The team here is always on point! Great staff with great attitudes. Anthony, be proud of the team you have here, they are second to none! Also Jim is amazing and always makes you feel at home. AMA should give him a bonus/pay raise, or send him to an all inclusive river/castle cruise in Europe! Thanks for the service and my heart is at ease for my little trip!

Really not impressed with the staff here tonight. I walked in the door at 5.41pm - 19 mins before closing and joined the main licenses line while instantly hearing a couple of ladies across the room muttering and gasping at people arriving at such a time.
I waited over 10 mins in line, only then to be told by the front desk staff member that to get an international drivers license I actually need to go to the travel desk, which turned out to be run by the same ladies who were muttering about late arrivals from elsewhere in the room.
So now it’s 6-7 mins before closing, the two ladies then come up to the travel desk after I approached it and one threw their arms up saying “oh you’re too late, everything is closed - you’ll have to come back another day”…no apology or anything. I live 25 mins away - so that’s nearly 2 hours of my time for 2 separate trips.

I have worked services, retail and sales before - if staff don’t want to help customers close to or slightly past the posted closure time, then you either need to lock the door early or extend the shift-end time, because in almost all cases it takes more than at least a few minutes to deal with any customer needs.

Also a reminder that we customers are choosing to pay a subscription for AMA (the most expensive one for us as we have multiple vehicles and tow a trailer) and expect better customer service from their staff, even if it is getting close to the end of a shift. Open hours are open hours.

My experience with the Insurance department recently has been fantastic. My insurance advisor, Suzana Zecevic, really went above and beyond with helping me to choose the right options - and it all came out at a lower price than anywhere else I looked! I've never had a bad time going in there, as the service is always fantastic and the folks who work there go above and beyond to help whenever they can.

First time I've had to use my roadside assistance and the wait time on the phone was 26 min.after a long list of numbers to choose for help. Very disappointed. All I am trying to find out is how to get a tow.
My daughter was told 2 days ago, that it would be several days just to get her car tire inflated.good thing we not broken down on the side of the road or we would freeze to death and that would look VERY bad on the evening new s to AMA

I phoned ahead to secure American money for a trip, was told over the phone it wouldn't be a problem, they have lots on hand. Drove all the way down to pick up. Was told upon arrival that they don't offer currency exchange anymore. The employees in the branch were polite, but it was an incredibly frustrating experience to be told one thing and then to show up and not have it be true.

Could not get registration done due to not being a paying member. I was discriminated against by not being provided a service based on affiliation. This is against the law. Will be filing human rights violations.

My fiance and I went here on a Saturday to do a number of things (new membership, vehicle registration, AB health card, and marriage certificate). We were there early afternoon and expected it to be very busy, there was a line but it moved quickly. Leah was the representative who helped us and she was incredible! We were able to get everything done in less than half an hour. Thanks for the great service.

Absolutely disappointed.i have a plus membership.my car broke down in there parking lot after hours.on a summer day it was a 6 hour wait to get towed, making for a 2 to 3 am pick up.the phone staff earned the only stars available she could.she was lovely friendly and as good as you can hope.however i hired a private tow service they picked up and took it within about 2 hours.so i could go to sleep and work the next day.i will second guess getting or having a membership after this.management- keeping service levels is more important than you think.i may expect 6 hours in the winter during a storm.never in summer.keep staff

Had a tech show up to change from my winter tires. He insisted the replacements were also winter tires…no proof. Then started fault finding. Rolled one tire measured it to find one side was 3, another side of same tire was 4 but basically was looking for the lower side. He said 2 tires had good treads- over 4, one was low on air (but showed no leaks) and yes the forth he measured had varied measurements. He canceled my appointment, took pictures and then boom…. He asked to give me a quote for 2 tires from Lube City. Turned it down of course. Wasted my whole hour… after he showed up late and was more intent on selling tires. I had used the same tires before Winter - a licensed mechanic works on my car. It was my first time trying the AMA mobile tire change. My previous experiences have been extremely pleasant. I would still recommend AMA to others.

AMA driver was faster than estimated. He filled my tire, and put me back on the road. I was in the middle of no where, it was late, I was stressed, I had a a creepy car lurking by. Driver waited till I was gone, made sure my tire was safe to drive on. Will continue my membership

I had to use my AMA Membership on the weekend my car was olive oil and I was unable to open the hood to do to some mechanical work that was done on it previously. I called him he and requested a courtesy tow. The level of service I received from both the agents that took the call and the driver who worked with city wide was amazing they got my car towed home perfectly quickly and safely I was also able to catch a ride with the driver so that I didn’t have to front the bill on an Uber.

