My father and I arrived at this facility around 1: pm where we were told to wait an hour. Not having an appointment, we were fine with that.

We travelled over to Safeway where we had an X-ray done and made an appointment for another procedure to be done at a later date.

We returned to this facility and sat outside in the car waiting for a text which we'd been told would come about 10 minutes prior to the time we'd be called.

We got the text and sat inside for another 45 minutes to an hour but when we asked about the wait time we were told we were not too far off.

20 minutes or so later we were becoming annoyed and it was closing in on 3: 00 pm.

Finally at about 2: 55pm my father was called to have whatever it was done but considering this is the only clinic of this type in this area I can only assume this was a bad day.

Perhaps another clinic near this area could be useful because there's a long ongoing theme within these reviews and they're all about wait time.

It also seems like this is where a lot of people of colour come to get care and maybe why no one is complaining to their MP, but they need to.

This clinic is overwhelmed and we certainly did not appreciate dealing with the same well known, ongoing problem.

Hi this is mesage is for lab assistant Mr nayaz I guess who did my blood test on Friday Sept 8 2023 around 11: 30 am in room 12 falcon location and asked for my number to whatsapp me about religious messages and asked me to do volunteer work at mosque n recite Quran n do research in short kindly let him now im not very religious person and i know myself when to recite n all I went for my blood test not to follow his instructions on religion not to listen, ask him to use headphones too
so please ask him delete my number from whereever he saved it as was writing on piece of paper n don't send me any messages on my number or on my whatapp or anywhere Thank you

I did not expect that there would be fraud even in the blood analysis center. A friend and I came without an appointment. I registered my name before him, and he entered an hour before me. I waited until I asked the employee. She answered me rudely. This is not my problem. It is disgusting when I see this.

This place is the most worst place and please don’t waste your time

I booked an appointment and evwn came 40 minutes before it but then when I the time for my appointment came I was told that I have to wait for another 45 minutes. In this case why do people book an appointment?

Since it’s gone to a private company, I had to wait an hour past my appointment time. It didn’t used to be like that. Thank you, UCP government for making my life worse.

They should teach their employees full knowledge about the blood testes. I asked are you covering testes by health card or not and she didn’t know. Bad experience never suggested anyone. Stay away

We are family of 4, got appointment today. We need to wait for another an hour, they said because they are behind. We been waitin For this appointment for a month. So inconvenience coz. I need to call my boss that I will be late at work. So ridiculous, we will going to find another place again not to go back here anymore

These people here take care of walk-ins. I have an appointment at 1: 10 I had to wait 1: 30 minutes for my turn because they were busy with walk-ins.

They don’t have a proper setup. They don’t understand English. The space is too much congested, people are standing. Mr. Dinesh needs to learn English.

Because of my blood work, I had to come today. This is the 2nd time come here in 13 years, otherwise, I go to Sunridge.

Better than a different location. But, GO EARLY if you are a walk-in.
Appointments are booking over 3 weeks out. Checked 4 different locations for booking.

What's the point of having so many rooms behind sitting empty when you pack everyone like sardines in your small waiting area?
Even the staff have little room to work efficiently. Messy work environment. Poorly modeled clinic.

Management needs to remodel their waiting area to hold more capacity. Doesn't take a genius to solve this problem.

Great staff, but they're always swamped. Book an appointment ahead of time to minimize your wait.

Appointment is a luxury, then it has no meaning.minimum 30 wait time before your turn comes.
Either taking too many appointment that they can handle or just understaffed to milk existing staff to last drop.

Had an awful experience with stereotyping here. The rude lady at the front desk insists on giving me instructions on a language I don't understand. She keeps repeating all of it and giving me looks of disapproval when I don't know what to say back. I just wanted to do my appointment, and move on.

Not impressed with this location. Went for a blood/urine test today. Blood test went fine with minimal waiting, after a 2 week delay for an appointment so I could avoid being a walk in (wait time is atrocious).
Had to take the urine sample cup home, technician did not provide directions on how to take the sample. I returned at 3: 01 for their 3pm close (my bad for not checking the timing) and they refused to take the sample, and only told me how to store it after I asked. Perfectly content to let me walk off because I was 1 minute late with no way to make the sample viable. Go to another location if you can where people actually care about providing healthcare services.

Don't got here they will have you waiting on line and than when you get to the front they will pull the people with appointments out line and put another 10 people in front of you. Check in everyone equally and than prioritize people who have appointments on paper. Let your people who have appointments know in advance that they should show up early to check in. Ridiculous.

Don’t bother booking your lab work here. So poorly set up. They make people line up outside even with an appointment and then people continue to come and just go in, in front of the line. No direction. Treats people like sheep. If I had the option to give this place 0 stars I would.

This place is a great reminder of why NE in general is just garbage Long wait times, old buildings, unsanitary, rude behaviour. Ahh, don't you just love the NE?

The lady on the reception ask me what time you had food last night. I told her the time. She laughed on me and then she went to another lady on the reception and whisper in her ear and make laugh of ne. I really do not understand what's so funny in it.
One should give true information to doctor that wt me learned since childhood and that's wt I do.
APL you must teach your staff to behave nicely and do not make fun of anyone. It's so annoying, disrespectful and a complete disgrace to your lab.

We went there around 9 AM. Not very crowded at that time. Staff were friendly and professional. I do have one recommendation the toilets needs to have toilet seat cover it just feels unhygienic.

I love having an appointment and STILL waiting for an hour after my appointment time. How can you be this dysfunctional

It was extremely busy.even with appointments there was a wait time of roughly 30 min, walk in's was 40 minutes. Staff were excellent at informing people and keeping things moving. Restrooms weren't great, not clean no towels for drying hands garbage on the floors.

