Just bad, I booked an appointment with my dr then they called me back saying the time I booked my doctor actually isn’t even in and I’ll need to call back to re book, only to be on hold for 6 mins I then hang up and call back only to be on hold for 10 more mins before I got an actual person

We came for our two kids less than an hour before they closed. We had never been there before and they were so nice and accommodating. Definitely not a typical walk in experience.

Staff are a joke. The DR is a great physician with great service. However, front end staff are not professional, not informative, or competent

I really like our family DR but have to be agree with all the reviews on here. The people who work as front desk of this clinic are extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. There are many cases they treated me so poorly that I had to walk away.
The incident happened a couple weeks ago between the front desk clerk and myself made me to post a review of this clinic. And to my surprised (not surprised), so many negative reviews of this clinic of their front desk staffs. It totally makes sense as why I keep seeing new staffs there but not many of them are nice and friendly.

Had an appointment this week for a prenatal regular check up for my baby who is about to be a year. We waited 20 min even though I had an appointment and the appointment was like 5 min no joking.she was weighted but not measured. The lady that helped with that seems to not enjoy her Job. The Dr just touched her knees, then asked a couple questions that was it. No general information, no advise, I have to inform and educate myself as a new mom on the internet. Additionally do not make an appointment online, there is not response, need a new clinic.

Office is usually very busy and hard to get through via phone. Had Dr. Farrah as a family gp, she was supposed to call to fill a prescription and never did. They just moved my booking 3 days later with no communication what’s so ever. I already had reservations due to her prescribing various meds with no testing. She lacks patience empathy and not very personable. Very pushy and quick to get out her prescription not pad. I will be finding a new office with better service and doctors

We booked an appointment with them six months in advance. We needed to reschedule and rebook for a week later over the phone, and they confirmed our appointment for 7: 00 PM. We go in and they have no record of us ever booking despite our confirmation emails. We showed them the email, the phone number we called and the address of our confirmation email- we were definitely at the right place!

Unbelievable - with the family doctor situation in Calgary we needed to book so far in advance and we drove over 20 minutes to get to this clinic - when we got there they said they were closing even though our appointment was scheduled at 7: 00! Despite the fact that we clearly had our information on file to get confirmation emails they still had zero record of us. Receptionist (s) never took ownership and defaulted to "that's weird" after we showed them our confirmations and call history. Both my wife and I felt very disrespected and in shock. Would not recommend booking with this clinic.

Booked a doctor meet and greet 4 months in advance and then called the day before to check in and they said I had no appointment and they had so record of my name and are now no longer accepting patients. Horrible patient service.

Dr. Hanif is awesome!

Dr. Hanif and the entire staff at the clinic especially Amanjot at the front desk are beyond amazing. When you have an appointment, they will spend the whole scheduled period with you if need be; I know when I come in to see Dr, he’s already reviewed the reasons for my coming in and my file. I never feel rushed, and he always asks if I have any other questions. He’s awesome.

Me and my family have been going here since they opened. Dr Asher is a very knowledgeable Doctor. The clinic is very nice and staff are very friendly. Will keep coming.

Have been going to this clinic for a number of years. Our family followed Dr Asher to this clinic as we are very pleased with her as our family doctor. On occasion the other doctors in this clinic have seen myself as well, and I am pleased with them. Reading the reviews I don’t understand where they give bad comments on the front end staff, as I have never had an issue. Making appointments has never been a problem. If you are looking for a new doctor I would recommend to check this clinic out.

Well, I was going to give this clinic a try good thing I decided to phone. I booked my meet and greet.well I'm glad I didn't take a day off work because they had no record of it. I just wish there was a decent doctors office in the city: (

I have been to this clinic many times when I’m in a pinch and can’t see my family doctor. I have been misdiagnosed and the doctors have been unhelpful. I had strep throat back in January and they did a rapid test which is not cover under Alberta health and it came back negative. I then went to my family doctor because it was becoming a bigger issue and I did another test there and it came back positive HOWEVER based upon the look of my throat she prescribed me antibiotics which helped me right away. I now am almost certain I have strep throat and am unable to go back to work and just wanted a prescription but she wouldn’t give me antibiotics until she gets my results back. Overall I have never been happy after a visit to this clinic. Try somewhere else.

Dr. Farah is fantastic the only negative is the front desk, very frustrating being on hold for 20 min

I've been a patient of Dr. Asher's for several years. She listens to me and shows care and concern. She does thorough examinations and refers me for investigative tests and/or to a specialist when required. She has helped me through a lot of difficult times. The front desk personnel are always friendly and accommodating.

