I'm glad they took my cat for emergency. Dr. Mohammed was a very nice lady. She explained and gave me options of what my cat was going through. I'm happy with her service. Boy! My cat was angry as he bit me first and almost attacked her. She backed away quickly. One angry cat I have, lol. As soon as we got home, he's ate his food and then went to sleep. He's feeling better. Thank you for all the staff did for me.

DON’T take your pets to see Dr. Tomkowicz. Last year we brought our 1 y/o rescue cat in for itchy skin, acne, possible ear mites, and patchy fur. He spent a maximum of two minutes in the exam room and diagnosed him with something called “Miller Fisher Disease”. He gave us no clear direction on what this was, treatment, cause, and just band-aid prescribed Prednisone (an anti-inflammatory medication). Didn’t even suggest bloodwork or ear swabbing to begin with. Recently, we discovered that normally this diagnosis is quite rare and typically requires a neurological consult, which we were not told by this place, nor did they even begin to do. When we got a second opinion, our now vet asked this place for the records of the diagnosis to consider a possible neuro consult but this place didn’t even keep a record or notes from our initial visit, only the medication they prescribed us. Our new vet willingly spent an hour with us on a home visit going over all possibilities and treatment plans and after they did bloodwork and earswabs, turns out it was just a food allergy and a yeast infection in his ears. Our cat has been uncomfortable for months because of this horrible place. They don’t care about your pets. Go somewhere else.

I’ve been going to Animal medical Centre for a year and a half now and they have not helped me with my cat. My cat has been over grooming in certain areas to the point the hair is gone and it’s a bald red spot. He’s been wearing a cone for over a year and have only been giving me ointments to apply to my cats over groomed areas but he still continues to over groom. They vet said “that’s just his mannerism” it’s not normal for a cat to wear a cone for over a year and to continuously over groom in areas. They did not care to help my cat when he’s itchy and over grooming. They did not bother to figure out the underlying cause. They only care to make money.

In our experience over many years caring for our cats, we've come to greatly appreciate AMC's professionalism. They've certainly earned our trust.
Recently, we brought our sweet little Kacey in after she continued to struggle with a deteriorating medical condition. Dr. Maan counseled my wife and I through the heartbreaking process of understanding each of the options available. Every one of our questions, concerns, and options was discussed to our complete understanding.
Only then, once all implications were known, did we make the terribly difficult choice to end Kacey's pain and allow our precious little girl to rest in peace. This decision would have been so much more difficult without Dr. Maan's thorough explanations and guidance. Thank you, Chandan.
Both you and Karen helped us make the right decision for Kasey. My wife and I are most grateful for your compassion.

I have been dealing with Animal Medical Centre and Dr. Tomkowicz for the past 16 years. He is an incredible Doctor, honest, trustworthy, and compassionate. The centre is always exceptionally clean & organized and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. If you want the best care for your pet, I encourage you to visit them. Highly recommended!

All the doctor here is amazing. Dr. Maan is very thorough for checking my dog (ilo), he is awesome Doctor. Karen and Amanda was very polite and professional. I highly recommend this to all my friends and family.

This place has good medical service, and treated our animals with respect. They gave us everything we needed without us asking to ask, unlike other clinics we have been to. They have reasonable prices, a clean environment, and great staff.

We came from VCA (they lost our cat's record) and this place came recommend from family. The vet was good and the atmosphere of the clinic is very relaxed and friendly. They have a resident bird, which is cool, and they treated our cat with proper medication and dosage right away. We saw a dramatic improvement in his weight and wellbeing, while our previous vet had been unable to properly medicate him for about 2 years. The prices for exams are more affordable as well.

My poor little dog Brodi has allergies and various skin conditions. Whenever something flares up, we're off to see Dr. T at the AMC. He is always pleasant, patient, and just the nicest vet. And he always gets Brodi some relief from the constant itching and scratching. We have been seeing him at the AMC for years, and we will continue to do so.

Great long time staff. Going to the vet is not cheap, so they find ways to decrease visits where they can. And of course, they are all animal lovers.

We have been going to this vet clinic for over 20 years now because at the time we had a pet rabbit and we actually couldn’t find a vet that would take a “rodent” as a patient until we contacted Animal Medical Center and that was the first time we met Dr. Tomkowich. So over the years we have added numerous cats and a dog and even though we have lived in at one time Fort Saskatchewan and now Sherwood Park, we have found a vet that we trust with our fur babies and that is more important than distance or cost. Plus our fur babies love Dr. Tomkowich which is very important to us because I was once in an abusive relationship and my dog unfortunately suffered briefly for it and has a hard time around men, but when he sees Dr. Tomkowich his tail starts wagging and he knows he is getting a treat lol… that is what I want in a vet, someone that my fur babies are excited to see and trust because I’m a nervous mom when we go to the vet so sometimes I need to be reassured and the staff are always so friendly and supportive. I highly recommend this clinic if you looking for a vet…

Brought my kitten Chloe here for her vaccinations last week and I have to say I was very impressed. The ladies working in reception were amazing, super friendly, helpful and super sweet to my kitty. The doctor was also super friendly and left a really good first impression. Will for sure be bringing my Chloe back here, she seemed super comfortable there as well.

This clinic is worth driving across the city to me. The front staff and Dr. Tomkowicz have always treated me and my pets with understanding, compassion and authenticity.
