I brought in my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee to get the A/C fixed (as I had previously brought it to Tower Chrysler where they charged me $3000 and were unable to fix the A/C hissing sound). ARA auto was great. They diagnosed the real issue, and fixed it at a very fair price. In fact, when they realized the replacement part was going to cost more than they quoted (their original supplier ran out of stock), they did not charge me any extra. I would definitely come back here in the future. Thanks!

I thought I needed new speakers in an old vehicle, they said “try the new stereo first, then see”. They were right and saved me the price of replacing the speakers in a minivan.

Great service and value - transparent with what to expect and fast resolution of an issue that was not able to be determined by my own mechanic. I suspected an electrical issue and after a week with my guy, I brought my car back (after 7 years since an install for a remote starter) to ARA and they figured it out AND got my car back on the road in less than 24 hours! It was an ignition switch problem (so they had to wait until the next day to get the part - otherwise it would have been LESS than an hour) and they went above and beyond to help us out.

If over $2700+ seems expensive to fix your air conditioning issues Do Not Go Here! I just had an a/c condenser replaced here, went back today like they requested, if i was to experience any other issues. I currently have no air in my vehicle. Found out in total it would be another 1500+ to replace the evaporator cord ontop of the 1200+ for the condenser they just replaced, Which apparently was not the issue at all and they failed to check! This place has no communication and no direction. They replaced a condenser that was in perfect condition just to say I need an evaporator cord. Do not go here for a/c problems! The person I originally booked my appointment with was in Europe, so they didn't even have my appointment booked in. Sam was the original person I delt with who I explained everything too, but, was unreachable at the time. So when I arrived for my appointment I almost got turned away because the appointment wasn't booked in. I explained to sam when booking that its possibly only a leak but i was unsure but i had a quote for an ac condenser which was the worst case scenario. He assured me they would check all that to make sure it even needed a condenser. Which hopefully it didn't. So again, because my original appointment was not scheduled and sam was unreachable they went ahead and replaced a perfectly operating condenser. They didn't even look for leaks.and because the owner was also in the same day my appointment was booked for they said he took presidente over my non exsitent appointment. Bcause of all this confusion they now want to charge 1200+1500 to get a/c working in my vehicle.very expensive bill because of their errors. Be very careful when going here for any air conditioning issues! Will take their quote and look for a more honest company with better communication skills! Not sure if they can actually be that poor at organization and communication or its just a way to exploit more money. Vehicle was not diagnosed by another company, it was never fully inspected, it was to be assessment by ARA which was never done! They just replaced successfully, a perfectly fine condenser. When they should have put their 10 hrs towards taking apart my dash to replace the inexpensive evaporator cord! All lies all bull! Did a good job of robbing me blind though! Just be a man and admit you guys made a huge mistake! You replaced a working condenser and want me to pay for your mistake! When you should have thoroughly checked and replaced the evaporator core! Huge Huge mistake guys!

They helped me out getting me audio parts for my older vehicle, everywhere else in Calgary was a 3-6 week wait time, ARA got me sorted out in no time and treated me very well in the short process, just found out about these guys and they just gained a Frequent returning customer!

My car alarm would go off when I started or turned off my car. I called ARA and they got me in to the shop in an hour. 30 min later I had two working upgraded remotes for < then $200. Super company, fair and reasonable not to mention honest. Highly recommend.

Professional services my new battery did not hold the power they found the problem quickly (radio defects)

Went in January to get a sub and amp installed in my car, everything went great was very happy with the end result. Ever since it was installed it was having electrical issues, battery would be dead after sitting for a day. Called the shop and explained what was happening, took it in to get it sorted out. After running a couple tests they diagnosed the issue and fixed it.
They warranty they’re services for up to a year, I appreciate all the work they did. They kept me informed on what was happening and showed me what they were doing to help me get a better understanding of all the hard work they put into my car. They’re a great company, would recommend them to anyone who needs anything automotive done. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

They installed a remote starter for my son. No extra charges like visions was trying to do. And had other touch screen decks installed in the past with great experiences as well

Brian and team were very helpful and able to get me in on short notice. Great service and quality installation.

I did not practically go there. Just asked a question on the internet and they were quiet good to respond with an estimate.

Based on other reviews, I decided to give these guys a call to replace my Remote Starter unit I am so glad I did. Not only that they did a great job; but they walked through the process of the installation. Because I am tech savvy, I understood the language.

All in all, I will be bringing my future vehicles here for any electrical accessories I want installed.

Needed to install LED OEM style Fog Lights from TRS in my 2008 Xterra. ARA was recommended by the dealership as they do a lot of dealer installs. I was quoted between 1-2 hrs of labour and a few shop materials that included a switch. Seemed reasonable.
At first everything seemed well until I went to adjust the cut off point on the fog lights. I quickly discovered that the protective film was literally hacked with what looked like a dull pair of scissors and then literally slapped on. I ended up taking the film off.
After taking everything apart i discovered that the fog lights were mounted upside down. The reason that I know this is because there were no cut off point as the instruction indicated. I ended up taking off the front end and redoing everything myself. This really upset me because I was literally driving for a month and a half and unintentionally blinding everyone with these really bright LED Foglights.
I need my interior re-upholstered with leather in the near future, but I am hesitant to go to ARA. Not sure if the tech had a bad day or someone just did not know what they were doing.

I usually don’t update my reviews. I did stumble on this reply recently. I do not own that vehicle anymore.
However, Maybe I was a little harsh in the initial review.
I appreciate that you replied to the initial post. It’s understandable that it’s tough to install 100% when you don’t deal with the supplied lights on regular basis. You did try to your best and that’s all that matters.
I am updating my rating to 3 stars because I did have to remount the lights slightly and remove the prtotective film.

I am leaving another review for ARA auto accessories as review does not allow more than one review.
I did buy a new vehicle early December 2022. I wanted to wait a little and play with the remote starter before leaving another review.
The dealer said that they could not install a Manual transmission remote starter. The dealer did recommended ARA for the Manual transmission stater install. I did give ARA my business. The car starter was installed when I picked up my new vehicle. The starter works like it should. I know that with manual transmissions there are extra steps that are required to make it all work. Thank you for a job well done.
I am updating my overall rating to 4 stars given my previous experience.
So far I would say that I will be a returning customer for other accessories in the future.
