Another Dimension Comics

It was my first time visit any comic store and loved it. They have huge collection of DC, Marvels and other comics from old times. Person at cash counter was so nice and humble man. Must visit and shop local.

Absolutely love this place. Biggest selection of comics out there. Both current and past books. Amazing selection of figures and statues as well. The addition of the website has been terrific. Also the service is great. Not only do they treat me with great customer service, but they have milk bones ready for my dog as well when she comes with. Highly recommend this place!

I always enjoy going to the shop. The staff know what they are talking about and are always helpful in picking a book. I enjoy the staff picks for new books. They bring in a variety of titles and publishers and are always willing to add items to your pull list.

Absolutely love this store! I am a huge Funko POP fan and WOW. There is an amazing, and large variety of everything. Big Shelves for Disney, DC and Marvel. The HUGE section of the sideshow is incredible, just take all my money already. I need everything in here! I'll definitely be back to shop for Christmas gifts!

Huge selection of new comics, action figures and sideshow. I can do most of my collectibles shopping in one place. The staff is great too and always helpful if needed.
I have had a folder at a few other shops in the past. I switched to AD a few years ago and it was the best decision I have made. They do it the best, by far! My favorite place to shop.

Best place to come if your looking to buy funko pops and comic books! Lots of variety, and staff's are very kind and friendly!

Nicest/biggest comic store in the city. Always loved visiting this shop since I was a kid. It's great they carry Sideshow, Hot Toys and Iron Studios.

Holy hot comics Batman! Back issues, statues, posters, Pops, supplies, and the biggest selection of new comics every Wed! They always look out for me when an item comes out that I might be interested in (Taskmaster, anything Keith Giffen)! They have a great selection and I enjoy the physical store, but the online store still needs to be fixed. Almost every time I buy some comics from the online store, one or more need to be refunded cause they don't have it anymore. It's a bit disheartening ordering a comic I've been on the lookout for only for them not to have it all of a sudden. Not a big deal the first couple times, but now it's almost every time. Especially a problem when those out of stock comics I tried to purchase are still available to order long after I've had my order refunded. Feel bad for the next person to get their hopes up.

Another Dimension is an amazing shop filled with books old and new, a vast Funko Pop selection, and everything in-between. Their selection is absolutely top-notch, especially since I like a lot of niche books and genres. I always get a sense of community and care when I go in to grab my books or take part in Free Comic Book Day every May. Any reader of any age is welcome is lovely shop.

Welcoming staff, very helpful. The selection was also very broad. I always find something new that interests me when I come by every few weeks.

I've been going to Another Dimension since the 80's and there is no better comic store out there! They have a deep collection of back issues and graphic novels, they stock tons of current issues and they are always ready to help out with a special order. The staff are all so knowledgeable and friendly. THere are few places I'd rather be on a Wednesday, when the new arrivals comic shelf is stocked, than at AD!

My son has been wanting to go to a comic book store for a long time and we never actually went to one until today. We found Another Dimension Comics. It's a great store with lots of selection and parking in the back. My kiddo enjoyed wandering around and browsing the large selection of comics. He picked up 10 or so comics and was so happy! Said he was in his happy place. We will definitely be back!

Best comic store in the city. Has just about everything and is large enough to get lost in. Great service always here. If you are a geek this is the place to go.

I love this place, it has an almost pawn shop vibe as you walk through the doors but when you get inside its just a wonderful place to be a nerd. This part is unique, so I got my last ronin collection so I would have kept the 5 stars, however in that visit (Friday July 15) there was 0 customer service and while not being asked if I needed help finding anything instead I got to listen to a 10 minute pretentious rant about how modern mcu sucks. If I didn't just find a hard cover collection of the last ronin I would have just gone to Phoenix so I didn't have to listen to the man with the black beard vomit his opinion as though they were facts.

The shop isn't terrible, but it isn't that great. They don't bag and board and a few other shows do at no extra cost. I find better prices elsewhere too. Their shop stinks of cigarette smoke always and that is awful.

Went there with a friend who is a geek in this stuff. It was very educational and they had a very nice selection!

Never know what you'll find here. Sometimes you get lucky finding something other stores have sold out of. Sometimes you get lucky finding an old key on their wall.

Definitely a 5 star Store with EVERYTHING from Marvel & DC so many other comics & collectable stuff here its a must see yourself kinda place photos and review do no justice PLUS. YOU CAN SEE LIFE SIZED HULK!

