A nice, peaceful place to pray. Trained in the traditional Islamic schools in South Africa, the Imam of the mosque is a highly qualified person. The Alfalah Center is also a hub for Islamic dawah programs.
They have so many accomodations for the women, such as extra hijabs for prayer! They really make you feel at home and comfortable. By far the best masjid I've ever been to in Canada. The most humble, gentle, and kindest people here.
Nice and peaceful although small for Friday prayer. Parking is limited, hence make sure to come early for Friday prayer or park your vehicles elsewhere.
That is amazing place to be because 1st was Prophet Isa (Jesus) peace be upon him. Now Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him You can come join to the way of profits.
Clean, organized. Short on parking though. Please find an appropriate spot when on the street. We can not afford to inconvenience the mosque neighbors.
Alfalah Masjid is a small masjid but the people are friendly. And the Imam speaks to current affairs and real life experience using the Qurran and Hadith to back it up. I enjoy Jummah Service her since I started attending. Barakallahu feekum
Praise be to God! A peaceful place to be at. O reader, let it be known that there is only one God and messengers and prophets were sent to all nations, beginning from Adam, Noah. Abraham, Ishmael, Moses, Jesus and the last among them is the prophet Muhammad, peace be unto all of them.
Where to start, the place is clean and tidy that about it. Timing is unclear the website says something signs another and actual timing is way off. The imam came across as a social justice warrior with one-sided opinion on the entire food dentistry and how people should eat their food and shouldn’t eat their food and it was completely pointless as a talk lacking severely in any kind of backing or sources to his argument. Just lots of virtue signalling and controversy for the sake of it.
I’ve never in my life reviewed a place of prayer negatively but this place was beyond belief in terms of talk quality I hope he’s not a permanent fixture but they should get a grip and have some quality control for their talks because he mentioned that he’s been talking about this for three months but the talk itself came across as something that he came up on on the spot without any kind of prep time. Disappointing to say the least.
Please take note of the Friday timings. The poter says second Jumua at 2: 30 for spring (for example). This is when the talk starts. Iqamah is approx 20-25 min later. Those people only coming to pray congregation, please take note.