If you don’t have an AMA membership and you drive a car I would suggest that you get one because like me, you could save money on a rather expensive tow bill. It’s also nice peace of mind to know that somebody is out there that you can call and get roadside assistance.

Just had an amazing experience here. Had an agent (maybe Robert? - his name tag said serving members since 96) who was very efficient and clear. Went in for a license renewal and he caught the fact that my registration was expiring next month and pointed it out to save me an extra trip back. Hard to find people like this anymore - great experience.

I had an amazing experience with Laura from Business Registry Services. She was VERY knowledgable and was able to easily help me with my corporate changes and annual return. Such friendly, professional and cost effective service. I would 10/10 recommend using AMA Business Registry Services.

Okay, not so much location specific (because really, i use the app for everything and haven’t been inside an actual office in over a decade) but what a great company. We had a tow truck driver come help us out. They are always so professional and kind. I had my kids with me this last time and the driver chatted with them, made them smile, showed off all the lights in the truck etc. It probably didn’t take him any longer to do the job, but every single child said it was their “best day ever” - kinda makes me wonder why I pay for recreational activities

AMA was incredibly unhelpful in my breakdown. Service was not helpful and after the supervisor re listened to all of my calls and agreed that this was never brought up or explained on the many opportunities they had, AMA still refused to tow my broken down vehicle. Thanks for nothing AMA. Word of advice DO NOT go off of the many promises they have on their membership page. Comb through the fine print because even if you sign up online and don’t receive a pamphlet they will expect you to comb through the website looking for information you wouldn’t know would be relevant to you.

Would not recommend AMA Willowpark for Class 5 road testing. The examiner (named Vicky) my daughter had was quite rude and grumpy to her. I understand the seriousness of the job, but kindness is always important. Nervous and anxious teenagers do not deserve to be treated this way!

I went to the Willow Park location and registered two vehicles. I had to go several times to complete the process. I received excellent service from all the staff. Judy and Laura went above and beyond to complete the process. Many Thanks!

OUTSTANDING customer service. The employees at this specific AMA actually give me hope for humanity. Door lady was so kind and lovely (First-class flight attendant/hostess energy). Having the registry service that I needed to get done has never been easier, faster, or more pleasant than this.

The service was fine. However half of the Willowpark staff was not wearing masks. That includes those sitting in the open office and customer facing staff. Even though there is plexiglass at the kiosks and a person who herds customers to socially distance, it's pretty much all for show when so many people are mask-less in an enclosed area. If you can do your business online with AMA, that's the safer option and if you can't maybe pick a more responsible business during these times.

Staff are slow moving, unprofessional, useless, moody and rude. They seem to lack a basic sense of customer service. They will literally treat you like a cattle number. Will never come back to this location. A monkey in a Tutu could have done a better job than all of the staff members in office at 10am on Monday October 19th.

Bad service, bad people, they are just relying on their US brand power. They ruined my car and when I reached to them, their lawyer seemed more like a Rogue person rather than a lawyer. Don't trust them at all

Paul Gilmore is my travel agent for a number of years now and has always given me good service but this year he was far and away the best service I have had for many years in any field!
I was dealing with the Hong Kong issue and my flights being changed without notification etc.and also 14 hour time difference Asia to Canada. I got an email message back saying Paul was leaving on holidays the next day.but he stayed up until after midnight to call me and we got the problem solved (while he was packing to leave in the morning)
I don’t k ow anyone who would have done that in the travel industry or any other for that matter.
He is number one on our list of people we can count on!

Kurt who was my examiner for my class 5 at this registry was not very patient. He threatened to walk out on me during the feedback session because he said I was arguing with him when I merely had a different perspective of the issue.

Had to register a new vehicle last week and got the pleasure of working with Laura. She helped us with the whole process, but also noticed my boyfriend's ID was going to expire soon so renewed it, told us about Disney World discounts that AMA offers for an upcoming trip and told us how to pre-purchase movie passes that we were not aware of. She knew everything about EVERYTHING and I would go out of my way to go back to this location and ask for her because she made things so easy. I have never experienced such help and friendliness before at AMA.

My car needed towing so I called AMA the wait was 18 hours just to get a call back. They clearly state that they will reimburse you some money if you get towed through someone else but when I went to AMA qith my reciept for getting towed with the name of the company and the charge for towing they wouldnt reimburse me any money saying there wasnt enough information.

All the tow truck driver had was a debit machiene but ama didnt care.

Ive been with them for years and this isnt the first time they have been unhelpful. When booking a trip through them they booked to land the wrong day in japan and made ME pay $100 change fee even though it was their mistake.

They charge you for services they don't really privide (the towing) and they charge you to book a flight for you then charge you more when they mess up. Absolutly terrible.

