After getting ripped off at a different transmission place we decided to come here and was treated awesome, hitesh was super nice and did amazing work on our vehicle, the price was very reasonable. He definitely went above and beyond for us. Also the receptionist. Is a super nice lady and very professional. Would definitely recommend Alberta transmission services to everyone.

Called these guys twice, the lady on the line the first time said the Mechanic will call me back in an hour, no call back in 6 hours so I called back and said he will call. Two months later still no call.

I called around a lot before choosing Alberta Transmission Service to overhaul my transmission and replace the torque converter. Too many other providers were unprofessional on the phone and first impressions count. Kristin was the complete opposite. She was unrushed and focused on talking to me, not doing other things while on the phone, and had Hitesh (the lead mechanic) speak to me as well. He knew exactly what was going on and described the symptoms exactly. When I arrived to drop off my truck, Kristin had all her customer's work orders neatly laid out on her desk. That spoke volumes to me. Yes, it's important to know transmissions but everything that goes on around the mechanical work is also important. Other businesses take note. The work was done on time and when I picked it up, I again spoke with Hitesh. He was very transparent in the difficulties he had with my truck but knew that all would be well. My truck feels like it's 150k newer and I know I better not drive like I'm 15 years younger or I'll get myself in trouble. I would most certainly recommend them to my friends and family.

Alberta transmission is fantastic to deal with and is very honest and trustworthy which is hard to come by with automotive repair shops. I am a journeyman mechanic and have used Alberta transmission a few times over 14 years and found Tesh to be awesome to deal with. The last 4L60E transmission they rebuilt is working great and even though they did not do the R&R Tesh had me bring the truck in to verify pressures were good at no charge. I have recommended them to many people and will continue to do so.

My family has been using Alberta Transmission Service for all our transmission needs for many years. My father owned a business up north! And jobbed all transmissions to them. And we never had to worry that it would fail.they have done all kinds of specialty transmissions along the way for us as well! This is the only business to go for any transmission needs! Not sure if they are still operating as both phone calls and emailing them went unanswered. Phone call and voicemail left during business hours over a week ago, the email was sent at the beginning of the month.

I experienced transmission problems while travelling on a holiday when all the Ford dealerships were closed as well as most shops in Edmonton.
I was so thankfull that the owner made time right away to diagnose the problem honestly and give me straight honest answers and options.
Both owner and lady at the front desk were incredible to meet and communicate with.
Trust and confidence wer established within minutes of entering the building.
I will go out of my way in the future to bring my vehicles to this shop!

I found Alberta Transmission Service on Google and was impressed with the service from the moment I called. Kristen was so pleasant to deal with and took care of me from the moment I called. My car has been rumbling and is slow to shift gears when it is cold. The free diagnosis they offer told me that my car's transmission had no error codes and that the rumbling was not coming from my transmission. I did get my transmission serviced and was recommended to another shop to diagnose where the rumbling is coming from. Amazing service, I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing transmission work done!
