I have nothing but great things to say about this company, while being a painting contractor for them/on their team for almost 2 years, they treat every person, company and client with the upmost respect.

They genuinely care about the quality they put in and do what they can too keep it that way. I respect the owners and project managers for taking on this line of work, it is not an easy job! I had a 20x22’ garage built by Alliance in late summer as well as concrete work done, specifically a sidewalk replacement in the front and an extended patio area in the back. I also had an area of artificial grass installed between the garage and my concrete patio. Overall I am very pleased with the work Alliance did. The garage is high quality and built exactly as promised, the artificial grass is beautiful and looks like healthy real grass and the new concrete work is great. Unfortunately for me I chose to pour my front sidewalk without a step or two and the slope is a bit too steep to be safe in winter. It was my decision but oh how I wish someone had talked me out of this. So this coming spring 1/2 the sidewalk will be removed and redone with steps to remove the slope. I am confident that the end result will be just as high quality. The artificial grass was installed very late fall and may need some final touches this spring when it is warmer to keep it in place and make it perfect.

The Alliance staff that we usually saw on site were all hard working but friendly whenever we had contact with them. The General Manager whose name I could never quite get right (Malachy) was always so easy to talk to and never talked down to me despite my many silly questions throughout the building process. He has great patience despite being run off his feet and it was always a pleasure to talk with him. Another hard working employee we frequently saw was the multi-talented Tom who always had a minute to say hi to my big fluffy cat Milo and scratch his ears whenever he was out on the porch. From what I could see, I don’t think there is anything Tom can’t do. Overall, Alliance has very talented employees who are excellent at what they do. It was fun watching them work. My neighbours were often watching as well with their 4 year old who found it all so fascinating. The Alliance crew were friendly with them as well.

Before I hired Alliance to do my garage, I was considering signing with a different builder but had some concerns The price they quoted was on the low end but one too many red flags led me to seek other quotes. Alliance was one of the quotes I received and it was middle of the road as far as cost went. The first meeting on site with Colin was what swayed me to choose Alliance even though I had lower quotes. He is friendly but professional and asked questions to understand my need. The initial proposal was revised a few times at my request and the back and forth while doing that was effortless, for me at least and if it was not for Colin he always was patient and kind which I appreciated. Once the contract was signed, I was given access to the BuilderTrend App where all communication occurs, documents posted, invoices and payments recorded, project schedule posted. It’s an efficient way to see everything in one spot and made a huge difference when trying to locate previous emails or invoices.

My husband and I are constantly in the know, as the communication between us and the team is superb. Alliance built our garage, we had a sloped yard so it was more involved that a regular slab on grade. They designed it and did a fantastic job on all aspects including sticking to the schedule and finishing on time. We also had then do a large sidewalk down the side of our house, which once again turned out amazing. The pricing on these projects was extremely competitive 8f not lower than the many quotes we had. Highly recommend this company!

Highly recommend. Of all the companies that i contacted, Alliance was the only one that was able to construct a garage during the winter. They have done a beautiful job, on time and made the process painless. Colin, Ryan, Tim and the crew were amazing. They are super responsive and most of the time they would reply back to you within minutes. The Buildertrend app they use is also great. Don't hesitate to go ahead with them!

We were happy from the start of the experience with the estimator Shannon who walked us through the whole process and the timeline this would entail. We had Alliance complete our basement. They worked with us to create a budget that we felt comfortable with and stuck to the timeline. They accommodated us when we needed to change the completion date and everything was done right on schedule. It was very important to us to have no hassles through the process with the timeline because of our hectic schedules with work and a baby on the way. All of the different trades that came through were respectful of our home. Brian and Ryan were friendly and wonderful to deal with. They did not disappoint us.

Overall everything was done on time and the service was great, that is until water started pooling on the floor. We had the service team come out and inspect only to find that the builders forgot to remove the 2x4 framing from the stub wall. The service person admitted to this mistake and instead of having them removed he threw a quick cement patch to hide it and to hopefully stop the leak. The patch obviously didn’t work because the floor still pools after every rainfall.
I’ve attempted to contact the company MULTIPLE times by email as well as by phone with zero response. I'm not one to write a negative review but I'm now having to pay out of my own pocket to have this fixed. You would think such a high rated company would own up to their mistakes and correct them. What a shame. I will be telling friends and family to steer clear of this company.

We’re very happy with our basement from Alliance. Communication was very good all the way through the process (Don, Ryan and Jesse), and all of the tradesmen were very friendly and professional. Of course, the quality was excellent, and the price was very competitive. Any minor issues or questions that came up were easily dealt with, and I appreciated the suggestions we got, not being an expert myself. I would recommend Alliance.

I hired Alliance to build my detached garage in Mahogany. They were great from Day 1 in the estimate all the way to the end. I did and extensive search for the right contractor for exactly what I was looking for. They were the only contractor that during the estimate, took the time to educate me on why we were choosing the options and features they recommended based on my lot and specific situation. They also really accommodated my wants and personalizations in the garage from previous garages I had in the past. I really enjoyed meeting and working with Jesse the electrician on this job. He took the time to also explain what he was working on and other ideas I could add to my garage in the future. He was patient while I asked 10,000 questions while he continued to finish the electrical on my garage. Alliance completed the entire project ahead of schedule and I’m really impressed wit the quality of workmanship It’s been almost a year and my garage still looks great and like new. We are very pleased with the development of our basement. Jesse, our Site Supervisor, kept things moving smoothly, took the time to keep us fully informed and answered any questions we might have. All the trades personnel did good work. Together this all contributed to giving us a very successful basement development. We would certainly recommend Alliance Renovations to friends who are looking for any kind of renovations.

Alliance renovations just completed a very professional job on our basement and a couple weeks ahead of schedule! Their work and finishings were high quality. Ryan, Don and Jesse were reliable and made us feel looked after. Would definitely recommend this company. Cost was very fair as well.

Even with the weather not cooperating, our garage was completed on schedule and on budget. Tim and Don were very professional to work with throughout, and Builder Trend was an excellent tool for me (working out of town). When we had a minor issue with the colour of the corner pieces on the siding, it was resolved before we could even bring it to their attention. Overall great experience and result, and our neighbours were very appreciative of how tidy the area was kept during construction. I would not hesitate to recommend Alliance.

Even 5 starts don’t do Justice about what this company really is. The best thing about we decided to go with ALLIANCE was because we saw a lot of signs outside a lot of houses in our community building basement, garage, so it’s good sign it’s a trusted company, they were really quick since I contact them to start with my project take couple days, Ridge was my first contact, very professional and valuable help. Then he came with Don, and we were really surprised how great and professional they were, a lot of experience, they caught first what we wanted and was perfect start, Don got us the best price and the best rates, we got the best quality for the best price, Paul was perfect doing the layout, all team at the office were amazing! We were so lucky getting Ryan as our Site Supervisor, amazing guy and very valuable team member, always there if we needed something every time going beyond our expectations, doing the best for get the job finish on time hands up for Ryan as the best Site supervisor, very professional and nice people!
