Anna's Spa and Wellness Centre

I recently booked several acupuncture appointments with Anna. It was something I had researched for quite sometime and it was covered under my benefits plan. Anna was great - she went through the health questionnaire with me, and identified the imbalances I was experiencing and customized my treatment plan for the best possible outcome. I'm very pleased with the results and would highly recommend her services.

I had the most amazing Facial ever by Aminah. She was so fantastic. Her facial and shoulder massage was out of this world. She took her time with the pressure points and making sure I was comfortable.

I highly recommend her.

Got my elderly mother a $150 gift certificate there based on the good reviews online. When we went to book her in person (as she doesn't speak english and needed a translator), the two persons at the reception were very pleasant and booked her for a package that was exactly $150, "you will just have to pay GST". I asked if it would be just $7.50 to be paid as she'd bring the proper amount in cash, and they confirmed.
A week later, my mother came for her treatment. She had a good time and was quite pleased, until time came to pay. A different than the week before person at the reception stated it was $157+GST. We told her that no, we were confirmed twice it would be $150+GST, and after a number of backs and forth, checking notes on her file and noting our willingness to wait for her to check the CCTV footage or to call the other receptionists, she admitted her coworkers made a mistake. But we'd still have to pay $157+GST. It was like talking to a wall, a polite but firm and unpleasant one. I asked to call to the manager and was given a business card and the assurance this issue would be looked into AFTER WE PAID THE TOTAL. Not before. $7 is not a ton, but if they scam even a minority of their customers that way, it will add up quickly. And the main issue was the lack of accountability.
It's been 2 days now and we got no call, no email, to either apologize, make things right, or both. Clearly they don't care about losing customers and have zero accountability. Obviously, we will not return and we advise people considering using this business to get any quotes in writing if they want to use their services.
And if they got no accountability on payments, that makes you wonder what will happen if they make a bigger mistake (i.e. One with medical consequences). Good luck dealing with them if that happens.

I've been going to Anna's for years for laser treatments. Every session is professional and delivered with great service. The prices are very reasonable for laser and the results have been great! Worth the drive from Calgary. Nicole

I had THE BEST microdermabrasion with Aminah of my life. And I’ve been having them for about 15 years so easily have clocked in about 100 of them. Aminah made it the most relaxing experience with lots of massaging around my neck, temples, arms, head, everywhere. I was borderline drooling it was sooooo good. I highly recommend Anna’s Spa. Aminah was AWE-mazing.

I experienced my first dermaplane treatment with Aminah and she was so thorough and did an amazing job to make my skin is glowing. She gives an amazing facial, and my skin feels so much better.

I am not a very picky person at all, and usually ignore little mistakes etc but my experience at Ana's spa wasn't great at all. Booking and checking in was good, the lady who did my facial was late 10 minutes late, no apologies, didn't even introduce herself. Mid facial she somehow got cream in my eyes and it kept burning for 3 hours and i didn't enjoy my facial. She did apologize and told me to wash my eyes, but was too late. The billing process was most annoying, the guy couldn't figure out my bill and took him good 15 minutes to fix everything even though i kept explaining to him what all i got done. Wasn't a wonderful experience for me.

I was getting tension headaches with increasing frequency and intensity. I did three acupuncture sessions with Anna and haven’t had any problems it at least 6 months. This was my first experience with acupuncture. Anna was great. Highly recommended.

Had a great jelly facial on Friday. It’s their special for the month of March for $55. She did a few other treatments catered to my skin concerns and thorough extraction. Front desk staff are warm and friendly. Will be back!

A wonderful little spa, managed by lovely people, in the heart of Airdrie.

From kind, helpful Kal at front desk to attentive, thoughtful Anna who did my hydrotherapy facial - everyone was genuine and professional. My facial session ended with a nice mini neck and shoulder massage - so nice during a hectic week. Anna's knowledge, experience and genuine care for her clients shines through.

There was no forced up-selling (which many, including me, are not a fan of), but instead, they provided useful insight, tips and suggestions.

The location is easy to find and parking is sufficient. The renovated house provides for a cozy feel. It is clean and welcoming.

I highly recommend you check them out as they provide many different services. They are also highly responsive. If you end up reaching their answering service, they will be sure to call you back in a timely manner.