I did a walk in testing this morning. The service was fast and efficient. The staff was friendly. It took me about 30 mins which is great for a non appointment blood test.

They are so rude and don’t know how to talk with people. Nobody was inside but still don’t accept walk-in time starts after 11.30

Extremely poor service. They don’t take ppl before 11.30 with no appointment and told ppl to stand outside in cold.where as there were very less ppl with appointments. I just came to other lab in northwest which is 30 mins drive. They are taking ppl with appointments and make line for ppl with no appointment. Not yelling on customers they have almost same space as well.

If I could give this place a zero for service I would! They allow walk-ins at 10: 30-3: 00. I arrived at 11: 15. I was given a beeper to sit in my car and told it' would be a half an hour. I waited for 2 hours in my vehicle. I came back in and 26 people had gone before me! If you can't find parking directly in front of the doors, your beeper will not beep. But they of course do not tell you that! Worst service I've ever had in my life.

All my families members like this location that more parking lot and this office staff are Professional.staffs are nice and gently, they taken blood for lab are very light hand and gently, you won't even feel or worry.

Worst experience for walkin. Gave a card and said to wait for 1 hr outside in -2°. How can they even get to this. There was plenty of space inside. What about people who do not have car in these winters. Would love to give rating in negative but have no choice except giving 1 star.

Bad side was if someone walked to the front of the line for walk ins to talk with the staff they got checked in prior to people who were ahead of them in line and had been waiting longer.

Good side was it was very inclusive to lgtbq+ and the person who processed my lab work sheets was very inclusive with me and made sure to check to ask what my pronouns were and even checked for any changes to my legal name and gender marker, they were even wearing a they/them pronouns pin which also made made feel very welcome and looked after there.

We arrived today (Saturday), 25th of September at 12: 15 pm we were told that somebody will call us, I stayed in the car with my kids for an hour and half. I went back to ask how long we will wait longer, I found out that there is a whole sheet list of people still didn’t do their tests and a bunch of people waiting outside fighting that you are taking appointments at the walk-in times. I left them and went home as we couldn’t wait much longer and still nobody called me on the phone yet. It’s 2: 30 pm now and it’s not yet my turn.
This is a terrible service and nobody is expected to wait that long to do the test. You shouldn’t put appointments on Saturdays and Sundays
My kids started to cry and I will have to do the test another day as you almost closing now.
Even to book an appointment on the phone you are not accepting my blood work to be done through appointments. Only specific blood work are with appointments.

If you are going for a drop in expect to wait for over an hour just in line. Every time I have gone here the line is always all the way around the corner.

The staff was friendly and nurse was nice.

Online Appointments schedule is very busy, nothing before 15 days.
Emergency blood work starts after 11-30 morning so we can say its crazy fasting.
Staff is non responding, i was fasting since last 14hrs and arrived in Lab @ 8-30 am after 2 hours A lady came and i requested her if she can help me? She said that she will do her best. At 11-15 I asked her did you do something best for me? In actual they don't care the patients. Staff was laughing inside but patients were crying outside.
80yrs senior was standind behind me he was requesting again and again because he had surgery. But again no response

They will not change their attitude but you can definitely change your appointment and move it to somewhere else.

My first experience in this lab. Was a bit hesitant due to its review. But it went very well and quite fast. Had appointment in the morning. No line, only 5 minutes waiting. I think they improve their service.

Got my blood work done during covid, and the staff here killed it! Awesome front desk service, awesome tech putting my fear of needles to rest. Thank you!

Does it take a little longer to sanitize every chair and room in between patients.sure does.but if you go to get blood work done during covid please dont complain it took longer because the staff here really are trying their best to adhere to protocols and are doing it with grit and grace. I'll def be back to this location!

I did my bloodwork here last Feb 11 and it went well. Though there were lots of people lined up, they still managed to control the crowd covid-wise. Good management of the facility. Highly recommended!

Seriously, you can't write a name on a bottle? ! Thanks for increasing my time spent out in public -during a pandemic- bc using a pen isn't in your job description, or whatever your problem is.

Worst place to go for your labs. Not at all recommend. Staff is not committed and keep on chatting among themselves. They make you wait & wait & wait. Even after I had an appointment they attended me after 1 hr 15 mins past my scheduled appointment.

The whole process was very quick, and the gentleman who did my bloodwork was very polite/friendly. He made me feel comfortable and distracted me from the needle, as well as making sure I was kay afterwards. From start to finish arriving at the clinic was probably only about 15 minutes. I was sent to the room right away, no waiting in the waiting area. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom could have been cleaner and they should probably collect the urine jars more quickly, as quite a few were stacked in the bathroom and no one wants to see that. But overall, everyone was friendly, and I was happy to not spend hours waiting as I have previously at some of the labs.

Honestly i had nothing but a good experience here.i did have to wait a little bit for my blood but that's normal and the staff was very friendly. And i was able to make an appointment within a week which was really great since everywhere else seemed to be pretty booked!

I beleive they need a be a better system, people with appointments are literally waiting an hour passed, people lined up around the corner, what will they do when its minus 30? I think they need a better system i know we are all just trying to survive i get that. But something more needs to be done.

Well organized place, and every time I got my blood work drawn it was close to painless. Waiting lines are short, most i waited was 15 mins and last times, I just walked in, none was waiting.

I have never had an issue with the staff here. They have always been friendly with me. I usually book an appointment but when I have forgotten to do so, I am right there when the door opens. My issue is that you have one person who doesn't speak English and they bring 4 or 5 family members who take up seats that should be for those getting tests done. Only need 1 family member to translate. A friendly reminder, when your going to cough or sneeze cover up. Don't need your sickly germs floating around.
