You have to be a member to use go here, so no it is not a registry it's a private service you have to be a member for so don't come here for registry business. I was turned away walking in the door.

If you're new to Alberta this is the place to go. One place to get your car and home insurance, licence plates, driver's licence, and apply for health care. They are so friendly and helpful. It's a treat to do business here.

I would recommend getting an AMA membership solely on the fact that you’re not waiting 1-2 hours to renew a license that takes less than 15 minutes… plus the staff is always very friendly and welcoming!

This location is large and lots of staff to help with any travel or registry needs. Because of all the staff, the wait time was minimal which was wonderful as I had my elderly parents that needed new id's. The staff were so friendly and very patient with us. A pleasant experience.

Glad to deal with Willa, who helped me with my car insurance. She was very friendly and cheerful, made the process smooth and easy.

Staff member taking passport photos didn't know how to get the flash to work and the photos were rejected by the passport office. This cost us an extra four hours between running around to re-take the poorly lit photos and in getting through the passport office queue again.

We signed up for automatic car registration renewal with AMA. Our registrations expired in the same month but on different dates. They processed the fees on our credit card on the same date, but we never received them in the mail. Weeks after the fact, we go to the registry to enquire and they insisted we have to pay an additional $56 in printing fees for them to reprint them, despite that we never received them. They should have proof of postage, or at the very least realise that if neither of us received them, then maybe there is an error or their end.

Sia Sarvte was a excellent driving instructor. She was patient but very stern of what to do and what not to do. I feel I wouldnt be as good as a driver without her guidance.

Michaylla was awesome to deal with, fast and amazing all around. Especially for my unusual trip and not a lot of time to book. Really appreciated her help!

What a waste of time going to see the travel agents. Accompanied my grand parent trying to book a trip. Agent was belittling, was rude and didn’t know what she was talking about. It’s all a money grab. No discounts for being an ama member. Save your money and just book yourself.

We had 6-7 tasks that we needed to get done and Charlotte was very helpful. She was kind. She made very helpful recommendations. She managed to get through all of the items gracefully, and without a hitch. Everyone has been kind and helpful here.

They advertise "exclusive services" but you'll be treated worse or equal than anywhere else in the city. Staff become visibly excited and gleeful the worse things go for you - staff want you frustrated. I've been treated better getting my vehicle out of impound than trying to renew my registration here.

I have nothing but high praise for AMA. I've only experienced one issue and even then they went beyond my expectation and corrected the problem.
I am the Queen of flat tires, after experiencing yet another one, calling for a tow, worrying about how I was going to navigate my day with appointments and picking my son up, to my surprise they fixed it right in the spot. It took 10 min. And they were awesome!
Best company around. And if you complain about price, if I had to tow it, bring it to a service station, etc etc. It would have cost double my membership. No comparison, get a membership, you won't be disappointed.

I had a nice experience last time when I got my vehicle registered. This time, when I went to have a quote for a home insurance, it was terrible. The lady at the reception confirmed that there was only one person ahead of me. So, I decided to wait. After seeing the lady leaving and nothing happening, I asked what the situation was. The receptionist told me that the attendant is serving other people at the moment and that her other staff was still on lunch break and that's why she gave me the 800 number to call. You better tell me right at the beginning if you don''t want me to wait and to call instead. And, please refrain from saying that you are blond and it's a Monday. Sadly, I have to select a star to post this.

Always friendly and helpful staff. First time I noticed the CURRENCY ATM. I use this office for travel info (also pick up free maps, tour books), passport photo and vehicle registration. You do need a membership but one tow job, tie repair covers the cost easily.

As AMA members we use this branch due to great Westend location. Staff are always pleasant, welcoming and efficient. Today, we added extra funds to our ESSO gas card. This was done in the registry department today where we were greeted politely and our requested service was performed efficiently.

Michaylla is absolutely amazing! We are travelling for a wedding and the agent in charge of the wedding, (she will go unnamed for now), only cared about her upcoming vacation. Poor customer service, awful phone manners, no follow up phone call after she took my credit card number and zero care for the people that she has been entrusted with to transport, house and safely return home.

Michaylla helped us book our flights and hotel with a smile and much laughter a couple of months ago when I first learned of the utter incompetence of the wedding agent. When I called Michaylla today for help, after learning that the wedding agent dropped the ball again or in my opinion just didn't care, (She was not able to get a member of the wedding party, the wedding is in 2 weeks, on a flight, nevermind at the same hotel as the bride and groom), Michaylla was there in no time flat working on it for me.

Michaylla to the rescue! She was able to get our friend on a flight and staying at the same hotel for the wedding with no stress and the peace of mind knowing that we will all get to and from our destination with ease.

I am grateful for her service and will forever use Michaylla as my travel agent. I highly recommend her to anyone who is travelling and wants easy, friendly service! Go See Her. Seriously!

The person that came to boost my battery was very helpful and I am grateful to him especially in this brutal weather.

I have a bone to pick with your automated phone service, it is lousy, you ask if I want to cancel a call then proceed to list me as requesting assistance. You should at least have one line going directly to a “HUMAN” by that I mean a living breathing person that can differentiate between a yes or no answer.

IRIS was amazing to work with. She is quick, she is straight forward while being professional, and still seemed genuine. I walked in with a mess and walked out with a load off. Thanks Iris