I was experiencing chronic pain with frozen shoulder syndrome. Numerous Physio & Chiro visits were ineffective. Finally not having had any sleep in days I luckily found Ana. She has treated me with Acupuncture and Laser therapy and the results are amazing! My pain has gone from 9/10 to 4/10 in just 4 treatments. Thank you Ana! I highly recommend her if you are suffering with chronic pain conditions.

Absolutely the best massage I have ever had! Anna is a genius and I have never felt more so great. The care and compassion at Anna’s is incredible. Everyone needs to go and take care of themselves sometime, I recommend contacting Anna’s and letting them take care of everything!

Completely flabbergasted! My tendon is almost healed through their laser therapy. I had a tendon injury in my leg 9 months ago and I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to return back to running as I was still in pain. Two weeks into my treatment, my tendon feels great! I am excited to return back to running in the near future!

Got acupuncture from Anna a few days ago! Amazing and different experience. I highly recommend. She was super super kind and answered pretty much all of the questions I had regarding my own health etc. Must book in with her! And she really made me calm when I was skeptic about the needles.

Best Spa I have been here a couple of times for massage, facial for my son and much more. The atmosphere is so welcoming and warm that makes you feel pleasant and relaxed just from the beginning. Anna is amazing! I am not from the area, but I had wanted to continue my laser treatment sessions over the summer. The staff was great at scheduling me in and accommodating me and my busy schedule. I had done 4 or 5 sessions of laser treatment with her and you can tell that she is very experienced and professional. I am very happy with the results and Anna truly cares about your satisfaction. She is friendly and always has a smile on her face. The spa is very relaxing.

Went for a massage. They did an alternative hot/cold stone massage and it was amazing as well as relaxing.

Once you come to Anna's, you'll be greeted by Angela or Stephanie, I haven't had a chance to speak with Angela a lot, but she is very nice! Stephanie is a powerhouse! She is always on the ball, super friendly, really perky, and just an amazing human being who I love talking to every time I visit! She handles things quickly, efficiently and professionally! I feel very comfortable talking to her under any circumstance.

I've been seeing Chelsea religiously 1-3 times a month for facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing AND lash lifts and tints! She's the only one who does lashes, so if you've had yours done, they were done by Chelsea. She is so friendly, funny, and a very honest person. She's been my person ever since I started seeing her, what feels like forever ago! She does an amazing job of everything! She is detail oriented and pays very close attention to making sure things are exactly how you like them. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to the skincare products and always gives me great recommendations! There is never any pressure to buy any if them, but I trust her and value her opinion. She hasn't lead me wrong yet! Once you see her again and again, she instantly knows the routine and knows exactly what needs doing. I looooove visiting her and she's the main reason I didn't want to write an amazingly detailed review. I'm concerned you will all love her so much that booking in to see her will become impossible! Great for her and Anna's Spa, not so great for me!

I saw Jolene today for a Swedish massage and damn! She is very strong! In all the best ways. She worked on my tilted pelvis by focusing on my lower body. This was THE first time I've been able to sit up after having a massage, and not feeling like I can't stand. It's happened so often that I just expect it from places. Jolene was very pleasant and very kind! She showed compassion for my injuries. She was also fantastic at describing what she was feeling and told me what she would like to do if I were to see her again. 10000% she is incredible and I have the utmost faith that by seeing her on a monthly basis, I will be feeling loads better! I never imagined that a RMT could have that much impact on my muscles! I've never felt such an incredible difference!

Kal and Anna run the place and they are both wonderful people! We had something of a private/discrete nature to discuss, and they were both very attentive and appreciative of us for letting them know. Kal is the most respectful owner I have ever met. He is very kind and understanding. When you sit with him and have a good conversation about the place, you can hear and feel the pride he has just radiating off him! They also take feedback very seriously, and everyone is constantly going through training on how to get better! If you EVER encounter an issue, tell Stephanie as she is very discrete, and will let Kal know. He is very good at handling things of that nature.

They also have MONTHLY SPECIALS! That's on top of their yearly membership you can purchase which gives you discounts on products, a free facial and so many more benefits! Your friends an family can use your membership too! Every time I go to the front desk, I scope out the newest specials and book sometimes more than 3 appointments in that moment! The deal price applies for whenever you book your appointment for, not just the month it was purchased! I just booked in 2 jelly facials, 2 months in a row, and both $20 off because of the membership I have! All of their information is on their website too!