Funny how the clinic puts a sign, “doctors accepting new patients” but insists on booking a meet and greet first which is in May 2023 as the next available appointment and advised you to go as a walk-in in the meantime while waiting for your meet and greet in May. The front desk mentioned that a lot of people are looking for family doctors but you don’t have to put signs if the doctor’s next meet and greet is 5 months away.what a joke!

There message indicates it's quicker to send email for appointment? I have sent 5 emails since Monday Nov 21 2022 and NO response?

Extremely unsatisfactory response from the front end staff. Doctor Farah is very nice but to get an appointment or book a phone call is a hassle. The front end staff puts the call on a long hold and when they finally answer the phone call, it is advised by then that doctor doesn’t do a phone call or appointments are available after 1 week. Very unprofessional response from front end and rude behaviour. They would argue over the phone. It’s not been just once but several times that I have noticed this. When I first visited the clinic I really liked the services and efficiency. Everything since then had been a gone show. I am glad the doctor is really nice. Sticking around only because of Dr Farah but the way front end team responds I feel like changing the clinic. Please do not accept more new patients if the current ones cannot be served in time.

I went to the walk-in clinic on Thursday November 17, after battling with a sore throat for several days. I knew I had strep, I’ve had it several times before. I was in agony. They swabbed my throat and then told me I would get a call if I was positive by Sunday at the latest, depending on the lab. I asked if I could be given the antibiotics so that I wouldn’t have to wait potentially three days for treatment if it was strep and was told no, and that antibiotics didn’t make a huge difference. Sunday comes, and no call. By this point my throat had swollen to the point where I couldn’t get any solids down but also liquids. My lymph nodes in my throat were the size of clementines. I was extremely ill. I finally got in to my family doctor on Monday and by that point I had not eaten solids in three days. She took one look at me and she was instantly very concerned. She looked up the results of my swab because she too thought this was strep as I couldn’t even open my mouth more than a couple inches. No swap was processed at the lab. She took another and started me on antibiotics immediately. I called the clinic that night to ask my results and the (very rude) receptionist told me she don’t know anything and that was a lab issue. Then next day I had mobile paramedics come to my home to give me fluids, and was almost sent to the emergency to have my throat surgically drained. Tuesday night the doctor called and told me “I was positive for strep” by this point I could barely speak. I said why did it take six days to get lab results and she said it looks like no one had sent in my swab- they figured it out Monday when I called to ask. I then developed a secondary infection so I was on two antibiotics for over two weeks becasue I needed a second dose because my infection was so bad. Both came with some pretty hard side affects Had the swab of been sent in Thursday or had I of been given the antibiotics then I would have avoided all of that. The doctor was nice, but the error in the swab-whoever’s it was- cost me a lot in terms of my health.

So rushed. Required us to book a meet and greet apt and then a separate appointment for a physical even though we just had one. Doctor basically said they will most likely always be behindschedule because they book appointment and walk-ins in between each other. They had all of our contact information wrong.

Exhausting

I can typically get an appointment within a few days and the walk in option is convenient when I cant. However, the booking of an appointment is painful. Either I sit on hold for upwards of 10 minutes or my email request is never responded to which is surprising considering how many people are usually at the front desk.

Really appreciate the doctors and staff here. Have been coming in as a walk in patient for about a month until they can take me on as a regular patient in the new year. They listen to my concerns and are diligent about calling me back my test results. Highly recommend.

This office never answered the phone or put you on hold for ever and we can't leave message. Not happy.

Great doctors and care. I would give 5 stars if it wasn’t for reception. I find they aren’t all on the same page and their ability to multitask is nil. Holding on the phone for literally 10 minutes just about every single time you call isn’t acceptable.

My family doctor moved here. I love him to death but the front staff are just absolutely horrible. He’s the only reason I’ll deal with them. They take over 20 minutes to answer the phone, and you need to constantly call and email them to finally get them to send you your required doctors note that the doctor wrote up almost a week ago. They’re horrible.

I'm super disappointed because my family doctor just switched over to this location, and I understand there might be a higher rise of patient traffic through the clinic now, but I cannot get ahold of the front staff to book an appointment. I'm on medications that need to be taken daily, and I can't risk withdrawals while waiting for a call back or email back to get an appointment after I've reached out plenty of times. Thankfully I have some for when times happen like this, because the lack of communication isn't good at all.

Awful service, never answers phone even when they’re open, and I emailed for an appointment, 2 weeks and not a SINGLE email (I even got the confirmation), don’t waste your time, trying to get an appointment is like pulling teeth

Front staff is terrible. They hung up the phone on me three times after waiting 20 minutes for them to answer. I am trying to get results from my xrays but no one is willing to help me. Never had an experince where the staff on the phone was so rude and had terrible customer service. I would not recommend this place or wasting your time on the phone because you won’t get anywhere.

