As a property owner, I have been dealing with this company for over 15yrs and never had any problems. I do not reside in Calgary and relied on their services to purchase and repair another property. My properties have never been vacant for more than a couple weeks. They are very professional and courteous. I highly recommend doing business with them.
Was in the house for 7 years. When I moved in I had to wash everything and clean the place top to bottom. While living there I unplugged clogged drains, fixed water leaks, fixed the shower and kitchen faucet. When the microwave broke I asked to have it replaced and was told it's up to me to replace the piece of supplied equipment No, not my job as a renter. Cleaned the place even better than I did on my way in when I moved out. Do not sign their paper work when moving out until the cash is dealt with. They left an absolute joke of a returned damage deposit. I refuse to cash that cheque and hope it causes them problems. Just don't expect to get a garage deposit back with this company, or at least don't waste your time cleaning or fixing anything
Amhurst Property Management has managed my 21 suite apartment building for most of the years since 1994. They are my present property manager. Saadat and his staff are professional, trustworthy and conscientious. As a property owner, I am very pleased with their service and I would highly recommend them.

Amhurst is a very knowledgeable company and works as a team with the board to manage all of the needs of the corporation. The staff is well versed in the Alberta Condo Act and all aspects of processes necessary to effectively manage the corporation. Amhurst and their associates are capable in managing complex capital projects.

I dealt with Amhurst for almost 5 years with the last property I rented. They were always very respectful and responsive with getting any problems fixed. Compared to the property management company I currently am dealing with it is night and day how much better they are.
There was an attempt to break into my condo which resulted in damage to my front door. Although the door leading into the unit is insured as per the bylaws, 'the corporation will not be picking up the expense' as the incident was considered an 'owner issue'.
I have been meaning to leave a review for a while now. It’s been a while since I lived in a property managed by Amhurst but I still remember them very fondly and really want to express my appreciation.
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Amhurst is the word “dignity”. They always treated me with utmost respect and responsiveness and I get the impression they would be like this for anyone. Narmin is very kind and so was the gentleman who did my initial walk-through and inspection when leaving (although I forget his name).
I have been lucky enough to have a number of great landlords, and Amhurst is one of the top of my list. You will be taken care of well by these people.
We love Amhurst! Finding a decent landlord/property management co in YYC is usually a gruelling task, but Amhurst meets and exceeds our expectations on a regular basis. Amhurst has been the apex of compassionate, efficient, and, professional. Emails and complaints are always addressed in a timely fashion, and they're very respectful of our time and space. We will likely be using this company for all of our future housing needs thanks to their platinum level service.
From a renters perspective, Amherst has been great to work with. They are organized and professional. As a renter, I appreciate how quickly problems are taken care of.
My recommendations after staying at their property for 3 years: take pictures before you move in and send a copy to the management, as that might help you when you are moving out. Never take any word for granted unless it is written and keep a copy safe. I would say that they are usually prompt if there are issues with the property.
Saadat and his team are amazing to work with! They care about their tenants and are on top of keeping the buildings they are responsible for well maintained and safe. Definitely recommend!

Before I even knew they existed, I did work for one of their clients in the Northeast. The client hired us directly for some modifications to their newly leased space and couldn't stop raving about how happy they were with their landlord. I later discovered that it was Amhurst.
Fast forward about 6 months, and I suggested them to my parents for their rental unit. Within a matter of days Amhurst had them sorted out at a fair price. My Parents are very happy.
Renters beware. Seriously. I had heard similar concerns from other people who have rented from this property management company and wish I had taken their advice. Do not recommend doing business with this company at all.
Landlords and renters are their bread and butter. They seems to be frustrated and bitter with both. I wanted to give them business but they exposed themselves very quickly by their arrogant mannerism. Too bad for their business.
I have worked with Amhurst for over 10 years in various buildings and have always had a positive experience. I would highly recommend them to property owners and service companies.
This is the worst property management company. I moved out on the last day of August but I was charged for the rent of September automatically from pre-authorized bank. While they scheduled my move out in mid August. So they had plenary of time working on my case to avoid this over charge. I will give a zero star to them if I can.
How could I reply? OK, I just type my comments here. Based on our conversation, you will refund my money at least ten days later. That's so-called prompt. While you took my money as the earliest as you can. First, I moved out just because the carpet in the bedroom was off-gassing so strongly that I cannot live there anymore. I complained about the odour thing to Amherst once I found symptoms like severe throat pain, running tears and fever. Meanwhile I tried everything I can to kick off the odour, such as using air purifier and activated carbon bags etc. While it took Amhurst more than a month to address the simple problem. And their final answer is they cannot fix the problem. I had nothing to do but to move out to avoid health problems. My doctor suggested me to move out and he was willing to write me a notice, by which I can move out freely without paying penalty. But I paid the penalty as breaking the lease, because I don't want to waste my valuable time dealing with such a company that NEVER solves problems. What's more funny? Amhurst required me to clean the carpet in the bedroom although I didn't really live there, I only lived there for ONLY two nights. Good job, Amhurst. Second, if you really care about your reputation, just try to solve problems rather than always finding excuses. My suggestion for you is avoid wasting time watching for the comments from your customers, but to do your job better in the future.
What can I say about Khalid and his team? Efficient, effective, and unparalleled response time. Their emphasis on service and people management is the reason they have and will continue to keep my business. Property management the way it should be, stress free.
These people have been amazing. Been with them over 3 years now, and there response time to serious issues is immediate. This feburary in the middle of -30 temperatures I came home with my 2 little ones and my house was an ice cube. Furnace broke. I called and they had a REAL furnace repair man over in less than 2 hours (not some backdoor contractor hired on the side). They fixed the hat issue that night. Saved my and my family from freezing or spending time in a hotel. Then again last week at 5 PM on the friday of a long weekend. The fan started making horrible loud noises.called and a repair man was over again in less than 2 hours. It was the fan and motor this time. This is the best service for a very important issue I'v ever had in the last 15 years of renting. I'v had so many landlords over the years wait 1-2 weeks before even calling a legit repairman after they've come by to look them self's. Amhurst is a very professional company that cares about its tenants health, safety, and well being. I am very impressed and happy with there service. 5/5 stars
Great company to rent from - have been a tenant with them for over 4 years and have had no issues at all! If I have had any problems, I will email them and they will respond normally within the day, no matter how minor the issue is. I also like that they take time to do the Annual tenant visits as it is nice to have that in-person contact. I would recommend them!
Amhurst listens and responds to all our requests, and even accommodated to our needs with special requests. They are not intrusive, however check in periodically, they are easy to reach.
Having dealt with landlords and property management company's for over 7 years, this is one of the most positive experiences I've had.

I've been with Amhurst for just over 3 years.now I've had nothing but positive interactions with everyone at Amhurst and I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent a home. It's been a pleasure renting with them and I don't see myself leaving anytime soon.
I am a tenant at Royal Oak Point and back in November 2018, I got a city parking tag ticket on my car at my own stall from the security company that Amhurst works with. I emailed the client service the response was " security company has accidentally ticketed all of you, thinking that you all are in visitor parking. It’s a mistake and I’ll get the tickets waived". Unfortunately, the waiving process took much longer that I though and it's still outstanding till now. It's been 5 months since November last year. I asked the client service three times to clear the ticket and it took about one month to get a response email, plus, the ticket is still not waived. The amount has also raised from $30 to $95. All these happened are very unacceptable and I definitely don't feel we have a proper management.