A great location with some great staff!
Why wouldn't you get a membership and enjoy all the perks which go along with membership?
If you have a vehicle, the idea you could ever use their service is of great comfort!
All the other services are the icing on the cake!

A really good AMA! Everyone was pretty friendly and helpful and I didn't have to wait long to get my license changed. There's a lot of parking around which makes it really accessible as well!

Came in around 10: 00am on a Wednesday and was in and out within 10 minutes for a Passport photo. Alexis was wonderful and efficient, the other friendly staff greeted me with a smile.

Nick unit 43 driver is awesome. Car broke down on deerfoot and he was there fast to help me. He even followed me home when I got a ride from the dealership to give me my sun glasses that I forgot in his truck. What an awesome guy! Glad I have a membership with AMA

Highly do not recommend going through AMA for anything, thought we were booking a easy stress free vacation we thought wrong. We missed an entire day of our vacation because AMA forgot to inform us about flight changes. I would spend your money with a company that actually cares about customer and them getting the best experience.

AMA in general has been extremely helpful and nice. They’ve boosted my car numerous times and have done a great job. This most recent experience at the Willow Park location was great though. I scheduled a road test through the Alberta government scheduler and the examiner never came. The employees worked very hard to try to call the agency and were very apologetic even though it wasn’t their fault. I got a call from the government later that day and was rescheduled for the same day at a later time. I came back and the employees remembered me even though it was packed and handed out candy to people waiting in line. Overall very nice people willing to help you! Would definitely return for services at this location.

Fast and helpful service. They checked the information I requested quickly, then took the time to explain what it meant. This location can perform a wide variety of services from automotive to travel. I will definitely return for other services and refer others here.

I am horribly disappointed in this company, do not book any vacations through them. The company does not care about you or your well being while traveling. My family booked a vacation through them and they never kept us informed on any of our flight changes or happening for a our vacation, because of them we ended up sitting in an airport for 18 hours without a flight.

I did here my class 5 road test a week ago and it was my first experience with this office in general. I can only recommend it to everyone. Everyone was so kind, there was some misunderstanding based on the information in the system, but the lady at the counter was trying to solve everything in a very nice manner. I did the road test with Michelle and was so happy to get her. She made me feel super relaxed at the very beginning and explained all the things I haven't done perfectly. Thank you so much guys!

There were technical problems with the first time my mom applied for her AHC. Long story short, the customer service was excellent throughout the frustrating process.
Bonnie made sure to get to the bottom of the problem, proceeded to call me with the solution after making a few calls to AHS and the like.
I appreciate the time and care taken at the desk and the time Bonnie took to remedy the situation.

Edit: They have continued correspondence and provided more assistance. I am satisfied with the customer service. I am left hopeful that it was likely a communication error and not that they are just pushing sales.

Was looking for assistance in getting proof that I had gotten my full license over 2 years ago. I am currently out of the country and via email and my mom going into this location on my behalf was able to purchase a driver abstract, unfortunately they sold this knowing that it would not provide the information that I requested and then informed me that the are unable to provide that information. I am unimpressed that they did not tell me this initially and had me purchase useless $30 piece of paper. Not impressed with the customer service at this location.

I recently tested for my Class 4 road test at AMA Willow Park. Policy states that you can not choose the person who will test you, but if you are fortunate enough to test with Darrell. S, consider yourself lucky! I failed my first attempt; and let me be clear. I FAILED, Darrell did not fail me. It was my errors that earned me the "F. " Darrell is a former driving instructor who is excellent at his job as a road tester and takes the time to review areas of concern to help you be successful the next time. Failing a road test is frustrating and expensive, but failing is not the fault of the person testing you. Class 4 tests have tighter restrictions than a Class 5 Advanced, so do your due diligence, prepare well and hope that you have the opportunity learn from Darrell!

The registry staff operate on acting as they are the government. They have forgotten how to think? The staff need retraining, I'm sorry but its true. The staff asked why we do not have a current passport? Reason your client is not allowed to fly so why would we renew it? Next We tell the agent we have current drivers license which has our age, passport, a govt document that required much more paperwork than this so why can you not age verify? Hey we even had an Ab Health card. It would not be a far stretch to assume the Age verification.

Horrible service, I went in there with my boyfriend to incorporate about a month or 2 ago, was helped by this woman with a thick accent.she was on the corporate side. After talking in circles about the share structure, she told us to come back the next day because there was not enough time to do the work before closing. (We were sitting there since 5: 15). But if she had not been looking down at the papers infront of her the whole time while we were sitting and waiting for 20 min, maybe she would have had time!

The next day we went in first thing and were incorporated in less than 15 min.
