BUYER BEWARE! I called them to get my door looked at and quoted. They came fast which was great and zayne was really friendly and worked quick.they quoted me a higher price than I expected but not having time that day to call other places for repair I didn’t know what to compare it too. I asked if he could lower the price at all and he called his manager and then preceded to tell me I get 10% off being a first time client. I was surprised I had to ask and wasn’t offered that to begin with. I had a super weird feeling I was being overcharged but he was there and I needed my door fixed ASAP so I could park in there and agreed with the price. Still feeling like I needed to call around I did so the next morning to other garage repair companies to just to find out they quoted me $400-500 less for the exact same parts and job! I thought it may be a little difference being a competitive market but not by that much. I felt totally taken advantage of and called them to tell them and asked to speak to the manager that after a couple days I STILL have not heard back from. Classic once they get your money the customer service is gone. I also received my detailed invoice that I had to ask for cause I didn’t get that night detailing the work I got that was totally different amounts than was told originally even tho it added up to the same total. Super upset and feel very taken advantage of. No one should gouge their clients a bunch of money to have a reputable business in this city. My advice: get a couple quotes before giving this company your hard earned money!

Alpha's technician was punctual and efficient. He diagnosed the problem right away and fixed it quickly. That's twice now Alpha has helped us. Would not hesitate to call them again.

Appreciate how fast someone was able to get to us but that’s about the only positive. We were fairly frustrated that instead helping us identify and fix our problem, we essentially just paid 30 for someone to tell us to get a new door and system, or have a panel replacement. When I asked why it might be getting stuck I was told “these things just happen sometimes, the tracks look clear” and that “it might just keep happening”. We’re well aware the door is old, but we currently have other projects on the go and the door replacement isn’t our top priority. Thankfully after having some handy family, we figured out the problem on our own and fixed it. The cracked hinge was causing a wheel to jam slightly on the track, after replacing that hinge the door works like a charm. A little disappointed as this company was highly recommended. Thankfully there’s a lot of companies in Calgary, and when it comes time to replace our door we’ll find a company that cares a little more.

Extremely poor customer service. Have used them twice, the first time a tech came out, was super knowledgeable and helpful. Garage broke again so asked for the same tech to come back. Basically did the same thing but charged $100 more. When my husband told me what he paid I tried to follow up multiple times why it cost three times more. Made multiple phone calls and told someone will call you back each time. It’s been two weeks, I have called at least 4 times with no answer. They over charged us and won’t answer my calls. Beware.

I've been having issues with my garage door opener not responding to the remote. Given it was a holiday weekend (Easter), not too many service centres were open. Alpha was the only which was not only open, but able to send a technician over that afternoon. The tech explained what he was going to do and how long it would take (actually used it to train 2 other techs). He pointed out other potential issues and even helped program my existing wall mount keypad. Great service!

I hired the services of Alpha C Garage Door Repairman recently.

1) The technician showed up 2 hours late than their appointed time.
2) The technician whose name was Gili dropped the new garage spring on my entry way rug that created a hole, which when I indicated to him he said “so what? ”
3) After installing the new spring, I had to request him to check other points as well as lubricate the rollers, which I think is pretty basic and should be done automatically without the client requesting. Gili completed the spring installation work quickly which I appreciate, but he seemed a bit overwhelmed with my basic request. Today, I called the company and spoke with Bryan and told him the whole story, who heard me out but didn’t offer any solution. I won’t rate this company very highly.

My garage wouldn't close properly. Repair guy swung by same day. I let him in and he did the rest! Lickity split!

We had a problem with our garage door roller detaching from the railing bracket, we contacted Alpha, they sent a technician less than an hour. Serge was on site, he was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The price was very reasonable with great workmanship. Very good experience. I do recommend this company for any customer who is looking to get garage door repairs completed.

Giving a 2 because they were able to come very quickly and help me out of a bind. Unfortunately, beyond that, the door was never fixed. They came back twice, spent about 10 mins each time, the second time I was very sceptical that it was fixed and the technician was rude and argumentative when I shared that skepticism. I asked for a quote on a complete replacement, which was provided, however seemed very high based on some quick research. The very next day, after I was reassured the door was fixed it was doing the exact same thing. I called another company for a quote, The Garage Door Depot. They came and were so professional, answered all my dumb questions, and provided a quote. Their quote was $1500 less and the new door is being installed as I type this.

I strongly do not recommend anyone to use their services. They are liers and cheaters. They took money from me and did not repair my garage door.

My garage door opener died! I called a few places, heard some astonishing call out prices and then called Alpha C Doors! The tech was on time, polite, super smart, explained to me in details that I could understand what happened to my dead opener and gave options. I will be having them install a new opener when I get one. There was ZERO surprise for the call out rate! If your door is being strange, call these guys!

I recently used Alpha Garage door repair to replace a busted cable on my garage door.
The service that I received was a 10/10.
They were at my house within 1 hour, the technician was courteous, knowledgeable and got the job done very quickly.
He also instructed me on a few other details that needed attention and did not bill me extra. They also offer a warranty to all the work that they did.
I would highly recommend this company for any garage door service that you are in need of.

First time using this company, and was very pleased with the promptness of having somebody out the same day that I called and quality of service. Sergei was great with everything.

Over priced. Charged $30 service fee even after they came and fixed the garage door. Website clearly states this would be removed if you have the door fixed. Emailed them two time to have this fee removed. Ignored both times.

Was told there is a 5 year warranty. Wouldn’t be provided anything that stayed this warranty on paper or by email.

Would avoid these guys.
