A classic Italian restaurant. Friendly service. I don't know why it took me so long to come here. I've lived in Edmonton my entire life and this place has been highly recommended many times over the years. Warm and delicious meals cooked with love!
Always sooo delicious! Pasta special was amazing- coconut curry cream sauce with prawns and salmon Jack also had us try some samplings from the Ethiopian menu was also very good!
Boyfriend and I had lunch here and it was hands down the best meal we've ever had. Everything was seasoned perfectly and super fresh, salmon pasta was amazing. Highly reccomend, service was also very attentive. Great bang for your buck, wasn't overpriced.
It had been a few years since we visited the downtown location by the legislature, so my wife and I decided to check out 95th street. First of all, the pre-dinner bread is just as we remember, piping hot, crusty and soft. We noticed that there was an Ethiopian menu, so instead of the Italian we intended for, we got the meat platter with pita - amazing! Spicy, flavourful, and filling. The service was awesome and the price was really good. Topped it off with their signature Tiramisu. Really nice change of pace and will be back!
Very quaint and cozy dining room. Smells great with the sents of fresh Italian food cooking. I went with two other friends and we were all equally impressed. I tried the veal canelloni because many years ago when I worked for Sorrentos this was my favourite dish and the staff here told me it's better here. Because it was so long ago that I had not had it at Sorrentos it not really fair to compare but this canneloni was very good! I tried it with both tomato sauce and mushroom sauce. My other friend had pizza and it was also very good. I recommend this restaurant. Sorry I forgot to take pictures but wish I hadn't.
I don't usually write reviews for restaurants, but this restaurant is INCREDIBLE! 4 stars just because the menu was limited. Overall experience was great. Very cozy restaurant with amazing food.
I'm a picky person when it comes to pasta. But allergro's is TRULY ITALIAN. The food is made fresh from scratch.nothing is pre cooked
Portions are very large.in terms of feeling a "Food Coma" Price is ON POINT.i don't care what anyone has to say.
Atmosphere is great and the service was good! Reasonably priced as well but I ordered the calmari and it was way too salty. My friends had some pasta and enjoyed it. I will go back and try something else for sure to give it a second chance!
