I called 10 minutes before closing to drop off a sample just for them to deny me at closing i understand i was late but i called them before hand and told them i’m going to be there at closing

Wait time even with booked appointment was so bad!
I cancelled and left
Fasting senior had to wait an unsafe time

I had an appointment and was seen in less than 15 minutes. Staff were friendly and efficient

The worst place ever.it’s very bad waiting system no respect what so ever.they need more training how to do their job especially because this about health…absolutely not recommended.

The worst lab ever I visited in Calgary. The wait time was 2 hours or more and I already had an appointment because they are not organized & understaffed. All patients specially seniors were very frustrated as the place was too crowded. The stuff said they do not control booking so they are overbooked. They keep on handing us a sheet of contact to complain as they do not care.

THE. WORST. I booked the first available appointment which was 5 weeks out. I received email reminders of the upcoming appointment - even on the day of appointment. When i arrived 15 mins before my appointment, I was told there would be a wait of at least an hour an a half. They said they can text me later when my turn comes up (but do not call people in advance to let them know they are behind). This sounds to me like they are taking folks from an appointment list and putting them on another appointment list. I received a text to head back and STILL had to wait an hour. Insanity. While I was there, the person at reception was so rude and unhelpful to everyone. Most people walked out. She had no understanding that this is inconvenient and NOT OUR FAULT. No empathy. She told someone that the wait will be 4.5 hours. Have a seat. She said it like it's no big deal. 4.5 hours, have a seat. Wouldn't be able to text when turn is coming up. INSANITY. How can this be an acceptable level of service? !? I don't know what the other options are but I won't be back here again.
Perhaps they could accept less appointments? Or cut off walk in's earlier? They told me it's like this every day.

Made an appointment for July 3rd the system let me! 3 weeks …Paid for parking got there to find it closed! My husband needed blood work for a specialist appointment for Thursday (waited months for this appointment) now he will not have his blood work So unprofessional! He works to late to be able to get into a walk in appointment! That’s why I made him this one!

What is the point of having save my place if the wait time when arriving at your saved time is more than an hour and a half? This new lab system is utterly appalling

I don't recommend coming here as a walk in patient as the wait time is too long. As I am writing this, I've been here for 3.5 hours and still waiting to be called.
But last year I came here with an appointment and everything went smoothly and on time.

When I checked in, I was told walk-in wait time is approximately 2 hours and 5 and a half hours later I ask and they say “ yes we said approximately”. I would have appreciated if they told me I will still have to wait for an extra 3 hours so I can make arrangements, get some food or cancel, especially that I have a disability.

Was turned away because I didn't have an appointment. I have been fasting for this test for 12+ hours, paid $15 for parking and was willing to wait a bit longer because I didn't have an appointment. I explained all this to the receptionist who couldn't care less. They were unable to give me a single valid reason for needing an appointment. Terrible lab, terrible careless people.

Very horrible place. We came here by walk in to the laboratory and receptionist told as that we will wait aprox 1 hour. In result we was waiting more than three. I am not recommend this place.

Dynalife, a private company, has recently taken over from Precision Labs. Since then, service has been less than stellar. Compare Precision/Dynalife: P - appointment time consistently on time/D - appointment time consistently 45 minute wait; P - no pain, no bruising/D - pain AND bruising.

Showed up on time for my appointment. Waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time before leaving. Place was packed and took walk-ins quoting “an hour” wait time to everyone. Why take walk-ins if you can’t even keep your scheduled appointments on time?

If you don't have a apoiment they leave you waiting forever. It doesn't matter what time you last ate or/plus if you have chronic tummy problems. They make you wait forever.
Is better when they saying there is no apoiment.

I have very serious problems. It is not a problem of who attends, they are cordial persons.
They shouldn't say yes to walk in, They do not know the internal problem of each person. There are not enough people for the demand of people

The staff were so helpful and great attitude. Make an appointment and you don't have to wait that long. 3rd floor and very obvious direction.

Terrible place! Its hard to find! I have been waited for 1 hr for my blood test even though i booked an appointment and came there on time. Not recommend!

This location was a bit hard to find, unless you came in early and asked a few building staff on where is the lab. You have to use the elevator to easily access the lab. You can use the stairs too but it’s quite confusing with the layout of the building labyrinth. You need to have an appointment to get in and prepare your Requisition form, Health card and Photo ID for fast processing. All staff were amazing, especially Maria who took my blood work and found the time to interact with me about kids, life and greeted me a happy birthday! The wait time was kinda long (25-30mins after the reception) but I don’t mind since I’m not in a hurry anyways. There were lots of pay parking surrounding the building.

Over 30 minute wait time with an appointment. Not sure why such a long wait. However, staff are great. Blood collection was virtually painless.

I'm a doctor myself and I was here on 16th August 2021 because I'm currently pregnant in 7th month and I needed a fasting glucose test. I had an appointment at 9: 50, I came 3min late, because I was really struggling to find the lab at the building, it's just huge and not marked properly. I did my paperwork with a very nice lady at the front desk and than I waited there and waited. I don't need to say that being pregnant and fasting is not a pleasant experience, but it was also hot there and after about 25min I started to feel unwell. I told the lady at the front desk, that I need to lie down NOW, than she asked me when my appointment was and gave me some papers and the room number. Like what? Pregnant lady collapsing in front of you and you barely care? I made her come with me, I lied down and she asked if it's OK to leave me alone. I thought, she was getting my paperwork so I said yes. In 5min she came back to ask my name.after 15min that I spent alone in that room and nobody was coming, I came back to front desk and told them I needed my blod work NOW. It was 45min after my appointment, I was pregnant, not feeling good and fasting and nobody cared. I asker them for water and another lady eventually took care of me. At that point I already cried sitting in the examination room and felt really helpless. They did the blood test, I ate my müsli bar that I brought with me and went home thinking, that wasn't even possible. They were ignorant, absolutely not organised, overbooked and if I don't have to, I'm never coming back. I hope, your experience is better, but as I mentioned, I'm a doctor and this was a big no go for me.

I didn’t get the techs name that drew my blood but I have had him a couple times before. He is great. Super nice and is always the least painful/uncomfortable when I’m getting blood work done. All the staff are always very friendly here as well. Got in and out for my appointment in less thats 20 mins.

Ever wanted to make an appointment somewhere and be kept waiting for over an hour? If yes, this is the place for you!

Don't bother with this place if you can, even if you do make the appointment. Techs are unbelievably slow.

I find staff incredibly lazy and arrogant. Patients waiting there doesn't seem to prevent them from chit-chatting in a relaxed fashion. My appointment was supposed to be 30 minutes. After 35 minutes I was still in the room with nobody coming to collect my blood. I had to walk out and return to work without having done any tests that I desperately needed to get my diabetes medication.
