Very disappointed that this business doesn’t honour legal mask exemptions. Was denied entry because my 2 year old wouldn’t wear a mask. Not me, my 2 year old child.
If you value personal liberty, I wouldn’t darken their door.
Allow time to browse the gift shop of unique and useful items, check the clothing lines.there is sure to be something you'll need to try on, and peruse the many tables of tropical and succulent plants. Friendly staff willing to assist as needed. Always worth stopping in!
I have gone to this greenhouse for years. It is by far my favorite place to shop for my plants. Everything you buy is healthy and the ladies there really know there stuff. I messaged them today about a plant I recieved anonymously from someone and how to look after it since it came with absolutely no info and theym me back as soon. As they could with all the Information I needed. I love these ladies so much
Fabulous little greenhouse. Unlike the 'big' guys this greenhouse is still in the plant business! And plants that grow in Alberta. Knowledge, friendly and very helpful staff. I switched to this greenhouse exclusively 3 years ago and have not regretted it.
Great start of the season it's still early so there was a limited selection but everything was in great shape. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Getting a first glimpse of spring at Arber is a tradition. In the middle of a May week calling for ice and snow-all week, spring was desperately needed. As always the staff were friendly, full of knowledge, and eager to let us in on a few secrets.like the tropical greenhouse filled with all kinds of indoor plants I didn't even know they had. Some beauties I need to bring home next stop. While some of the plants outside were nestled under protection due to the late "last" blast of wintery snow this week, there was plenty on full display. Trees, perennials, and some of the hardy annuals. Inside the main greenhouse, beautifully flowering baskets, fresh mixed planters overflowing with greenery, and a display of early, nearly-blooming sunflowers.everywhere we looked among the tidy rows, beauty met our gaze. The real show was the beaugenvillia completely covered in bright pink blossoms! Being there the week before Mother's day, after lunch on a quiet weekday, it was like a private tour. What a way to blow off the winter bla's. Close to the hekout, you will find the seed selection, what a treat, "pointless cartots" had us giggling! We chose a variety of seed packets for both the garden, flower beds and of course, some cat grass seeds to keep our furry friends occupied and out of our tender shoots, once they sprout. Giftware throughout the retail area is beautifully chosen and displayed, making gift purchases easy and unique. Take a country drive, and stop in to find Arber growing on you!
Arbor Greenhouses is such a great place to chase away the seasonal blues. Come for the brilliant plants, the great conversation, come breathe the air. Just come. You will always have a good time!
We have been doing business with AG for years. Ever since I was a kid I can remember going with mom and to buy flowers in the spring. It wouldn’t be spring without the annual pilgrimage to AG.
