Had an amazing experience with Alberta Diamond Exchange. We worked with Kristen and she was very knowledgeable, willing to answer all our questions and very helpful. She responded quickly to emails and our in person meetings were a delight.

I was in this morning with some gold, silver and? The reception is amazing and the buyer was so kind. It’s tough to sell a loved ones things but it was my father’s choice before he passed and I agreed to keep just the most sentimental pieces.

Not only did he demonstrate kindness but wasn’t bothered by checking through pieces that ended up costume jewelry.

Alberta Diamond exchange is by appointment only, beautiful and professional. I will go back for some repairs and maybe a new ring when life settles.

I had a great experience with Vanessa and with ADX as a whole. My fiance had a very specific ring design in mind. Vanessa was super enthusiastic and thorough, ensuring that our expectations were met. She worked with both of us to ensure that we were educated and were getting exactly what we were looking for. Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with and helped my fiancé and I create the perfect custom engagement ring. Pleasantly surprised at their ability to source stunning stones outside of mined diamonds. We were able to get lab diamonds and a sapphire centre stone and didn’t feel limited in our options. It took several months to source the perfect stones (we were very specific in what we wanted and were willing to wait) but Elizabeth kept us in the loop every step of the way, highly recommend ADX and Elizabeth!

Amazing service, we spent almost 2 hours looking for an engagement ring and we were given all types of information that we asked for. I've had my wedding ring made here from just a diamond I had, and I recently had my grandmothers ring made into a necklace pendant. Both experiences were amazing, the pieces turned out amazing and the whole process was super easy. They do mock ups before you have to commit to anything. Not a good experience! To get your jewelry inspected to maintain warranty (every 6 months) you need appointments and to enter the place you have to txt them to open the door for you.

I would recommend this place over and over again. I brought my ring into another jeweler to have it sized. They told me that it wasn't real. So I got a hold of Alberta Diamond Exchange and let them know the situation. They immediately brought me in and looked over my ring with their machines. It tested to be real here. Showed me the serial number. They also went a step further. They sent my ring out to a 3rd party appraiser to have it appraised. It came back as real too. Alberta Diamond Exchange has some of the best customer service I have ever dealt with. I had an issue and they went above and beyond to fix it and alleviate my fears. I came to ADX after viewing many engagement rings and not finding what I was looking for. The staff quickly fit me in their busy schedules and I was able to have the pleasure of working with Melanie. She was beyond professional, friendly, extremely knowledgable, and very genuine.

Melanie accomodated all of my requests and was able to translate the vision I had into reality. She was never pushy with the sale, and had my best interest at heart. I was very comfortable throughout the entire process as I was provided with regular updates including pricing, model renderings, and photos. Not only did she provide the perfect custom engagement ring, it was also completed $1500-2000 below my requested budget.

The whole process of getting an engagement ring is actually very daunting, but Vanessa provided excellent support throughout the process and ensured that I didn't need to make any compromises to get a beautiful engagement ring in a much quicker timeline than expected.

Right from the beginning, Vanessa took detailed notes about what I was looking for, and considered things that I hadn't thought of previously. She was able to educate me on the different aspects of buying diamonds (with real life examples to compare!) and was not secretive about where I could save money without sacrificing quality.

Finally, despite only working with one associate, it seemed that the entire team at ADX was invested in my story and I was happy sharing my engagement video with their team. I actually felt like a celebrity going back to the store with my fiancé, post-proposal - it was such a fun experience.

I would strongly encourage people like myself (who know absolutely nothing about engagement rings or jewelry in general), to go to a few other jewelers before you go to ADX so that you can truly appreciate how prepared and positive their team is.

We were contacted very quickly after we inquired about building my engagement ring. We were connected with Melissa Mitchell, who is an amazing jewelry designer, artist and gemologist. She listened to us every step of the way in the building of our custom engagement ring. She went the extra mile every time we saw her to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted- she was able to bring in gems from their supplier for us to see in person under a loup. She was supportive of our budget and didn't attempt at any point to upsell us on anything- she gave us so many options and price ranges to choose from for the band, the style and the center stone. Melissa is also a fantastic communicator, she emailed us frequently with updates on the progress of our ring and photos of the gems we were waiting to see in person. She even helped design the ring on paper so that I could get exactly what I wanted. The final product is gorgeous and was way above what I had imagined- the added bonus what that the price was just right. Melissa was diligent every step of the way in helping to give us an amazing experience picking our ring and wasn't like most jewelry stores where they were attempting to sell you on anything you didn't need. The atmosphere was professional and confortable- they offer you coffee and tea/water when you come in for your appointments. I will gladly come back to ADX for my fiancees wedding band, as well as my own. I am so glad we were blessed with Melissa's expertise and fantastic personality: D We can't wait to come back! Mackenzie helped me and gave me a 45 min education on diamonds with absolutely no pressure at all to purchase one from them. Worked with Melissa on a custom engagement ring. Melissa was amazing with me. I provided here with some concepts that I wanted mashed together from pintrest and magazines, and she was able to sketch up my vision. We went back and forth a bit and she was always super open to my ideas. We found a great jeweler and she was super willing to work with me on my price to stay within budget. Highly recommend.

I dealt with Amy C in regard to purchasing an engagement ring. I do not usually go out of my way to write online reviews but I have to say that for how much money I spent (relatively little) they treated me not only like a valued customer but more like an old friend spending my inheritance. Amy went above and beyond when helping me. She did everything from teaching me the ropes to helping me custom design my engagement ring. ADX prices were competitive and they met all deadlines promised even when I needed things rushed. They stayed late so I could pick the ring up after work when I was busy and they have a huge selection that goes above and beyond whats on the website. ADX will probably now always be my exclusive jewelry retailer even though I am moving out of province.
