Alpena Dental is fantastic from the day you enter the establishment. Greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff is appreciated and escorted, in my case, the Hygienist takes me where I need to be. My appointment with Ava followed by Dr Cook (dentist) was also very friendly and professional. My needs were definitely met!

I am so nervous and anxious about visiting the dentist that I rarely go. It is only when absolutely necessary. The girls that greet you at the front desk are delightful. Dr. Negm is so kind and gentle and April and Marley were beyond compassionate to me. So believe it or not I am going back to have work done.

Dr Cook is the best! Very happy to have an excellent dentist who my kids like. Bonus that he is right here in town.

It’s never fun having extractions but Dr. Cook did a marvellous job on the freezing and the extractions themselves went without any problems.

Always feel at home when they look after me there.almost forget they're cleaning my teeth and of course I leave with a sparkling smile. Cheryl is always professional and friendly!

Super fantastic team. Really pleased with the work they did for me and that they were willing to have a conversation and discuss all my options. Absolutely amazing place to go and I would recommend anyone every day to go!

UPDATE: My appointment yesterday was so stressful. I had to arrange a ride but they were delayed so I was running behind by 15 min. Not the first time I've been delayed (due to my uncontrolled extreme bloodpressure issues.) I got a phone call (and a text) one hour before my appointment, she said that if I was more than 5 min.late I'd have to reschedule, and I had a pattern of being delayed by a half hour. And they run a tight schedule. And I knew about this appointment ahead of time. I've only had about 2 or 3 appointments in a full year, and I do not get delayed for insignificant reasons and a 10 min.delay is not a half hour. I explained the delay at the airport to pick up my ride, and my details about uncontrolled bloodpressure issues (again). She said we will see what happens when you get here. I hung up on her. I was 15 min delayed so I didn't get all my dental work done which is ok. She couldve simply asked if I needed to reschedule instead of threatening me an hour prior and not stamp me with a label in such a rude manner without getting all the facts. Ive always enjoyed going to Alpen and getting fantastic dental care from Dr. Cook but I'm afraid to make another appointment.

I’ve been visiting Alpen dental for a few years and I’ve always had a positive experience. Amazing staff, clean and comfortable with massage chairs and overhead TV’s for distraction. 10/10 recommend.

This dentists is amazing, the people that work there are amazing and they make you feel welcomed the second you walk in the door! Everybody here is great with my kids and make them knowledgeable about all the machines their going to use! This dentist went above and beyond for me and my children! 5 star all the way!

I am the office manager of Alpen dental, and have worked for this wonderful clinic for almost 8 years.

Today was a particularly special day for me as my 3 year old son was scheduled for his first cleaning. I was a little nervous as most parents know our kiddos can be unpredictable at that age.

My son saw Shantelle, she was simply amazing! She was so gentle, patient and kind.

Shantelle took her time, showed him all her instruments and showed him what they felt like on his hands before she placed them in his mouth.

Our cleaning was a success! He did it! I was so proud I had tears rolling down my face.

I wanted to share my experience as today I was not an employee, but a patient!

Shantelle is phenomenal at what she does, and I am grateful to have been given the chance to experience it!

I have been going to this dentist for years and have nothing but great things to say! Staff are all so helpful and friendly. Today, I had Akash Birdi as my dental hygenist. He was very thorough and gentle. He was very easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable. He also cleaned my teeth a few years ago and remembered a lot of things about me and my life which was very impressive! I highly recommend Akash and his fantastic service:)

I've always been extremely fearful of the dentist so this month when my mouth reeked havoc upon me I felt so blessed to have been able to find Alpen dental where every single person took care of me and went beyond their duty to make sure I was comfortable and pain free. I spent alot of time there recently and everytime I left I felt like I did my self a favor by advocating for my health and allowing these amazing professionals to help me!

They made my wisdom tooth removal as painless and stress free as possible, great work, very thankful.

Another wonderful experience at Alpen. This time we had Dr. Cook and his assistant Karen. My daughter has intense anxiety around the dentist. The tears were flowing before we even got inside. Jenn greeted her and comforted her right from the start. My daughter said afterwards how gentle her dentist was, and how she felt safe there. That is such a nice thing to hear from her. Karen did an incredible job making sure she felt safe and comfortable through her procedure. Thank you, all 3 of you. It makes such a big difference when kids feel welcomed, safe and cared for.

Absolutely love Alpen dental, Dr. Cook and all the staff are exceptional. Always get into my appointments on time, all procedures are explained to me. I would definitely rate this office as a 10!

Thanks to Alpen Dental my massive fear of the Dentist and needles has been alleviated, by the kindness and compassion of Dr. Cook and his wonderful Hygenist, I feel much more relaxed about returning. Pricing is fair and the Receptionist was easy to talk too. I highly recommend this office!

The team at Alpen Dental did fantastic with an individual. I am so thankful that I did not have to travel to Calgary or Edmonton with the individual to have dental work done. The choices with sedation brought peace of mind and worked well.

Just got my teeth cleaned by Kelly, she was knowledgeable and friendly. She was gentle and did a through job in the cleaning. Doctor cook was friendly and on time, over all a very family friendly office.

The complete staff at Alpen Dental guided me through my transition from my work benefits to my retirement benefits. Stayed in contact with me as we figure it all out. When reaching the appointment date explained everything completely so I had no surprise bill at the end of appointment. All services are top notch. I have been their client for about 5 years. Great staff! Five star establishment all the way!

Very welcoming atmosphere. Great communication before and after appointments. My dental hygenist is awesome. My dentist has done 2 tricky (and succesful) root canals for me that a dentist in Calgary refused to attempt. Highly recommend Alpen Dental!

I have a massive fear of the dentist and they’ve cured that. All very wonderful, I’m almost looking forward to my next appointment.
