Tony and Noah have been my barbers for over 2 years now at Angelo’s & Luigi’s.those friendly barbers are experts in getting the best version of your haircut, no matter what style you choose or type of hair you got. The customer experience and the quality have been consistent over years, they don’t overbook people, almost always on time with appointments, always go the extra mile to guarantee your satisfaction. Definitely give them a try!

Angelo's & Luigi's (A and L) is a gem - most of us think gem means a precious stone, and that is valid, but the origin is to bud or sprout. I think that is meaningful for tending to hair.
I am an older man and grateful just to have hair left to need a barber. I live in Portugal most of the year and am visiting my partner for a couple of months here in Calgary.
I found this shop in the area of Calgary called Tuxedo Park where I was attracted to the Italian food and grocery scene. And there is so much more to this neighborhood.
I read reviews and the 5 star ratings which for a first time visitor really help.
A and L is on Centre Street with easy street side parking.
It is easy to understand why this shop exists as soon as you enter - of course on one level it is a business - a place of commerce - but it is more a place of service and grace with a welcoming sense of how can we help you.
I love that you can make an appointment online and had done so, but had screwed up the timing due to not updating my laptop clock to Calgary time so actually missed my scheduled appointment.
I went in person to apologize and ask to update a new time and both Angelo and Noah, who actually cut my hair, were so welcoming and forgiving of my mistake.
I met Angelo - yes the original - who is still working at age 80 - what a pleasant and bright eyed curious and gracious man with skills to boot - and proud to offer this service to Calgary.
Noah cut my hair and all he did was effortless - for me - he asked what I wanted and he delivered - he was efficient but still took time to make sure he was doing what I saw in the mirror and approved.
There is so much more to a haircut and service than just scissors and clippers - A and L deliver in every way - after taking care of the head and hair Noah used a hot towel to relax the skin before using a shaving brush around the ears and neck so he could use a razor to trim the skin of hair - most folks simply plug in their trimmers in my experience - the question was asked if I would like my growing Einstein eyebrows trimmed and of course I said yes please - ears too.
Both gentlemen were so cordial in place of chatty - there is a difference - they clearly tailor their skills to the customers' wants - they work with all the modern younger men's grooming styles too - it is "old school" and modern, kind of like the beat of techno with the grace of timeless melody - the timeless black and white photo lit to enhance shadows coupled with IMAX technicolor 3D - it is the timeless '55 Ford and the masterpiece Maserati GranTurismo EV.
For real!
As a man wanting to see how it's done you owe it to yourself to go in at least once - the first time - you'll go back - I know I will.
Take your Son too - your Nephew - your Brother - your Father - they deserve to know how this is done.

The best barbershop I have found since moving to the NE. They do a great job and are willing to work with you to get the style you want. The location is clean and tidy. Always friendly service from the crew there and great conversations:) Thanks for doing such a great job Noah!

If you are looking for a detailed haircut; Angelo's & Luigi's Barbershop is the right spot;
After 5 different places since last December looking for a decent haircut, I met Tony; then it became my bi-weekly must-stop.
Welcoming and kind service while a good conversation takes place. Noah & Angelo, the other barbers, complete the team and allow to offer a classic or personalized haircut.
I highly recommend it.

Today I had my first haircut since I came to Canada 3 months ago. This barbershop was recommended to me and it's good that I followed the recommendation. Noah was the person in charge of making the cut and the result was incredible, aesthetically it looks very good. In addition, Tony and Angelo were there together with Noah to make the environment something extremely pleasant. Great experience and highly recommended.

Tony has the best barber in Canada - hands down.
He has great chat and the shop has an awesome atmosphere whenever you go in. You’re always greeted like a friend, offered a seat, magazine, coffee and the service itself is the best I’ve experienced. Can’t recommend this place enough - once you go, it’ll be your long-term barber shop!
