Alexander's Steakhouse & Pizzaria

I'm surprised that I can find a good quality restaurant like this in a small town.
Staff are very well trained and friendly.
We ordered veal cutlet, New York strip and a chicken pizza. I don't really like the veal, but New York strip is good. However, a little part of the New York strip is overcooked. They also have very good portion of the vegetables come with the meal, it's certainly a healthy nutrition balanced meal. The best one is their pizza, very impressive. The crust was crispy, sauce and topping were very fresh. If you have a chance to come here, must try their pizza.

Alexander’s never disappoints! Their staff always goes above and beyond, their food is delicious and you cannot beat their pizza. Whether you are taking out or eating in the restaurant you can’t go wrong choosing to eat here!

We thought that this restaurant was going to be our go to restaurant,
But as we have found out most always the cooking is something to be desired in all restaurants. This restaurant is a little better, but not by much
The last few years there is no excellent just mediocre in cooking, no matter how much you pay for it.

Their flavouring is great and the service is incredible. Their staff is super friendly and beyond accommodating. A lovely, affordable place to take your family for dinner.

This place it amazing. I found it on a Google search and wasn't sure what to expect but it was ranked one of the best restaurants in Airdrie. I was thinking more of a pub/family restaurant but it's high-end and fancy on the inside and the staff is very professional. Food is really good and the portions are large no matter what you order. I brought 3 other people with me and we all got something different. Each plate was BIG. Definitely worth checking out for anyone who hasn't tried it already!

Highly recommend.
Atmosphere is okay. Is a much older restaurant, nothing fancy but food was great.
Bruschetta was delicious.
We had the salmon dish which was better than I expected, delicious!
My husband had the filet mignon with the baked potato, It was also very good.
We tried the deep fried ice cream and the chocolate cake, didn't really care for either. I wouldn't get either again but again that's a personal preference.
I found the batter on the deep fried ice cream soggy and the cake kind of seemed stale.
Aside from the dessert, I'd get it all again and we will definitely go back.

My favorite restaurant in Airdrie. I have eaten there with clients hundreds of times and recommend it as part of a marketing budget!

Well what can I say! It was the best meal out I have had in years! It was my birthday and we came from BC, you didn't disappoint! My steak was done to perfection! My family all had something different and all amazing! The pizza was incredible! And Maxine our server was the best I have ever experienced, she was fun, efficient sweet to the little one's right on the ball! I will come back eventide we return! I would give you all more stars if I could!

Order a pepperoni/mushroom and green peppers pizza and when I got home there’s was no pepperoni! Call back to tell them and the girl told me that the girl who took my order said I didn’t mention anything about pepperoni! So basically call me a liar! 50$ for a large mushroom pizza and a Greek salad! Never go there again.

As a steak lover and been to many steakhouse arpund the world. The steaks here is WORLD CLASS!

I chose this restaurant because of the reviews. It was excellent! My spouse chose a steak which was perfectly cooked, very generous with the sides. My son had the fettuccine with chicken, super tasty. I ordered the veal cutlets, I enjoyed every bite and the Cesar salad dressing was the best I’ve had! The waitress was nice and super efficient.

The food was amazing, the service was very friendly and prompt. There was nothing on my plate I didn't absolutely love. A very unassuming place with delicious food. Highly recommend the Filet Mignon or even the Rib Eye! Do yourself a favor and get the stuffed potato!

The rack of lamb with its greek and exceptionally delicious gravy with its hint of mint is second to none! Even if you think you don't eat lamb, you need to try this dish for its culinary flavours. Once again it is by far the "Best Dish Ever", even my non-lamb friends agree! This restaurant never disappoints! Happy New Year!

Classic style Greek restaurant with great pizza and many dinner options for all tastes. If you love Greek food, this is the place for you!

Had a great meal at Alexander’s in Airdrie on Saturday. Made a reservation on the same day and glad we did as it was full when we arrived at 6: 45. Ordered ahead so the kid’s pizza would be ready when we got there. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and all the food (pizza, Caesar salad, rib eye meal, and fettuccini supreme) was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Add: And my husband dropped my leftover rib eye on the floor when we got home so the doggo got a nice treat.

First time here. The appetizers were ok but not exceptional. We had the calamari which we sent back as it was quite tough and the tatziki didn't seem homemade. The mushroom Neptune was nicely flavored but very sparse w crab meat.
Our entrees were a meat lovers pizza and a tornado steak dinner. The pizza was great and the tornados were wonderful. We would definitely come back.