A good store for current western media, both comics and figures. Selection of manga and accompanying figures is almost non existent however.

Best comic book store in Calgary! Huge selection of comics, past and current. New expanded section of statues and figurines. The staff is always helpful. Checkout the life size statue of the Hulk.

This comic store had everything I could've asked for, great location, cool selection of comics. But the staff seemed a little condescending towards me, a certain staff member would follow me around, and monitor me like I was going to steal something, and was very rude to me when I would ask questions. But cool store!

This very well could be one of the greatest comic book stores in Canada. The staff are knowledgeable and kind, and always willing to have a conversation. The selection is fantastic, and includes new and old books. Not to mention the fact that it's a very clean store with a great layout.

Great shop. Solid choice for new releases, graphic novels, and more underground/European/specialty comics. They've got a bunch of cheap bins to browse through, toys and collectibles, and a section of How To Draw-type books. They are light on manga selection, but there's other stores that cover those bases. Feels like a true haven of nerdom.

Not my favorite Calgary comic store, I find they're the most expensive but you can't deny the selection of new comics and graphic novels and if sculptures/figures are your thing they have plenty to keep your wallet open. The staff is usually friendly but like any comic store I've been to they can be snobby and care more about their friends in the store than you a customer.

she is my favourite customer service person in the world.the renovations an stuff are nice, but I go just to watch her deal with neck beards.it would make good reality TV.

I used to come here weekly for years, until I noticed how badly they're ripping off their customers. I can understand adding U. S conversion rates to single issues, however they are always charging roughly 15 cents extra over the actual conversion rate on every dollar. Also, every comicbook store in this city receives their stock from the exact same supplier, Phoenix comics on 17th ave SW, and red skull sell all their graphic novels and trades at the Canadian cover price, the Phoenix comics up the hill from another dimension on 16th ave goes one better and charges the American cover price, in Canadian dollars, making it by far the best comicbook store in the city to go to, whereas another dimension adds 35% to the us cover price, which more often than not makes it higher than the Canadian cover price listed by the publisher, and than they go and cover the Canadian cover price with a sticker that says "prices different in canada", nah dude, the sticker should say "prices ridiculously inflated by the store". I went from being a faithful weekly customer, to being someone who will only go there if every other comic store doesnt have a book I want, and i cant get it off Amazon or chapters. I'd suggest bypassing this store and just go up the hill to Phoenix comics.

Really enjoyed this place. Got some figurines from things I've had a hard time finding merchandise for (saga, pans Labrinth, etc.)

There is a ton of material here. Comics, graphic novels, figurines, books for table top role playing. It was my first time here, and I highly recommend it.

The absolute gold standard in subscription management.
They email you automatically regarding what books will be ready for pickup each week.
No points of failure regarding variant covers etc as the code you give them is the one they order; and again, you see it on the email notice.
Very quick to answer emails regarding special requests too.

Dude these guys are amazing. Super friendly and quick to help. I walked in on Wednesday saying I had a super rush job to get the stainless steel chimney cover for my ovens range hood modified to length and put in. It was a tricky job to begin with, they had a busy week but still managed to send a guy over to take a look the next morning, he had the tools he needed to do it all right then and there. The workmanship was deadly, the team was so great to deal with, the timeline was fantastic, saved my bacon, and the finished result looked perfect. Couldn't be more happy!

A wonderful, expansive haven for comic geeks. Everything from old back issues of your favorite classic DC and Marvel comics to current single issues. A fantastic, diverse assortment of trade paper backs, Funko Pops, and amazing deals. I am absolutely going to be shopping here again. And yes, there IS a customer parking lot.

Going to free comic book day is a tradition in our home. Another Dimension never fails. It is such scteest to wander amongst all their trinkets and massive selection of comics.

My favourite local comic shop, been going for years, staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to suggest a new title or just talk comics, many of them are able to remember my pull file number when i walk in which is always nice.

Wish there were more back issues, but that seems to be an issue at most comic stores, always tons of copies of new comics and if by chance you do miss an issue, the staff will order it in for you.

The staff here was so amazing. They really know their stuff! They helped my boyfriend answer all the questions he had about a few comic books. They even stayed open after closing to let me purchase the books and helped to answer even more questions!

Has a great collection. The atmosphere is pleasant and so were the employees. It is now my favourite comic book store in Calgary.
