New company. Dyna. The wait was super long, despite being 8th in line first thing in the morning I was there for an hour. The technician was brutal.she rammed the needle into my arm with great aggression. Seriously.do better at this. Perhaps they could learn better patient practice. Not impressed at all and now looking at bruising on my arm.
We've brought our toddler here 3 times for blood work. They have a special room for kids. The staff has always done of good job of being friendly and distracting her with stickers and toys. It's always been a good experience and our toddler barely notices the needles.
The staff are usually friendly and kind. Unfortunately, their booking system is a nightmare and they end up 30 minutes to an hour behind on appointments almost every day. I'm pregnant with twins and needed to fast for my test, made my appointment early so it wouldn't be too long of a wait (I also had to stay there 2 hours and have multiple blood draws for the test I was doing). I still ended up waiting 40 minutes to get in for my inital blood draw, on top of the 2 hours I was required to stay. This could have easily caused me to pass out with how long I had to wait on top of fasting. It's not the fault of the staff who take your blood or the receptionist, they are trying their best and working hard, but the system they're using for appointments/walk-ins is really awful and it makes it undesirable to go here. On the plus side, I will note that the lab is clean and well maintained, and usually not uncomfortably over-packed with people waiting like a lot of labs I've been to.
Went as a walk in, was there before they opened at 7am when I finally got to the front of the line the phone rang and lady went to have a friendly chat with whomever was on the other end, which placed me behind other people the other lady was checking in. My official check-in time was then 7: 15am, I only got called back to get bloodwork done at 8: 55am as they will take 10-15 appointment people to every walk-in. I also then proceeded to wait in the room for 20 minutes while she inputed everything into the computer. Terribly timed out as my tests require a urine sample and fasting as a type 1 diabetic who is pregnant, I would book appointments in advance but being pregnant and diabetic means I see my doctor every week and constantly get new bloodwork thrown at me that needs to be done as soon as possible which doesn't work if I need to book appointments 7 weeks out.
Appointment system is horrible, your child just has heart surgery and is on medication that need to be monitored by blood work, so gets an uncomfortable wait time of 2 hours cause I can't book an appointment, next available is a 7 weeks away!
Waited only for an hour when the receptionist told me it would be one and half.
The receptionist is friendly and professional, who would answer your questions patiently
The MLA was the opposite, she asked me to leave a urine sample when my doctor didn’t order me one. When I was asking what the urine sample is for, she said “ I don’t know, whatever your doctor ordered for you”
I called doctor’s office and they said they didn’t order a urine test.
They're telling walk-ins 1- 1/2 hours which is a joke because there are 14 requisitions ahead of me for people with appointments. And 7 people in the queue to check in and 23 people in chairs. So glad I made an appointment 5 WEEKS ago.
Terrible terrible terrible is all I can say. I booked an appointment over a month ago. Arrived on time and still waited over one hour. Missed another appointment. Blood was more important so I had to stay. Will never book here again.
My husband and I had booked appointments. The weather made us a bit late but we had our blood work, urine and an echocardiogram (for me) within a 45 minute period. The staff there was so accommodating, caring, and we even had a few laughs. Everyone was over and beyond in my experience. Now I just hope for “no news is good news! ”
You don’t need to book an appointment here. Waiting time is very reasonable and employees are very helpful on top of receptionist is very professional and welcoming. Parking is also accessible so you don’t have to worry about finding a spot. Highly recommended location!
Arrived at the at my appointment, it turned out that there was no kit for invatae.asked to come the next day.came and was rude to questions and didnt want to miss the tests. I am horrified by this lab.
They didn't do one of the tests I provided, which had a cascading effect that significantly delayed my treatment and caused my illness to progress further than it should have.
Worse service ever. You can wait to get your test more than an hour and the people that works there don’t care at all. They chat, laugh and enjoy day between them but don’t work at all. Just for a simple blood test you can spend more than 2 hrs for somebody to do it. It is unbelievable and totally unfair. Unrespecful with peoples time. Never go there
I misplaced my paperwork and had to get it sent over to the clinic, which ended up taking a while due to a faxing error. Christie and Doina stayed with me and made sure I got my blood work done quickly and painless, which I appreciate a lot on such a tight schedule. Thanks!
I had a great experience my first time at this lab yesterday and I’ll be sure to book here going forward. Front desk staff were lovely, I got in immediately upon arrival for my appointment, and only waited maybe 2 minutes for my phlebotomist to get to me. Holly was great and when I felt faint after the blood draw she stood there fanning me until I felt better. She made an embarrassing moment a lot better.
Front desk attendant who I dealt with was curt and passive aggressive. The person who conducted my test made sexist remarks to me which is unacceptable anywhere, nevertheless in a healthcare environment. And there were ants in the lobby. Clean yourselves up.
TIME Management issues this isn't the person's fault that's taking your blood. They (management) have spend endless resources ensuring the people on the front line fallow the scripted messages. It's the person that schedules the time without adequate staff in place to keep up with the "BOOKED" demand. Sounds like an upper management problem with those problems being forced onto the front line (you know, the people trying to get it done). Why is the problem always with the person sitting in the back room completely removed from the front line? Anyway, make sure you leave room to spend another half hour sitting in a boring room, reading the same sign you've read a hundred times before. You've been warned.
It's not good for urgent blood work test. The appointment rule does not make any sense. How come you have to book 3 weeks before the test while for emergency test, you can be scheduled 10 days prior. Either through online booking, phone call, or even you make a time to come in - they don't care. Even then, whether you have an appointment or not, the wait is just the same like you do walk in.
