I called Alpha regarding a possible frozen toilet supply line during the recent extreme cold snap. A day later I got a call from Paige at Alpha checking in to see if the supply line had thawed and if I needed someone to come out and look. It hadn’t and we had Mike G come by the following day. But by then the toilet had started working again so Mike helped ease my worries and did an inspection for leaks with the thermal camera. He was punctual, very polite and friendly. I will use them again if the need arises.

Alpha very quickly responded to our requirements. Nathan, our tech, was very informative, friendly and knowledgeable. Very happy with the work.

We were working on a DIY basement and did not have the expertise to install the bathroom plumbing and fixtures we had purchased from a big box store. Alpha Plumbing did a thorough job completing the project on time. We discovered a small leak under the sink after everything was completed, Alpha came back and discovered that the included faucet was defective. Alpha helped us negotiate a refund with the big box store and then sourced out a higher quality faucet at a great price.

They stood by their installation and followed-up with great customer service. This could have been a "not my problem scenario" because the sink was purchased from a 3rd party but Alpha worked on a solution with us regardless.

Technicians performed maintenance on a boiler and in-floor heating system and a cross-service backflow preventer. Work was completed quickly and professionally. Additional work was identified and completed. Technician showed me the old worn out components. Technicians were friendly, knowledgeable and provided useful information about the heating system.

Alpha Plumbing promptly responded to my urgent need of service to my rental income property. To me this is key “ prompt response, attentive Technician, and overall job to meet my satisfaction.

Mike arrived on time and asked if we had any concerns about our plumbing system. He then proceeded to do a complete inspection and listed everything that needed work or was good to go. He was very friendly and answered all our questions.

Price for 2 hours work and minimal materials was very high, quoted price for work changed after work was completed. An additional second signed quote also doubled in price with no reason given. We did not proceed with the second work scope as they could not explain why the price changed significantly. High prices and changes to prices after the quote has been signed and agreed to.

Steve was fantastic. Friendly, very knowledgeable and upfront with costs. He helped us with a gas stove fitting and was very efficient. Would recommend.

Used them for a simple BBQ hookup. Came on time and the guy was nice. I was billed over $300 which just seems exorbitant for less than 45 min of work. I wish I had asked what the average price for this service was so I could have phoned around. Maybe everyone charges that much in which case I apologize for this review.

Steven was fantastic. He gave me a detailed explanation of what needed to be done before he started, did it all way faster than I was expecting, took the time to give me some maintenance pointers before he left. I'll definitely be calling Alpha again in the future and hope they'll send Steven!

The service was great (thank you Sheridan) but the prices are ridiculous. Definitely not the company to call for easy fixes. We’re charged almost $500 for about 25 minutes of work that the worker themselves said was more expensive than he thought it should be.

We have an older home in Douglasdale and our main floor ceiling started dripping! Dan from Alpha Plumbing was able to send someone out the next day and got the poly B water pipes all fixed up. Thanks!

I hired Alpha to install a new boiler for my radiant in-floor water system late last year. They did a great job, and in two cases have promptly returned to take care of a couple items which needed to be taken care of. Would definitely recommend Dan and the team.

We got Dan to install a gas line during winter and typically it would have been done in summer because of weather and the cold temperature. But even then, Dan and Majesta kept us in the loop for everything, scheduled a time immediately to get it installed. Super professional and timely with the service. Alpha Plumbing installed a natural gas barbeque for me about a month ago. I wanted to install my barbeque off of the garage, which has a gas line to the furnace; they had a special tool which allowed them to do the job without removing a bunch of drywall or anything. Dan got the job done quickly and very thoroughly - I was impressed that he took the time to caulk the hole in the garage where my BBQ connection went outside. Demonstrates that he does a complete job. I had a suprisingly hard time finding someone who could do what I wanted without tearing apart the wall in my garage, but these guys were up to the task. Extremely satisfied, I strongly recommend Alpha Plumbing, they know what they are doing. Excellent customer service, both Dan and Majesta were very responsive and ensured I was satisfied. I am!