Waited on hold for ten plus minutes three times this week to get an appointment, kept getting disconnected after waiting all that time!

Made a walk-in, my son is sick. They asked that if we can do a swab test before coming. Yet we did, only 20mins passed then we called, they said they are already full. You should have told us before that you are not accepting before instructing us to swab. Waste of time.

My family doctor moved here from Fishcreek Medical Clinic. I love my family doctor. But THIS clinic is horrible. The front staff (when they answer phones) are incredibly unprofessional. You’ll remain on hold for 20mins listening to a recorded message about how they don’t take abuse. I don’t doubt that they deal with angry callers all the time, my blood pressure goes sky high when I’ve had to call. When they do answer the phone you receive the worst help, they do not care to offer any help, one hundred percent 100% they just want to get you off the phone. No wonder they need the recording stating they don’t accept abuse! They do it to themselves! The last time I was on hold, front staff answered with “Ya? ”
Really? That’s how you speak to patients?
I love Dr. Hanif and Dr. Yala but this clinic makes me want to run. I get stressed every time I need to call. Emails aren’t much better. You email and wait and wait and hope for the best: (All the negative reviews I’ve read are true. PLEASE HOLD YOUR FRONT DESK / ADMIN staff accountable.

I have been to this clinic and my experience has been fantastic. The entire team was amazing. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone.

Met with Dr. Noor and am now a patient there. The staff is great and the location is in a very convenient location for anyone in the SE.

Dr Farah is great. She is very caring and pays attention to her patients health and always follows up.

An absolute waste of time. I came here to get a referral to an OBGYN but had a few appointments, that were horrible, before I got referred. I had an annual check up and the doctor called saying everything was normal, 3 weeks later I went to my OBGYN and they told me I had a bacterial infection that was found at my previous appointment that the doctor missed. This infection could have been harmful to my unborn baby had it gone untreated any longer. Won't ever go back, nor will I ever refer anyone here.

Dr Aftab Hanif is by far the best doctor. We saw many doctors in the same clinic before. Never was so satisfied like how we were today. Thank you Doctor. Hope to be your regular patients.

Excellent clinic, I have had an ongoing issue over the past 8 months and have been seeing Dr Asher. She has been amazing and put a lot of work into getting me on a path of recovery. Dr Asher is genuine person and I am thankful she is in medicine.

Dr. Aysha Asher is good at all times, she listen and is kind, she always does what's on her hands to support her patient. The Staff is kind and supportive at all times. Highly recommended.

Dr. Farah is amazing. I would recommend her to anyone, and truly feel lucky to have found her. She always takes the time to listen to me and makes me feel like my medical concerns actually matter. I wish more doctors were like her. Excellent environment, very active, friendly and energetic front office staff. Made me feel welcomed and comfortable right from the beginning.

Poor customer service.
Today I had an appointment booked to see the doctor. At my arrival they told me my health care card number is expired/invalid. And that I have to pay 50$ for my visit today. I told them I've never hear about HCC expiring as I'm a Canadian citizen and why didn't they advise me before coming today. They gave me a number to call and validate my care card with Alberta health care saying they won't do that for me. I called Alberta health care they said this information isn't correct. My card is active and there is nothing wrong with it. And they must have a problem with their systen I asked the health care worker if my health care card expires she said no. Called the clinic back they said my health care card is working now and showing working. That is very poor service They wasted my time.

Needed urgently to see a doctor for a gynecological consultation on a Saturday without any appointment in advance, and I was happy to see this clinic accepts walk-ins on weekends. All in one, it took me one hour and 15 min for everything (waiting in line, registering me as a new client, doctor’s consultation, pharmacy medication preparation). The doctor called me in almost a week to let me know the results of the test. Thank you for being there for me!

I came to this clinic multiple times as a walk in and had the best experiences. Once I tried to get a family doctor here every experience after has been awful, from losing my tests to not contacting me after getting results after taking medical tests more than once and waiting over 45 min to be seen for a booked appointment time. I will no longer come to this clinic as I’ve never had a good experience and I don’t recommend it to anyone unless you really need a walk in.

I love this clinic. They take care of their patients and they give great opportunities for students to learn. The doctors and staff are amazing, knowledgeable and courteous.

Dr. Ayesha Asher has been my family doctor for many years now and every appointment with her has been really lovely. She has always gone above and beyond for me and my family over the years and goes over every question and concern in depth. The environment of this clinic is always pleasant and calming and the front staff are really friendly too. The wait-times at this clinic are really reasonable and the doctors stay on time with their appointments. I would highly recommend this clinic to everyone wanting a new family doctor and especially Dr. Ayesha Asher.

Reception staff are always friendly and professional and Dr. Farrah is a great family doctor. Highly recommend this clinic!
