I started my house journey before Covid started with Gareth. My uncle referred me to Gareth as he had helped him sell and buy his home. I dragged Gareth to all sorts of places in Calgary, Strathmore, Airdrie and Okotoks. Gareth Hughes of CIR Realty did an outstanding job of selling our SW area condo in August 2018. The market at that time was very poor; condo listings were sitting for multiple months and often selling well below listing price. Gareth did a great job of prepping our place for market, including co-ordinating staging and painting, and coming up with a really well researched and strategic listing price. We had a number of showings and an offer within weeks of listing the property. The offer met our initial expectations and we moved forward with it. There were a couple of bumps in the diligence process due to some unforeseen strata improvements but Gareth was able to able to negotiate through those issues very effectively with the buyer and kept our deal intact to our satisfaction. We began working with Gareth Hughes 2 years before we planned to sell our Calgary home to get an understanding of the market in our area of Wildwood.
