Applause Hotel

When we were going to Calgary for the trip. Here is our first choice every time, fantastic service and amazing place. The food is great too!

We travelled to many places and the applause is the best place we have stayed. Sooooo clean and the staff and housekeeping are soooo nice and know what they are doing. Management are so nice. Please try it.

Great hotel to stay when traveling. Very close for airport. Shuttle is available and running in time. Stuff is super friendly and ready to help anytime. Food is delicious!

Loved our stay. It was great. Great hotel clean and modern. Stephen was great. Gave us information on returning our rental car. Great advice. Reserved our shuttle for the next morning. The restaurant was great. Food was delicious and we had an excellent server. Would highly recommend.

A great hotel in a perfect location. Great for a stopover with all the comforts. The rooms are modernly equipped with a great bathroom and wellness shower. There is a small coffee machine. The service is perfect and there is an airport shuttle

The service here was very friendly and professional! Especially appreciated the airport shuttle that leaves every half hour and the made-to-order breakfast that is included in the room price.

If you need to be close to the airport, this hotel is a great choice. It’s affordable and the service is excellent. All the personnel was super friendly and professional. We especially appreciated our check-in with Stephen at reception who was extremely helpful. Also, the included breakfast wad very good - a real breakfast plate and not the usual and boring continental buffet. ;-)

This was probably the best hotel I've stayed at. Kids LOVED the led lights. Nice beds. Comfortable. Clean. Loved the roof top hottubs.
Restaurant was meh.over-priced.not the best.

Stayed for 1 night with my family march 19-20. Upon entering the hotel approaching the front desk Monika greeted us right away And explained everything that i need to know about the hotel. The room is amazing and clean. My family decided to eat our dinner at tonic kitchen the food was very good specially the service. Its a compliment to our server that night her name is Tricia for a wonderful service. And i met a front desk staff his name is Emmanuel who is very friendly too.the sky deck hot tub is a must experience. The next day we went to the tonic kitchen restaurant again for our complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was amazing too.the food and the service despite the restaurant is full. Our server on that morning was Nika. She is very friendly also and very attentive to our needs. Overall ratings the hotel was one of a kind in terms of the real hospitality industry. Ive never been in a hotel that I received a perfect service at all. Highly recommend. The ambiance is full if positivity and good vibes. Thanks to all the staff of this hotel. Keep it up!

Seems a bit over priced. Room was clean and comfortable. TV in the bathroom was weird but ok. The hot tub is in the other building so you need to go down to main floor, past restaurant and front desk, up a second elevator. What a pain.

Strange underglow beds but other than that not bad, can definitely hear planes leaving and coming since it's so close to the airport

I actually didn’t get to stay at the hotel because they overbooked. I booked a suite for my anniversary and received a call 2.5hours before checkin to let me know that they unfortunately overbooked as they only have two suites. One of the managers then tried to upsell me a room that was 600.00 but offered to give me a discount to 449.10 as they had a spring sale. I was upset for sure. She offered me a regular room or a room at there sister property which was nothing like what I had expected then said okay I will lower the theme room to 350 + tax telling me about the vinyl record in the room and the size etc. The room was still available on there website and then after we spoke 15 minutes later it was taken down. Things happen I get it but it’s super discouraging considering the fact of what’s going on now that I would be tried to be sold a room more than 200 over what I paid. The manager then told me it’s okay to come and she will try to speak to the other guests in the suites and get them to pay the fee to go to the other room. What? ! How does that even make sense. Now it seems your just trying to get your theme room reserved. Anyways nonetheless we got another room elsewhere that cost an additional 100 dollars and moved things around. Thanks for almost ruining my night.