Went for steak dinner there. Was all around a great experience. Hardly waited for our food. Food was cooked on point. Service was great. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Their 7oz filet mignon is the same size as a 9oz anywhere else I've been to, including the east coast. And you can ask for x amount of oz instead of what they offer on their menu. Friendly staff working in a place that feels family owned, I'm eating supper every Friday there.

This is an awesome place with amazing food. I can't say enough about the service either.
All around a totally great place to eat.

This place is a 30 minutes drive from Calgary with a cozy, family friendly vibe.
Prices are good compared to other steakhouses we looked at.
We shared the Ceasar salad: it was super fresh and tasty.
For mains we got 2 fillets mignon that were cooked to perfection!
Shoutout to Madison for taking good care of us and giving us tips for things to do in Banff!

Overall a good experience. I got a rib eye steak for myself and a filet mignon for my mom. My rib eye was good and very flavourful, however, it was a bit over cooked as I ordered mid rare. Same goes for the Filet Mignon, it was dry and overcooked as well. Definitely not what I was expecting as I was hoping I get what I paid for.

Yum. Tried the bbq rib meal and it was perfect. Left feeling as stuffed as my potato came and every bite was delicious.

Due to COVID restrictions, the manager / owner (?) worked very well with us to have a hot steak and shrimp dinner delivered to us. All small details were discussed and the meal was well worth the price and effort. The staff is friendly, the food is tasty, and the pricing is reasonable. It's nice to support local and have it meet expectations.

Amazing food and service, the waitress was very lovely and kind to us. We waited about half an hour to get our food which was totally understandable as it was very busy and it was well worth the wait. The salmon is delicious and the stuffed potato was probably the best part of the meal. My daughter loved her pepperoni pizza as well.the portions are very substantial and you are almost guaranteed to be walking out with left overs! The ambiance and vibe in there is just beautiful as well. I hear they are selling the place. I really hope they keep it close to the same! Amazing night out for my daughter and I?

My husband and I went here for the first time this week. The seafood linguini had so much seafood and was delicious. My husband had the peppercorn steak and said it was the bets steak he's had in ages. Our server, Lori made recommendations and they were all spot on. She was great!

Pretty bad that you offer Gluten free options to celiac patrons however, let a staff member go due to the fact that he’s celiac! Telling him you would never of hired him.and he shoulda disclosed in the interview. You do not have to disclose medical conditions in interviews, it’s against the law to even ask! Shame on you.
But oh well, you missed out on a dependable and very motivated young man who is on his way to SAIT in March to be a chef.

Delicious local Airdrie steakhouse. The price is a bit high, but it is worth the quality and service. I like to come here for a treat every once in a while. Due to a printer issue the food was a bit delayed, but the server was on top of it and kept me in loop so I knew what was happening. Hey mistakes happen, but I feel it was handled appropriately.

Pizzas are SMALL, quite expensive given the size. 60 for 2 mediums and 1 small. And to be honest ive had better pizza. Pretty disappointed.
Only positive is it arrived hot.

We went there for dinner tonight and we ordered French onion soups and 2 orders of wings and a medium pizza. I was very happy with everything. Pizza was great, the crust was so light and crispy. Wings were big and crispy. The soup was to die for. Our first time there after living 5 minutes away from it for 5 1/2 years. We will be coming back 1000%. Thank you Alexander's oh and the service was top notch too.

So first off, my dad is incredibly picky where he eats steak, and according to him you guys have done his steak exactly how he wants it. Plus the environment was so friendly and well missed. The waitress was amazing. And I had the salmon and it was delicious. Definitely be a spot I'll recommend or take a date too.

I had my meal delivered tonight.
My Pizza was cold. Their wasn't enough sauce on the Pizza. It was very dry and very salty.
A waste of $33.
I won't be ordering again.

Had a really great birthday dinner here. First off it was nice and quiet since they had just opened which was great. Our server was extremely friendly and super personable.the calamari which was good but not great. Some pieces were chewy and others really tender. I had the rib eye which was really good, the vegetables were perfectly cooked and stuffed really delicious. My steak was over for ordering medium but it was so good I didn't want to say anything. They also threw in a free dessert to go. I was too full after everything. Alexander's has always been consistently been good and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a good meal anytime.

Steaks + Salads are an absolute hit. Pizzas were fine but pretty similar to Paul's pizza, perhaps slightly underwhelming in comparison. Service is great! Look forward to exploring the menu more! Favourite place to eat in Airdrie!
