We had a fantastic time horse riding at this facility. The instructors were knowledgeable and patient, making it a great experience for riders of all skill levels. The beautiful trails and scenic surroundings made the ride even more memorable.

We had such a great time! Everyone was so accommodating. Abby was great as a guide, if you get a chance ride with Abby!

My experience at Alpine Stables in Waterton Park on the 1-hour ride tour was nothing short of magical! From start to finish, this journey was a harmonious blend of natural beauty, expert guidance, and pure exhilaration for the entire family.

But what truly elevated the experience was witnessing the beautiful landscape and mountain views. My girls loved it! This was their very first time riding a horse, and they were led by none other than the owner's daughter and the owner himself. Their patience and enthusiasm made the girls feel at ease, and they couldn't stop talking about it long after the ride was over.

I had the privilege of riding Major, a magnificent horse who seemed to understand my every command. It was a testament to the exceptional training and care that the horses at Alpine Stables receive. Major added an extra layer of enjoyment to the ride, making it an even more memorable experience.

Our guides, with their wealth of knowledge and passion for the area, wove tales that immersed us in the land's history and beauty. The Elk heard will be coming in soon on Peak Rut, which I am told is a sight to see (Hundreds of them). They are the only ones allow to ride through.

We had an amazing time, our tour guide was very friendly and told us stories of the places she took us to. The ride was 2 hours long. The horses we were on were very gentle. Also, our guide made sure we were comfortable on our saddles.

My husband and I traveled to waterton and one of the attractions was to go for a ride. We arrived at the staples and saw about 15 horses all together tied to posts with saddles on, we asked when the next ride was and the older lady said 4pm. It's was 3pm so the horses were literally standing in +30 with saddles on, and no shade! No water to be seen. It was horrible to see and those horses were visibly tired, hot.

I stayed parked there wondering if by any chance I'd see someone give them water or take the saddles off. Noone did. No money would be taking from me to help these people profit from this.

If people did this to a dog they would be called animal abuse and I honestly see nothing different than leaving a dog unattended in a car. Shame on you all.

My wife and I did a 3 hour ride with Savanna today. She was great and we had a lot of fun, also got a lot of great pictures. Legs stiff for a little while after though lol.

We went on a one hour, beautiful ride right next to Waterton Lake. The girls that led the ride were great with the little ones we had and have us some fun facts as we went along! Wel'l definitely be back the next time we come to Alberta!

You cannot miss this if you are visiting Calgary, it’s only about 2hrs away, Waterton is a beautiful place. We had a lovely time yesterday at your Alpine stable. AJ Thanks to your beautiful daughter who took the initiative to take our pictures while riding. And also made sure to adjust the line so that all us friends were together one behind the other. It was an amazing ride, the Trail was sooooo beautiful: we went through the mountains and then into the forest and then by the Lake Shore and then back to the stable. AJ our guide was so passionate throughout telling stories about the horses, trails & the wildlife. The one hour went by so fast, It was lots of FUN and a FABULOUS experience! I love the way how you guys were so organised and had 3 guides on our tour, who made sure that everyone had a company throughout thus the whole group was so enthusiastic. I will miss you Jack! Great 2 hour ride this morning with my husband and son. Staff were nice, and knowledgeable. Great experience, would recommend to anyone coming to Waterton.

My boyfriend and I did a 2 hour morning ride with Lindsay on August 12th and it was amazing. She was so kind, funny and was genuine. We were riding Mango and Jack and they were amazing as well! It was perfect for beginners and the trail we did had beautiful views. A must do if you are in Waterton!

We had an awesome two hour ride today with Lydia. She was fantastic, had lots of knowledge and stories about the surrounding area. Beautiful stables / horses and we had a great ride. Highlight of our trip to Waterton, would highly recommend Alpine Stables!

Don’t listen to any of the bad reviews. This is the most incredible experience that you could ever sign up for. We did an all day ride up Vimy, which was the most amazing way to see Waterton. Our guide Josh was so calm, attentive and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable, and literally could not think of a single bad thing to say. Don’t miss out on this opportunity. The horses are amazing and VERY well cared for.

Staffs are really friendly.i had no experience in riding horses. They got different horses to assign you based on your experience.

We had a great 2 hour ride at Alpine. Staff were friendly and super helpful. We are not experienced riders and they made sure to give us a run down on what to do and not to. The walk took us through woodland, down by the lake and up the side of the mountain for epic views of the lake and mountains. Horses (Karl and Nelly) were the real stars. Definitely check this stable out- just make sure you book ahead of time so they can accommodate you.

Took our boys (6 & 8) horseback riding for the first time on Mother’s Day. Scenery was amazing, of course. Very nice facilities. The lady who helped set us up was very friendly and the guides were excellent as well. Oh! The horses! Awesome horses too! Can’t wait to go back.

My partner and I had a great time! It was my first time riding a horse and Shay and Cam were amazing! We saw elk and one bear, it was quite amazing. The stable is clean, the horses look healthy and extremely well taken care of, the prices are very reasonable and the staff is just simply amazing. Definitely worth it! We will be coming back next time we visit Waterton! Thank you again!
