I answered an ad off kijiji for a blower. Listed price was 599 and the ad said as follows.

“ Sold by Alberta Small Engine. Shop demo unit. Light use. Comes with full manufacture warranty. Listed price includes gst. Call or stop by for further info “

They responded to my questions on the kijiji ad, but when I sent my husband in to buy it he noticed afterwards that they had added the GST. Despite the ad stating that price includes gst.

We called the shop back and they REFUSE to change it and refuse to give me the price that the Kijiji ad stated.

If the kijiji ad was wrong and should have read excluding gst then they can correct it before the next person reads it but they should have honoured it for me.

I just don’t like that fact that they are not honouring their price that they had posted when I agreed to buy it

So know they add a comment saying they will make sure future ads are more accurate. That doesn’t help my concern. They still will not Honor the cost that was posted for my purchase. I would like the Gst refunded as my purchase said the price included gst.

Dropped off my chain saw for repairs and was told later that the chainsaw was unrepairable, due to scoring on the piston? I pickup the chain saw which cost me $50 plus dollars
I has someone else look at it as it was running good last time I used it, he looked it over and put it back together and said it was fine! He did mention that it’s a old chainsaw and that the scoring was not at all bad, and that the only issue was that all the parts mainly hardware was not returned, so was not able to put it completely back together.

I was here 2weeks ago I talk a lady regarding about my lawn mower, she ask what's wrong with your machine, I said it wouldn't start and the blade is dull, and she said no worries will fix that problem, I paid 50$ for like a downpayment if I'm right, then until now it's not even fix and my wife called and they said it's not ready, my grass in the front of my house looks like a jungle and my back yard to.luckily my neighbour let me borrow his mower. I'm not gonna recommend this company to my friends and family

Didn’t seem to be too helpful with the part. It was for an older machine and they don’t sell it anymore so they didn’t have too much with interest in helping me out but other than that it was pretty good overall, I still use them quite a bit.

I own an arborist company in Edmonton. I buy chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and blowers from here. Through the years I have tried out the many small engine shops in Edmonton. This one is the best. They are family run, professional, and knowledgeable. The biggest difference from "the other guys" is the sales service I get from Mason and Kayla anytime I come in. It's the best! I highly recommend popping in next time you are in the market for a small engine for your business or work around the house.

Closed from the 23rd to the 1st? Seriously? Like sure, rotate staff and close the repair shop.but you really cant be open for a couole days between X-mas and New Years with someone at min wage to sell basic supplies? My one purchase of some overpriced Aspen fuel would cover the wages.

The worst customer service I have ever seen this shop clearly doesn't care about ordinary clients no help what so ever

It's not about what business do you have but about what service you can give to your customers. The 1st time we stepped in, a guy approached us immediately and helped us until we leave with the stuff on our hand and smile on our face because of happy with the service and display was great.
