I don't understand how I can come in to the store for a simple update while everything else on my iphone 11 is working perfectly fine, and then when working with technicians they totally botched my phone and now I can't even turn it on and have to buy a new phone. Very unfortunate that I came into the store with a minor update problem then left with my phone no longer being able to turn on. I don't understand how this can happen considering the only waiver I signed prior to the technician working on it was agreeing that data may potentially be lost.

I own a start up business that is in the process of acquiring new equipment for our operations. After making the decision to use Apple products for our legal office, I attended to this location about a month ago to purchase two desktops and was informed that Apple offers business solutions and that someone would be in touch with us shortly. Over a month of general lack of interest / no information being provided by the business pro assigned to us meant that we decided to pursue our business with the West Edmonton Mall location instead. I can state that they responded with a huge amount of friendly and useful help and we were pleased to receive it. I'm sure this Southgate location is fine for one off purchases and if minimal support is required, however if you are a business owner who is seeking sound support I would highly encourage seeking that from the West Ed location instead.

Dealing with Apple SUPPORT has been an ABSOLUTE nightmare, their customer service representatives literally made me cry

APPLE STAFF AT SOUTHGATE? GIVE THEM ALL A RAISE!

Every person I talked to are so nice, special Kudos to (I’ll try my best to explain)

Tall guy, Swoopy hair, circle style glasses, seems to be in management of the floor.

Sitting and waiting you kind of people watch and he is amazing, then I thought I left my wallet at the store, he went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me and is so kind and considerate.
I hope this gets back to him that he’s doing amazing work. (Found it by the way!)

Don't buy your Apple products at this location. They'll waste your time being unattentive and socialize amongst themselves rather than help customers. Their sales people will even make eye contact but then duck down and avoid you or walk past you to help someone new into the store instead of the "order" of waiting customers trying to get help.

It is sad to see the deterioration of high-end store. Horrible customer service, bad team work, poorly qualified staff.

If you need a new case or a charger it’s Ok but if you need a technical support or a new phone with data transfer do not waste your time.

I came to buy a new phone and change the screen on the Apple Watch. For the Apple Watch I had to wait 2,5 hours for the appointment to find out the price for the screen replacement.
For new apple phone, data transfer was not straightforward (the Apple Store password was lost because the person is not with us anymore) so they could not help. 5 people with the time interval in between tried to help spending time telling each other over and over about the problem until I requested Genius Bar help. A Genius Bar person came and explained that it was impossible to fix. I was ok with no data transfer but interestingly I was told that the applications could not be installed without Apple Store password. Fortunately the manager had brainstorming and said that the applications could be installed with the new Apple Store ID. That’s it.

Sad customer interaction service!
I picked my new iPad today from this store which I purchased from the Apple online store. After scanning my QR code, I was asked to wait at a table while they brought the items to me and after few minutes one if the apple employee walked up to our table n just dropped off items n walked away. No 'hi, this is your product or any sort courtesy.nothing. '
It was humiliating and for a moment I thought was it because of my skin color or what!

Can’t believe how AWFUL the service was. I’m amazed apple hires people that just stand around and talk to their co workers doing not a thing when there’s customers that CLEARLY need help. This store need to do better, this is beyond ridiculous. I’m never going there again.

Its a worst place for taking any services for apple product. I have been waiting in this store almost for 2 hrs to get serve. Staff is so unfriendly and rude, doesnt care of the customer.

Jade was a great help to me and my mom, she could answer all our questions and knew what to ask to work out what our needs would be. She was funny, relaxed, and made the whole process easy.

Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Came into the store and was told to sit at a table and wait for someone to help me without taking my name or giving me a time limit. I waited for 40 minutes for any of the 20 employees on the floor or any of the ones in the back to come and help me as told. I started to get fed up after waiting 40 minutes and not having an employee even look at me, so I got up and went to an employee and then they took my name down and then gave me a 20 minutes wait. I haven’t been mistreated or disrespected like this in a store in a long time. Might as well fire at least 5 of the staff there cause all they do is literally stand around do nothing and neglect their customers.

Long wait, passive staff who are eager to tell you off at any sign of complicated inquires. There was actually more staff in the store than customers, but somehow all of them are ‘looking busy’ at instead of interacting with customer.

It’s very bad experience my phone have a so many issues I went there they told me they fix it. But all problems still on my phone then they said they give new phone they repeat my screen protector put in the new phone and they change mind. They said oh we fix again one more time I said ok they take two hrs to fix I toke my phone come home they reset everything I don’t mind but when I on my phone all problems still there I m very mad then I call Apple care. Tell all story they didn’t listen I go back to store 45 km back take my job off.
Then they take my phone and after 30 min later they give my phone back. They said they change my phone but they said I take your old screen put to this phone I m surprise but they said they so many scratches on my screen
Now when I write this review my iPhone to hot back side
I really don’t know what I do
I love this company.but service people make bad reputation…
I am so upset I wish I buy Samsung soon

Apple is by far the best example of a large entity telling you what you should buy and locking you into its proprietary line of things. No thank you. Just watching people line up to give Apple their money is entertaining.

Why do Apple make it hard just to buy a phone? Stood around for 15 minutes and ended up approaching an employee only to be told to wait another 30 for a specialist. Okay? Specialist comes and I tell them exactly what I want: to buy a phone outright and, and I don't need help. A whole hour fiasco. Workers seem nice, though.

Products are best but customer service is awful.
It happened to me two times in row.
I went to apple store at Southgate today and the employee customer service representative I had talked to was very rude. Seems like he didn’t want to do his job but stand there and chat with his team mates. When I asked for help he used very rude words.

Later he was nice when we were leaving seems Like he realized how badly he treated customers at his work.

PS if you don’t wanna help pls say no instead of making a rude comments and using awful language.

Typical of Apple, they know better than to do things in a normal and intuitive way. Instead of having a service counter and a sales counter with lines that allow you to see where you're at in the queue and understand what's going on, they just have a mob of people doing random things and you have to just sit around for an unknown amount of time until someone gets to you. Have an appointment at a specific time? Doesn't matter. Just sit there quietly until someone randomly talks to you about your issue. Maybe. Eventually.