We recently had Alpha Plumbing extend our gas line in our yard, and have nothing but good things to say for the work performed by Dan and his team. Dan was friendly and helpful in addressing our request, even when our timeline shifted, they accommodated the new dates with no issues. Majesta in the office was always quick to respond to any of our questions, even if it was to let us know the request was received, and they would follow up soon. It was a relief to know they were working on things, and not to be in limbo wondering if they have received our questions / concerns. Alpha Plumbing was easy to deal with, and provided the service as requested.

Could not be happier with the service we received from this company. Dan was great and you can really tell that he does his work for customers the same way he would do it on his own home - top notch! No shortcuts were taken, and he took the time to put in extra effort to make our new gas line (for bbq, and fire pit) look as neat and hidden as possible. I contacted Dan at Alpha Plumbing because we needed to replace the hot water tank. Dan came over and provided us with two options; a tankless hot water heater or a regular high-efficiency water heater. We discussed prices and considering the amount of people in the household we decided it made best sense to go with the hot water tank. Dan was very helpful in helping us arrive at that decision. We made arrangements for him to come to the house on a certain day because renovations were starting and other contractors were scheduled right after. Job was efficient it was clean his crew came in there was no impact to the house. He committed to having the water back in circulation within hours and he met that commitment. I was very pleased with the service and with the attention to detail.

I engaged Alpha Plumbing to replace a sink, a faucet, and remove an old garburator that wasn't allowed in my condo unit any more. Dan and Majesta provided exceptional service and advice, and went out of their way to schedule a service time that worked best for me. I can whole heartedly recommend Alpha Plumbing and will be using them for all my future plumbing and boiler needs!

Although Dan was very prompt in his response to come out and repair my boiler, his diagnosis was incorrect. Had I proceeded with the recommended work I would have thrown away a minimum of $1000 to replace the entire feeder which wasn't the source of the problem. I have to suspect he wasn't familiar with my boiler system, otherwise he should have been able to ascertain the issue in a matter of a minute or so by pressing two buttons on the LED panel which gives a readout of the malfunction. Apparently, the problem was with the "temperature sensor". Another plumber with over 35 years experience sourced this out immediately and replaced the $90 part in short order. He mentioned the only problem with the feeder was a stuck gauge which only cost $40 plus labour. Replacing the gauge, or the feeder for that matter, would have done nothing to restore operation to my boiler, according to the other plumber. I had suspected the issue was much simpler from the start and for that reason I solicited another professional opinion, which I'm certainly glad I got. Dan had also recommended "general servicing" of the boiler and furnaces which the other plumber mentioned was completely unnecessary and quite expensive.

At first I was hesitant to call a plumber and tried to fix the tap 3x myself having the issue re-occur, out of fear of not knowing how much it would cost to fix.

I called and had Dan show up on the same day, he was amazing and transparent about pricing - told me the exact cost before the job started was extremely courteous and made sure to respect and keep my house clean (he used tubs to ensure no water leaked anywhere!)

He replaced the whole tap relatively swiftly and made sure I was fully aware of the cost beforehand, checked it 3/4x before leaving and made sure i was satisfied with the result.

Overall I am tremendously pleased witht he service from start to finish - was done quickly professional and with no surprised fees, also loving my shiny sleek new tap!

I will definitely be recommending Alpha Plumbing to friends and family should they have any plumbing issues.

We bought a water softener from Dan for our new house. He has great customer service, always answering my questions. Dan is polite, responsible and honest. We are very happy with his services. We highly recommend working with him.

Great service, fast and efficient. We had a couple valves replaced and an outside tap replaced. He explained everything before hand then walked me through it afterwards so as there were no surprises. The price was expensive but we had a lot of parts replaced that they needed to supply so it was cheaper then if we'd called another company which we have done in the past. All around great service and very friendly I will certainly call them again for their service.

The drain was backing waste water up onto the basement floor, so no plumbing could be used in the house. It’s first thing Monday morning and the usual plumber couldn’t come for two days.
Within hours, Dan had plumber John assess and fix the situation. Not cheap but the job was done: quickly, efficiently and hopefully long lasting!
Think we’ve just found a new plumbing company!

Alpha plumbing has been so reliable both times I have used them. The first time was for my hot water tank that needed to be replaced and the second time for some leaks in an old water tap. Both times Dan has been clear and efficient with the work that needs to be done. They have been great to deal with and I highly recommend them.
