The food was good and plentiful, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. It was a little more on the pricey side, but then again, it certainly is a large step up over most fast food places.

What fun. I was there just after opening, and some of the regulars were already seated with breakfast. I ordered fish and chips and milkshakes to go. The staff were all pleasant, polite, and had fun energy. I'll be back.

Angel’s Drive in is a great neighborhood place with lots of choices for food. Many different types of burgers. Regular fries, curly fries, onion rings all delicious! The only downside is the bun for burger was quite big in fact too tall which made it too much bun for burger.
But otherwise this is a great place to stop in for breakfast, lunch or supper. I didn’t try but they had ice cream for eating by the dish cone or in milkshakes

Two large chocolate shakes and one large onion rings at $24.40! Too much? Cost of living? Too much? Cost of NOT living? Now, that's a cost that's way too much! So pull it off the road once in a while, right? ! And a good place to do that and to spend some money on life is at Angel's! Good choice, Buster! And good thinking. Here's a crew whom I'm sure, puts in a solid day cooking, making your good choice at an independent business and a legacy landmark in Bowness, to boot! Added up in my head, between cars, well, with the minimum wages, and uniform service, city taxes, paper napkin costs, the price of a plumber's call? Think of an expense and a small business has it! Ask the owners? I'm sure they'll say it's a struggle or something of the like, but with a big smile for your kids, they will thank you so much for coming in! And, hope to see you again! The building has existed for my whole life, it seems. Dad took us boys there a few times, if I can remember correctly that far back? Ha! And their onion rings WERE very hot and crisp, folks! And a yesteryear serving size, for sure! The milkshakes that my brother and I enjoyed were a little celebration of our now, much more rare times together. As far as that cost accounting? Well, everything is expensive, isn't it? ! Darn tootin'! "Hey, easy on that horn, Buster! " What is expensive is spending a day without earning those special moments like sharing a bag of onion rings with your big brother, washed down with a mocha-chocolate and a raspberry-lime shake? Is that what Tim had? I offered him the last onion ring. But he said, "You have it, Douglas". That's us, still brothers! At Angel's Drive-in. Still in Bowness. I came up with my own bumper sticker in my own bumper head, years ago: DREAMS ARE FREE! BUT MEMORIES COST MONEY. Thank you, Angel's, for mine.

Food has gone down hill big time been here when i was a kid and the quality was way better now since they did their updates the quality and freshness has become none existant way over priced for what you're getting

Milk shakes are absolutely delicious! Highly recommended whatever flavour you choose. I love a good Peter's shake, but if I'm being honest, Angel's is better and is more flavourful!

Grew up around this place. Never really realized how classic the burgers still are. Best burgers in Bowness by far.

Excellent little neighborhood diner. Get ice cream, burgers, shakes and enjoy the 50's style atmosphere. Service is fantastic and the kids will love it!

Cute place but not very clean. Food is pretty good and takes a few minutes to make it but always fresh! Be ready to spend a chunk of cash it's pricy.

Everything you'd expect from a grungy hole in the wall diner. Classic food choices, thick milkshakes with real fruit, and walls so dirty you're afraid to look at the bathroom. We'd eat the food again but take it to.

Lovely retro-themed diner, but the jukebox sadly does not work!

Some menu items are made with some pretty basic ingredients and/or don't have a lot of seasoning to them, so some items may taste a little bland. Nevertheless, they are generous with their portions, so you definitely won't leave with an empty stomach.

At the counter service, so you have to go to the counter to pick-up your food once it's ready.

A Drive-Thru option is available but the majority of the menu items do take time to prepare, so it's not the best choice to grab food when you're on the rush. However, it's a short drive from the park if you want to do a little picnic and want some fresh hot food to go with it!

Still the best locally run restaurant in the area if you prefer to support small local businesses.
