Look, this isn't a problem with only this location, it's a problem caused by different companies constantly changing, but they are continuously losing orders and giving conflicting information. Today I was told they don't do standing orders, and that I had to bring in a paper copy every time. The last time I visited the never mentioned this change in policy. As I was getting ready to leave, she tells me she can check the computer, and lo and behold she had my standing order. However, she was quite rude, abrupt, and condescending during the conversation, and that could be easily improved.

I was at Ranchland location to collect a container at 3: 40pm on Oct. 04,2023 for h.plori test but the Asian lady at the reception was rude. The way she talked me like she was doing some extra favour was trying to undermine me for nothing
First she refused right away by saying we are not accepting any walk in. I explained that I just needed a container for sample not here for walk in. Then she gave me a container with very bad attitude. When I was coming out realized that she didn’t give me wooden stick to collect the sample went back again then she “ We don’t any wooden stick “ then someone else there told then she gave me like she was giving something from her pocket. I was very shocked to see that kind of behaviour when I was talking to her very politely. These kind of people shouldn’t be in customer facing jobs instead of ruining other people’s day they should stay at home.

Always busy.sometime they take unneccesary blood sample of my kids. Just because of technician mistake. I had two bad experience so far.otherwise it is ok

Tried to make my 80 year old grandma sit outside on the side walk to wait for her appointment when there was many open/empty chairs inside then proceeded to question if her blood work from her doctor was necessary. My grandma said "Well my doctor seems to think so! ". Unacceptable. You don't force an 80 year old to sit outside on the side walk when there are open chairs available. You also definitely don't have a place to question the necessity of blood work given from a physician.

Went for blood test today, told me come back after 1 and half hour, came back after receiving text, still waited more than 1 hour then asked the lady how long more she was very rude to answer doesn't matter you received text means we will call you right away, OK then I waited again then half an hour letter lady name IRINE called took our paper said sit I will call you after entering information to computer and told me 5 minutes, that 5 minutes took more than 15 minutes because she was not expert and incompetent handling computer, I saw she was asking multiple lab assistants to print the label, finally she called us and I asked her why it took so long she rightaway answered me very rudely that she didn't take 15 minutes and told me don't come to this lab next time then if I cannot wait, I was shocked and embarrassed to hear and how dare she to tell me where and which lab I have to go, she then left all the lab paper left the room without telling me anything and send another assistant to take my blood, I was really sad and embarrassed the service and rude word behaviour I got from this lab, and specifically this lady name IRINE, I will try to avoid this lab from now and will send information to my community so that everyone and large groups of my community avoid this lab

Very slow service took me 1 hour and 30 mins to get my blood work done. The staff is sometimes rude and there is no proper workflow they will keep yelling the patients name even when they are inside poor lab system. The rooms are confined with no proper seating. Will have to keep coming back as there are no other locations.

The new system of operations to handling people to have test is very bad. And also to make appointments has made complex and it was hard for me to make appointment. The persons/workers are fine, it seems to not enough workers or poor management or the way to handle the process of handling patients.

Don't make appointment at this location it doesn't mean anything.waited 1 hour after my appointment time to get called. The lady at the reception is very rude and unprofessional.

Waited 40mins WITH A BOOKED APPOINTMENT. Waiting room was packed full with people waiting outside… just a zoo…
Lady taking my blood had ZERO care for me, gave me ZERO introductions and seemed to hate her job. Just an overall bad experience.

Very disappointed with this place. Arrived at appointment time to see waiting room full of people. Staff blaming a new “system “ for the prolonged delay. What a joke.

Did not label containers and lab reqs so my efforts to do my tests would have been erased. It’s a zoo in there

April 8th my appointment was 8.15 am. I have to wait for more than an hour. Alberta government is talking about privatization for all medical systems. I believe day by day getting worst. After privatization I observed that they cut off the stuff. This is the result for privatization. Before it used to be better service.

What slow service 2-3 hours wait this is stupid Staff is so slow and patience with appointments half hour wait till they get in and walk in’s 2-3 hours not good i for sure will never go here again

Receptionist was rude, lab tech very curt/rude. I find it disgraceful that these people are employed and this is how they act at work, meanwhile others would love to have a job. 0/5.

I made an appointment for the first time at this location because the date was closer. There was an Asian lady at the counter who I find was rude. She called my name and I wasn’t sure what to do because at the other location, a physician will come out and lead or direct us to the room.

When I walked to the counter in confused, she said “Next time when we call you, come to the counter”. Then she made a small laugh like I am a dumb new immigrant who don’t understand English. I felt discriminated. She told me the room number quickly and turned away so I was waiting for her. An Asian patient at the line pointed me the direction.

She should ask whether I know where to go, but just laughed. Such an unprofessional and bad service! Obviously, I don’t look like I know what to do so laughing is not a way to serve the patient. I never had this problem at the Beddington Town Centre location. Other than that, the healthcare professional who did the test for me and another professional who answered my question on the way out was helpful so the two stars are for them.

Dropped in today and they were very busy. The desk nurse indicated over a hour wait. She suggested that she take my wife’s name and put her in the queue. She as very helpful and indicated that they would text us and we would have 10 minutes to get back. Great system and good staff. We were back within the hour.

I can't believe the unprofessional staff that run the lab. Staff from the front desk talking so loud the whole office can hear personal information to the Asian lady that did my blood work was extremely aggressive when inserting and removing the butterfly clip that draws the blood out. Telling me (a person who gets blood work done routinely) that it's supposed to hurt all the time and blames the tool. That wasn't the cherry no the cherry on top of this horrible experience was when I told the lady it hurt and how I felt she was being aggressive and rude. She goes to her other co-workers and discusses it real loud so everyone else can hear. I will not return to this location. Over worked/under staffed. And the whole time they DIDN'T sanitize any of the rooms while switching people.

Made me wait 40 mins past my appointment. Unfriendly staff with a 1.5 hr wait time for walk in. How can an appointment have half the wait time as a drop in?
