This is a super cool shop that a person could easily get carried away in. They back what they sell and, if something goes wrong, they have proven that you can count on them to make it right.

My cut off saw switch was damaged and my saw was running like garbage. I was looking for a company to repair it. Alberta Forest and garden was recommended by three different businesses that I contacted.
I called Alberta Forest and Garden and spoke to a very friendly person who informed me that it is a first come first serve basis on repairs & that I would have to pay a deposit of $60 when dropping the saw off. Unfortunately, I was told that it would be about 2 weeks before my saw could be repaired. My wife dropped the saw off to them and payed the deposit.
Not even a week later, I got a phone call from them telling them that my saw has been repaired and is ready for pickup. Upon picking the saw up, my wife was given an invoice for the remaining balance. Not only did they fix the switch, they also changed the spark plug and refilled with a fresh mix of fuel (they also included the damaged parts in a bag tied to the side of the saw).
The total invoice was under $120 and they fixed it a week earlier than expected! It is getting harder and harder to find places that do not try to upsell you when you just need a simple repair done. Alberta Forest & Garden did not try to offer any extra services or parts, they just fixed what was broken and replaced what was needed. They will definitely be my go-to for future repairs after this experience.

I recently bought a chainsaw and some accessories here and didn't have a great experience initially. However, after posting a review on here and speaking with the sales manager, they corrected the issues, and communicated that they took my feedback as constructive and spoke about it with their staff. As some one who runs a business myself, I have a lot of respect for how the treated me and the situation. I had issues with the extended warranty not being added to my professional series saw, and there were some billing issues, but that has all now been corrected. It was my first time dealing with this store and had a bad impression after my first visit, but the way that they dealt with my issues has changed my opinion and I would actually now recommend this store. I'd give them full stars if the in-store experience was positive, but mine wasn't on that day. Otherwise, I got a great saw at a good price, and am now happy overall.

Absolutely love this store. I bought a chainsaw at EJ mowers and had a problem with it the first day. Ej didn’t do anything but try to charge me more money after spending 2400 on equipment they wanted another $330 for the repair rather than warranty. Brought my saw here for a second opinion and they figured out the truth fast. The whole fix is now on warranty and I’ll never deal with anyone else again. Thanks everyone for your help.

Excellent service I have been a customer since 1986. I had my 2 cycle snapper self propelled lawnmower from 1986 to 2004. I still have my reciprocator to this day. The staff are customer service ambassadors.

This place is great. I've been purchasing and servicing my equipment here for over a decade. When I was with a landscape crew, we had all our lawn and snow equipment serviced here. Knowledgable and friendly staff. Now that I own my own company, I have been purchasing and servicing my equipment here (backpack blower, snow thrower, trimmer, zero-turn mower, and all accessories / parts / and lube). Contacted this place for parts for old pressure washer manufacturers not making parts for anymore. The staff searched their suppliers and found the exact part I needed. Shipped promptly. Great service.

I needed help figuring out how to get the wire threaded in my grandfathers weed whacker. Also i had questions about the ratios of the 2 stroke fuel. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place 100%.

Go in and ask for Rick, experience and knowledge bar none! Top quality products, don't know where else your going find synthetic oil not for 2 cycle engines but specifically for blowers.

New Stihl leaf blower with warranty issues, my local dealer where I bought it could not find the issue and charged me for not fixing it. AFG found the issue and gave me a detailed writeup explaining their troubleshooting, plus took the time to chat plus we went outside upon pickup to confirm the repair. Everything from dropping it off to pickup and peformance of machine at home has been perfect. Just wanted to say thanks. Very friendly and knowledgeable and reliable service and I am a new repeat customer. Thanks again.
