Doug did a fairly basic inspection. His toolset was basic: for example, unlike the inspector recommended by my Realtor, Doug didn’t use a thermal camera (to detect breakdowns in insulation) or a moisture detector (to detect water penetration or pipe leaks) - even though his website says he’ll be ‘using the latest tools and techniques’. I'd give him 3 starts but he was friendly and cheaper than the high-end guys, so 4 stars it is.
