other companies, however this time the furniture looked new and the carpets fresh. The technician Bobby was personable and professional, in fact his work was so good we tipped him.
