This was probably the best blood collection appointment I have ever had. I'm what they call in the business a "slow bleeder". Usually when I ask for a butterfly needle, a nurse takes this as a challenge. NOT HERE! The nurse grabbed that butterfly needle as soon as she saw my veins, got a hit on the first insertion and had me done in less than 90 seconds. I barely even felt the needle go in - I barely have a mark! Reader, this NEVER happens to me. Usually blood tests are an exercise in patience.

In summary, I am impressed. This is where I'm going for all of my blood reqs from now on.

Absolutely disgusting the ignorance of the receptionist.
I did not have an appointment and came in at about 3.30pm and at 5pm she told me to come back tomorrow.
Pretty classy for a two minute blood test.

This has to be one of the busiest blood labs I have been to. The line up is always out the door and I have only ever seen 1 receptionist checking people in at a time. They don't offer the save my space online like most other labs do so your stuck waiting. The staff seem to not care about how long people are having to wait and miss work as it's like they are in slow motion. You would think they would know they are a busy clinic and would maybe chat less or work a bit fast or get some more staff. Trouble shoot. Anyways don't come to this one put yourself on a waitlist and drive the extra 5 or 10 minutes. Oh and they say they are open on Saturdays which they are but they DO NOT accept walk ins on Saturdays. Just so you all know.

What's the point of making an appointment month in advance if the waiting time is in order of arrival, meaning plus one hour at least?
Management needs to be changed and implemented a more efficient system.

Not nearly enough staff working. Nearly a 4 hour wait time when you arrive before they even open is ridiculous. If you know your are busiest 7-9 AM, then why do you not have staff in to deal with the busier times?

Came in as a walk-in at 7.30am for a fasting blood test, was completely ignored and after several reminders took me in at 11.30.very bad experience.no communication

Seems like the procedures change every time I go there.current procedures don't seem very efficient but then they haven't always seemed efficient in the past either. I go there because it's close to home but I always make sure to bring a book to read

Came in for blood tests. Was told there would be a 2 hour wait and they would text me when it was my turn. They were very accurate with the estimated time and I was able to get some chores done while I waited. Much better than waiting in line.

Don’t bother booking an appointment. They give priority to all the walk ins. I am waiting here with at least 10 people that booked and waited for a month to get in just to wait at least 2 hrs to get in WITH AN APPOINTMENT. Clearly this system isn’t working and there are all these people angry.

I recently showed up for a booked appointment, that I was only able to get last minute on a cancellation after failing to successfully have my blood collected before 9am (was required for a certain test) as a walk in on 3 attempts!
I patiently waited in the single lineup of about 30 people which had stretched outside. Despite arriving before the appointment time I was still waiting outside when my time came. When I finally stepped inside the door I heard my name being called - I ran to the desk only to be told that I almost missed my appointment and should have come on inside (eg skipping the line) despite having been present waiting in the ever-growing line.

Please work to optimize your efficiency and organization. I know many people are frustrated with the current situation, patients and providers alike.
This also has great potential to cause harm (eg INR values not being collected regularly, important drug level monitoring, patients skipping labs due to inaccessibility/ impossible wait times, etc).

This is the worst place ever to get blood work done. No one ever seems to be working. They walk around doing nothing. The wait time to get checked in almost takes an hour and then you have to wait another 2 or 3 hours to get your blood work done. Absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING! THEY ARE ALL ON CONTINUOUS COFFEE BREAK.

What happened here? Its walk in and walk in pre book for the same day (not an appointment) and when you arrive, there is no clear procedure between those walk in and prebook clients. Web site not clear, and signage not clear. All the staff are as excellent as usual but this DynaLife needs to step up to how efficient everything was run previously.

This place it is always busy. People have to wait outside in freezing temperatures. Always short on staff and the their system is too slow. All Alberta Precision Labs in the city have the same issue. City is growing fast and health care is going in the opposite way. If you have to tests every week you can’t book in advance, if you try to book in advance, next day available is usually 30 days ahead.

My mother has to get monthly blood tests. She has been coming here for years. The last three months she has had a male employee take the blood and it has left her with large bruises which last for days.

I recently visited a medical lab and was impressed by the fast service, kindness, and excellent customer service. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, making the experience as smooth as possible. The lab was also well organized, making it easy to navigate and complete my tests quickly. Overall, I would highly recommend this medical lab for anyone in need of reliable and efficient medical testing services

They used the same needle on my left and right brachial artery when they get my blood. They never changed the needle and i know they should!
